Dear PDA users,
At the moment I'm experiencing a sound problem with my XDA. When I play a sound, it's playing it at maximum speed. When I do a full reset, it starts playing sounds extremely slow and speeds up every time I play a sound...until it's at its maximum again.
I have ROM version 3.15.15. Hope you can help.
Vincent.

Why htc titan had lag YouTube videos and games is laggy too?
How do you mean Lag in YT videos? Are you using cellular data or WiFi? Which games seem to be lagging for you? I can honestly say i've not experienced this.
Got no lag on my Titan at all, quite the opposite.
No issues of lag. If even so, WP7 is even more responsive and snappier than windows mobile on the HD2 and android gingerbread on the samsung note.
Hello,
i had buy a Titan that have also lag in Youtube.
It is so that the buffering is a lot faster than the movie play.
But the movie stock's... when the buffering is 100% the movie play without
problem to the end.
I have changed the Titan with another one, but the Problem is still there.
Now i have give the Titan in repair by HTC.
Edit: Behind a Hardreset no Problems but when install more Apps the Problems beginn...
I have testet: Hardreset no Problem in Youtube than install Navigon and the lag is there
I have testet: Hardreset no Problem in Youtube than install ca. 10 Apps and the lag is there
Sorry for my bad english
Maybe this needs to be reported to youtube so that they can update the app
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using XDA App
It is no Problem of App's... it's a Problem of Titan.
I have testet it with HTC-Youtube, Lazytube, etc. all have the lag.

Maybe my phone is broken.i need replace and get new one.sorry my bad english
Don't return it yet. Turn off the srs sound enhancement. it's noted to cause lag in games and videos.

Yep, you only need to turn it off for audio though i believe. This should fix the lag.

I had pretty terrible lag during certain games like Sonic but reading another thread that was posted here, I disabled the SRS audio enhancement and it fixed the issue for the gaming. Maybe disabling the video for the Youtube would help out.
0 issues here.
Try turning off the sound enhancements in settings. the default is SRS, turn all of them off. Should fix some of the lag/stuttering.
I have the sonic issue as well but nothing else. Movies are fantastic and I think the video playback is second to none.
Like the title says. Phenomenon is pretty structured: every 3 seconds I get a drop in achieved frame rate, followed by a catchup at above intended frame rate. Sound stays linear.
It is isolated to the app, as youtube videos play fluent in all my mobile browsers. I've even tried clocking down my CPU, and browser-based playback is still brilliant.
I'm on Huawei U8860 Honor (GB).
Been fighting this for weeks on and off, but since I learned how to play 720p in the app, I really want it to work.
Any help is appreciated. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and it's symptomatic across different ROMs.
Hi all,
I have a bit of a complicated, advanced question which i think would also require an advanced complex solution (hope im wrong and there is a quick fix). Basically the problem i am experiencing is with my 7" android 4.0.4 tablet phone and video streaming, whenever i use a video streaming app e.g youtube, hubi etc etc the video wont load in a proper fashion. What i mean by this is even though you have a very fast internet connection e.g wifi, the video wont load properly and i will experience pauses before the video needs to pre-load again but for some reason wont continue to pre-load as it should, it would stop pre-loading after a few seconds then when the play marker reaches the pre-load marker it would stop before it starts to pre-load again which causes video pauses while playing. The video will take unusually long to start up, once started it will play for a short while before it pauses again to load up again. Let me make this clear to all who may attempt to answer this question, it is not a problem of the wifi reception becuase full reception is received and my download rate is 38 MBPs. It's something to do with how the movies are pre-loaded it seems the apps i am having problems with afore mentioned have a technical fault in pre-loading the video streams. Further to help you understand ive realised flash tehcnology movies pre-load beautifully and smoothly e.g the video stream pre-loads quickly in seconds and the whole movie would take a couple of minutes to pre-load as is expected with a 38 Mbps DL rate. The same problem is experienced via 3G high speed connection. I personally think the problem lies within the android OS and NOT with the connection methods e.g wifi and 3G. Any help would be much appreciated.
To help you help me, here is some information about my tablet phone:
The latest 7" dual sim tablet phone
OS: Android 4.0.4
Kernel version: 3.0.13
Model: ALPS.MID
So far, the z2 for me has been an awesome phone all around, but I do have a major nitpick about the handset, and was wondering if anyone else has this issue..
I have noticed in quite a few of the games that I play, that there is a noticeable delay in audio from what I am doing on screen, for example, I was trying to play cytus last night, however thee was almost a second delay between the music and the actual time you are meant to hit a note
Another example was when I was trying to play sonic cd, the game runs like a dream, however, the audio is about a second behind the gameplay, which sounds very weird when a lot if going on, onscreen..
I have found that some games work fine though, sonic 1 for example works fine, no delay at all..., the same with PSO2es, no delay at all...
Is this a software bug with the phone or is the an audio setting I need to change? Does anyone else have this issue?
Its apparently been knoticed as a device specific bug to do with a odd firmware reaction or at least that what i found googling stuff up

Mine has an audio sync problem when I play 4K movies recorded with the Z2. The sync problem is also present when I play the movies on my PC.
Greetings David
I have the delay problem when playing some games. Very annoying. Is there some sound processing that can be turned off to fix it?
I've lately faced a problem that keeps haunting me on a daily basis.
Whenever I startup a Youtube video from the app, or a Twitch stream or even open a video link with MX Player, I hear the audio normally but the picture is freezed or very low fps for the first 4-10 seconds. This literally happens almost every time when I start watching an online video. Usually when I start the video a few times again or skip to like 0:02 it starts normally. Sometimes this happens when I do a longer skip during the video as well.
It's very annoying and it definitely started happening after the OS updates. My OPX has been working brilliantly otherwise for 5 weeks now and the only customised thing in it is the Google Now launcher I've been using since day 2. My mobile internet is a constant 15/5 mbit 3G plan and this happens on a 10/10 mbit WiFi as well.
Anyone else facing similiar problems?
edit: This seems to happen only when YouTube/Twitch starts the video in HD. When I set YT's quality to 480p or lower and start the next video in that quality, the problems seems to go away. Naturally I expect this phone and this 3G internet to start online videos in HD.
make sure you've updated to oxygen os to V 2.1.3 , if you did, make sure the OPX RAM is not fully loaded by closing recent apps, or check the device storage to make sure it's not almost full, if problem still exist try to wipe cache partition through recovery cuz some phones from different careers comes with same problem in playing music or videos but after wiping cache all goes good, if it didn't work with u so it will be strange thing, i have problems with twitch but not the other apps, hope i helped u.
