i can't delete mij files in my document it's say's when i will
delecte the file ( MP3 file) cannot delete "filename" acces
denied make sure the disk is not full or write protected and the
file is not currently in use.
i've closed all mij programs in the memory menu butt it will not
move

I've few questions ...
I've read many many pages but I can't understand the right procedure to follow for dumping my Himalaya original ROMs because in some pages the "d2s" command is followed by some numbers and in other, by other numbers ... confusion bring me !
After that, otherwise, I've tried to follow the XDA II procedure and the storing procedure to SD seems to be ok .. but when I try to save the rom dump from my SD to PC using ntwr (otherwise was unreadable in Win), I've got a read error but, in any case, I obtain only one file on my PC of about 400 MB and I suppose that something is wrong because all of you speaks of about 50 MB ... so ... What's the right procedure with the right command? How can I be sure that my dump is correct? The dump it's only one file or one for separate ROM Radio and Extended?
When I solve this issue I can try to upgrade my Himalaya to WM2005.

And then I see prompt.
Now I find the file ROM.nb1 that is 477 MB (like the SD size after a FAT format).
It's ok? ... I don't think so .. but let's going on!
I open the file with an HEX Editor and the file seems ok but after a string like HTCE the file contains all 00h.
Can I cut off that part?
How can I ensure myself that's all ok?

But ...
I acquire more information about my Qtek 2020 (XDA2):
ROM: 1.66.04ITA
Radio: 1.10
ExtROM: 1.66.148
I think that's a WM2003 (not SE), isn't it?
In any case ... I put back my dumped roms in SD and followed the procedure for rom restore:
1 - Bootloader
2 - Put SD into device
3 - Wait for "Press Power Button"
4 - ecc. ecc.
But I never reached number 3, what's wrong?
I've put back the dump as a single file (as ntrw output give to me), it's correct or I must put it back (and so backup first in that way) as 3 separate files?
I've seen that in download area there's no WM2003 dumped rom, so I search by myself and I found RUU172128ITA (1.72 ITA) but I prefer if my backup can be useful for disaster recovery and can be used for my original version backup.
I think that you understand my situation .. I prefer ask before a not funny situation instead fill the forum with hundreds emergency posts.
I hope you think I've reason.

Fix:
- Input Types: (注音) + (倉頡) + (手寫) + (全螢幕手寫) works with no doubt
- relpllog.exe error exixts if 手寫(mboxcht.dll) is called, i dunno why, have checked so many versions from ATOM LIFE to ATOM AKU2.2....still finding. But I think 全螢幕手寫 is good enough.
- Finally I am able to change the program links in the initflashfiles.dat to unicode 16
- SMS issue: If you have SMS issue, please go to phone - options - service and check the SMS default gateway number, for HK it is +8536800852 somewhat like that, just change it to the number your operator provided.

It seems the CHT input doesn't compatible with the WM6 WWE version so is possible to rip the original CHT handwriting file to be cab let us try this ????
Or just translate the CHS 0.4 to CHT is much faster to solve the problem ?

This program, SUGET.EXE, is a companion program to Sudoku Player 1.5 in the signature below, or in the post at:-

It is a console C# application that will download a sudoku puzzle of the day from the internet, and store it in on your device, in the file format that Sudoku Player uses.
It uses today's date, then uses any open data connection if active, or it will open a GPRS data connection if it is closed. (Windows Mobile does this, not the program.)
It only uses a few hundred bytes of data access to get today's puzzle.
If, on your device, the storage card appears as '\Storage Card\' and you have created a directory in it Named 'Sudoku' it will store the file in that directory, otherwise it will place the file in the root directory of your device. You will have to move the file out of the root directory for Sudoku Player to be able to see it. The open file dialog does not seem to allow access to the root directory of the machine. I appreciate that on non English versions of Windows Mobile the card is often named in the native language of that release. In this case it will not be able to store the file on the card, and will just dump it in the root directory. You will have to manually move it/them yourself.
The downloaded file will have a named format of SUxyyddd.TXT, where x is the difficulty of the puzzle G=Gentle,M=Moderate,T=Tough and D=Diabolical, yy is the last two digits of the year and ddd is the Julian date for that year, 001 to 366
The difficulty of the puzzle changes from one day to the next, and follows this pattern:
Mon Gentle
Tue Moderate
Wed Moderate
Thu Tough
Fri Diabolical
Sat Moderate
Sun Diabolical
As an example, the puzzle for Friday the 10th August 2012, would be downloaded as SUD12162.TXT
The puzzle files are loaded from a website that operates as a central feed for several other sites.
Caveat:- If the access method or access code to the feed site changes, the program may suddenly stop working. If it does, I may have to fix it.
It is written in .NET CF 1.1, but it will run on all later versions of .NET CF without a problem, as all it uses are fundamental .NET objects. A DateTime object, a couple of strings, an XmlReader and a StreamWriter and that's it.
The program is a console application, so when it is run, the wait icon appears for a few seconds, then disappears after the program has completed. If it didn't throw an error it probably worked, but see the update below.
The zip file contains a single 6Kb executable. Just drop it on your device and run it.
UPDATE:
It appears that there was a problem with this program at the start of September, caused by puzzles within the serving web site not being loaded. Unfortunately that was completely out of my control. The site was fixed a few days later, and this program is now working correctly again. If it receives an error message from the serving site, it quietly terminates without saving anything, rather than just slapping an error in your face.
FURTHER UPDATE:
It appears to have stopped working again from 1 January 2013, but still works fine for dates in December 2012. (It will accept a command line parameter of dd-mm-yyyy, but this cannot be done directly under Windows Mobile, unless you are running some sort of command line tool.) I may have to pull the program, but not yet, we'll see what happens.

Situation
I have a 780 MB msgstore.db WhatsApp file that I recovered when my phone data was corrupted ( from the available image - data recovery software).
now the issue is that I have the UN encrypted msgstore.db file available and the encrypted files that is dbcrypt or whatever they go by - those were not recoverable.
when I open this 780 MB file with a SQL lite reader I can browse the database so it is not corrupt.
after wiping and new ROM installation WhatsApp went to the cloud ( Google Drive)
and created A 380 MB msgstore.db this file has a lot of my chats missing ( remember WhatsApp cloud stores only 1 backup and it will synch a newer back up senselessly even if it appears less size that previous backup. Which it did not until user confirmed but that is the brain dead design of whatsapp )

( Above thread is a long one but they describe 2 similar approaches 1 uses a phython script and other a Java Prog. I used the latter and successfully created a 1gb output.db file from 2 messagestore.db's )
