:? I have a 256mb storage card; however, most files that I place in the "Pocket PC My Documents" file are always synced to the 32mb storage in the device. Is there a way to specify the location for syncing files (especially mp3s!).
Please help. Thanks.

I just downloaded a program on my PC with the accompanying app for android called "Android Sync Manager Wifi". I like the idea of being able to sync (mostly music) files over wifi from my PC to my phone (Atrix 4g). The issue I'm having is that the program doesn't seem to see or access my SD Card, which is where I store my music. I could just transfer music to the internal storage then move the files to the SD, but I'd rather have the files automatically synced to the SD. So my questions are (1) can I get Android Sync Manager Wifi to see my SD, or if not, (2) is there a way, perhaps an app, that will auto transfer files placed in one folder within the internal storage to a folder within the SD? I know it is theoretically possible, but I don't have the know-how to make it happen.
Thanks!
Now that s3 does not have Mass Storage option, what is the best way to Synchronize Files in a folder on DESKTOP with S3 storage and SD card!
it is always possible to remove the SD card and put in an adapter but things would be easier with Mass Storage and wouldnt be practical to always remove the SD ..
File Sync. solutions like Vice Versa cant read MTP folder....
Thanks....
I used directory bind on my Gameloft files and again on my odd files. All has worked well and the moved programs work. When I go into the phone's internal memory, I still see the files in their original directories and properties shows the file sizes as their original file size. When I select the folder on the internal memory, long press for properties, and it says like 1.7GB. I go to the app manager shows the files as the original size also. However, when I go to settings, storage, it shows my internal memory reduced by 1.7GB. After moving the files, should there be a "ghost" image still on internal memory? I see the files on the SD card and under properties, measure the same 1.7GB.
What is going on? Is this the way it operates?
Its working well, I'm leaving it alone, but just want to know.
I'm using a Huawei P8 with a MicroSD Card to store my cam images and everything works correctly until today.
I found that I can list all the pictures/files from the "gallery" of Android in my local SD files, but when I connect the SD Memory to my PC via USB and mount the FS, I can explore all the tree of the filesystem and also the path where my files are located, but can't see the last 24 hours files I created with my cam.
These same files can be listed in the "Gallery" of my Phone, as well as I can check the same INTERNAL PATH of Android FS that I reproduce later in Windows Explorer without seeing the same files there, but I can see in Windows the rest of the files of that same SD directory.
Anyone can give me some light on this, please?
I have pictures saved to the micro SD card on the phone. I connect the phone to my PC (Windows 7) and I found a bug, where the image size would read as 0 bytes. And on the PC I won't be able to open the file. Copying the file over to the computer will yield an un-openable file.
The image is open-able in the Gallery from Asus in the phone. But if I look under details it won't tell me the size.
Lucky for me the Asus File Manager is still able to read the size of these images.
The Fix:
1) Open file manager from Asus on your phone.
2) Locate your pictures in your micro sd card (Location SD). Check and see if you can see all the file sizes.
3) If yes, select all images. Copy them to a folder in your internal storage (Location IN) in your phone.
4) Then select all the newly created images from the internal storage. Copy them back into the same spot (Location SD) as the origin.
5) Your PC should be able to read those files sizes now. Once everything is fixed, feel free to delete the duplicates in Location IN.
This problem happens when you use a third party program like Microdroid to move files from the internal storage over to your microSD card. As such only use the Asus File Manager to move files.
(You can set the default saving location to your microSD. But I found that to be too slow, specially for video recording. Hence I want to save first to internal storage and then move them to microSD after. Either way you can play around.)
