Crucial have this SD card for £55.21 inc (vat, shipping)
http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/PartSpecs.asp?imodule=CT4NJR6D2&cat=Flash
Is this a good deal? If not then plesae suggest another.
I bought my 64MB MMC's last year £40 for one and £30ish for the other. Good to see prices coming down still.
Here you can get a sandisk 256mb SD for under £55 delivered.
Ebay if you dare
I have used Ebay in the past. I have no particular problems with it.
But after looking at the link, it comes out thus:
card £42.50 (cheapest)
p+p £5
insurance £2.50
have to pay via paypal add 1% ??
Rumours of Sbay startring to charge VAT... add 17.5%
Yest you might save a little money. But if you need a receipt/ garantee then Ebay is not the way forward.
Futher comments welcome
Would recommend ebaying from this chap : buzzlghtyrby
Ive had several from him - all arrived in a couple of days, no VAT, no problems, no insurance, no surcharge.
His prices keep dropping and always seem to be the cheapest. Suggest emailing him with your requirements.
Alternatively, Im happy to take a bulk order for people.

you can pay me via paypal or directly on bank.
price is 360gbp or 400euro.
cheers
Good luck with that price
Lol... wow, hot deal of the century here.........
it can be sold for 450 here in slovenia.i am just trying to sell him out
360 British pounds = 548.14 U.S. dollars
It's a decent price over here (Sweden). Not great, but cheaper than buying a Dev Phone through Google.
It ain't that bad,in Spain some people are paying for the G1.....550/700 euros......this is out-flipping-rageous.I got one for my dad here in the US and sent it to Spain,he paid 315 euros with taxes and shipping included, which is a really good deal I think.
all i know is crack is a terrible drug....n causes people to do outlandish things....this phone is by no means worth that price.....
ud have better luck selling it through ebay...
since white g1's are labeled as "rare" they tend to go higher
not to mention the few ADP1's ive seen have sold for over 600usd
Obviously, there doesnt seem to be anyone interested through postings.
If you are interested contact him through PM.
Locking this thread before it gets out of hand.
Good Luck on the sale.
Am I seeing things, or are they both exactly the same card????
Reason is, I am looking for a bigger card, not a stupidly fast class 10 that will have zero benefit in the HD2....currently got a 2gb card, but was going to upgrade to a 4gb, coz if i'm away for the day, be it fishing, or what ever else, I tend to ram my card full of video clips..so need more space.....but 29.99 for a 16gb seems VERY cheap and it's a good make, Sandisk...but surely i'm seeing things or there's some difference for RIPoff Warehouse to be over TWENTY QUID cheaper than Argos for exactly the same thing???
Can someone do me a favour and have a clicky on the links and confirm they are the same etc...seems to good to be true?!?!??
cheers
Matt
Argos: 16GB SanDisk microSDHC £51.05

Carphone Warehouse:16GB SanDisk microSDHC £29.99

Several reasons most likely for the price difference, CPW probably buys more so can negotiate a lower price, also CPW customers are more likely to be tech-savvy and shop around online for the best deal (this is why PCW/DSG would scan the web for similar products and reduce their prices to £1 less).
Argos has a reputation for over pricing some of it's things, actually a few years back it had a reputation for over pricing all of it's things, and then before that for being cheap and cheerful.
Try this:

£17 for a real 16GB is good value, even if is only Class 4
I got my class 10 card at fry's electronics for 29.99 us

~$150 for this phone is a great deal
Edit-
Even less since you can use cashback sites. Fatwallet gives $7.50 back so its around $142.50 plus tax after subtracting the prepaid card

WOW. Excellent. Most probably they will be having V10G on it.
More people expected to join our club
I just checked t-mobile's site, the $50 refill card no longer applies.
I regret not buying this phone when that was still active. That refill card really puts icing on the cake.
Still a cool device though, and there's nothing else in the price range that I'm interested in, so I guess I'll be living in the L9 forum section from now til ???
Looks like the Tmobile site is out of stock, but if you have a Target nearby they have a similar offer where you get 20% off the phone making it $160 when you buy a $50 refill card

I bought my phone on launch day at Best Buy for 350. It was a lot and I was upset that Sprint was charging more than other characters, but I figured I'd just deal with it. After that I heard a couple reports of people getting the phone price hatched for 250. So yesterday (the end of my 14 days) I went in and told them I had paid 350, but I had since heard that Best Buy was price matching the phone for 250 to Amazon. She checked it really quick looked at my order and have me 107 back from the cash register.
Furthermore if you want to save a little extra, you can complain to Sprint about the price and they'll give you a 30 dollar credit. You might be able to try and get them to waive the activation fee too, I've not tried this though.
There is already a thread for $250 at Best Buy.
Guys be very careful of the Micro SD cards you buy off of eBay and Craigslist. I can confidently say that more than half of them are probably fake. I recently bought one off of eBay for a 40 bucks and it was a 64 gb Micro Sd Card. I put it in my phone and noticed that it kept unmounting on me and had atrociously slow data transfer/read rates. Also pictures would not save onto it and the ones that did save would not open after. Upon further inspection and thanks to this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXuxOnHgs0c , I found that the one I bought on eBay was fake and demanded a return right away. So just watch out. You can also use this program to detect counterfeit or real by testing the specs of the storage unit you bought: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/H2testw.shtml
You're better off buying them locally or from reputable online shops.
If you have a MicroCenter close to you, they usually have good prices on flash memory. Only downside is they only go up to 32GB class 10 micro SD cards as of my last visit a couple weeks ago.
craigslist???
i would never
I think that goes without saying. Some things you should just buy from a shop ...... real shop
These things aren't expensive, I don't know why you'd buy them second hand after spending the money on a new flagship phone. I've always bought Sandisk cards from actual camera shops like B&H and Adorama and have never had a problem.
When I'm shopping online I only trust one site for my electronic needs and that's Amazon. And when I'm shopping on Amazon I don't buy from any seller in China. I stick with Amazon fulfillment(aka Prime, ships directly from amazon warehouse) or a trusted seller
If your going to spend $40 just go to Amazon or Best Buy. Actually Amazon has a sale on SD cards. Save yourself like $20

If you're going to buy anything online electronics based stick with reputable retailers. Amazon is great, newegg and microcenter are good as well. Ebay, craigslist, etc can be such a gamble when it comes to electronics it's really not worth it, if it looks too good to be true it usually is.
Best Buy will pricematch Amazon prices if you don't mind paying tax. But stick to reputable stores.
Newegg or Micro Center if there's one near you
We have Best Buy and Frys here in Houston, for accessories I'll go try them at Best Buy and then buy it off Amazon or newegg. Frys, while it's great for electronics and computer parts, has a horrible selection of phone accessories. There's one micro center here but it's way too far from my side of town.

I got burned once before
I bought a 32Gb from ebay auction for $11. It had similar problems. Would save files to it, but kept umounting and would dump all the files on it to lost.dir. They all had broken file extensions and the filenames were garbled. I since just play it safe and stick to sandisk sd cards from amazon.
ebay sd cards
yes same thing to me, a lot of problems and it died after a month or so. Dont go for cheap sd cards on ebay
The Extreme cards are mega expensive, but from time to time my local BB has incredible sales on them. Watch the site. I actually check every couple of days for the sales as I tend to buy things I might not need now, but will appreciate someday, lol.
