Anybody know why my xda powers off when it remains without signal ???

Hi,
Need some help with a big problem I got with my HD2 this week-end.
Went on a big long run with it and I think I sweated too much ... I've now got some stange behavior with my phone, it reacts as if I kept the [volume up] key down and I nearly can't use no functionnality ... my battery goes down very fast and I can only take phone calls.
Looks like it works normally for a few minutes and then it starts buggin again.
I already tried to reboot several times but it still doesn't work ...
Waiting for some help and advices please ...

Had the tablet a week now and usually i hold the power button for like 1-2 secs and it powers on. Lately it somtimes does not come on. I keep trying and then it eventually powers up and i see the Samsung Galaxy tab logo. The battery has been about 30%-50% when this happens.
Anyone else experiencing this?
yes same here, had mine for a week now too from pc world. i think its a software issue as i have experimented with it a little and found that it tends yo happen when i power off with an application running. so far its only 'you tube' that ive isolated but there may be others. give it a go and see if it does the same for you.
to turn it back on keep the power button and the volume down button pressed for about 10seconds and it should switch on without any problems.... many thanks to the internet forums for teaching me that one.

Hi, normally software problem. Flash custom ROMs will solve the prob. Cheers.

I have a month old GS2 i9100 bought in india.. running stock ics 4.0.4 xwlpw....
I haven't rooted my phone yet..its as like as it was from the box...
But many times when i try to wake the device from the lock state to unlock..the screen doesn't show up..i hve even tried pressing volume rocker & home key but no use..
Few time i thought my battery went off. but when i turn on the device again its above 50%...
The next time it happened it was above 80%, so i think its a bug....i even tried to call my device when it was in that state, the call got connected and ring goes.but my phone behave like as if its been switched off....
And i hve enabled System Power saving in GS2 wen these things happen..& the battery back up is also good, i 1 1/2 day for hard use..and 2 days in standby.
Pls guys pls do provide me if there's any solution for this...
if its a software issues its ok.. but if its reg hardware issue or battery prob i will hurry for warranty....
So pls guys help me out ..

It's be sleep of death but your phone is ok.

It's a software issue called as sleep of death, mostly the only way to get the phone normal again is removing the battery, but it's easy to recover from, you just need to change the rom, you will need to use Odin. Reflashing with the same stock firmware will also do it.

Not because of the temperature or anything. He turn off after 5min of work, and sometimes after 20 hours of work. but lately it happens all the time... once after 6min, next time after 25min, sometimes after 2min... I bought it six months ago, at first I thought I had a problem with the battery, but in service center (not legal for lenovo) they said that the battery is fine.
I hope you understand me. Please give me your suggestion what i need to do.

I think you should update another rom for your mobile. Let try and see how operation in few days.
