I have searched the net and this forum for DECENT ringtones,skins and background BUT I CANT FIND ANY GOOD ONES

Don't know about ringtones n stuff (maybe somewhere like wavcentral.com?) but there is a great theme site...
www.mcdeb.com - the creator of the themes on this site are fab!! I've been using hers pretty much non stop for 3 months now. Some really good designs, and as I've read somewhere before, she seems to be one of the few designers who realise that there is text at the top of the window and we don't want clutter up there as well.

My english isn't very good, sorry...
I'm searching for a special software that can do the following tings:
-Transfere operator logos (i mean the old black and white logos and colored background images for new phonetypes) from pocketpc-device to a mobile phone (spcially for Nokia-phones).
-Transfere ringtones (monophone and polyphone) as above
-Changing starting images and such things...
Is there something in existing that can do that?
Perhaps a little freeware-program or commercial for a few euros.

its said to be able to send ringtones and pictures just like the nokia

I just visited ezos.com, but didn't find a download-posibility for that program (mobikit????). In the description isn't support for sending logos via infrared to phones mentioned (as far as i have seen). I don't think thats what i'm looking for.

Sometimes i think it was a bad idea giving the palm away to buy a pocketpc... there was much more cool freeware and also many commercial software...

You should try searching for this in the Development and Hacking Thread on the main page of XDA-Developers.
Just for the fact that they have plenty of posts on your topic and all of your questions will be answered better there. You should check it out. They have some great stuff there.

This is a rare problem on electronics forums... there is TOOO much information here!
I've never seen a forum like XDA before. I mean you guys are just freaking brilliant.
I've been into Pocket PCs and Phones for a while... but never into flashing ROMs.
Now with all the apps and tweaks out there, I'm just flooded with information.
I have a Sprint touch pro and after some weird mis-hap I had to hard-reset my phone.
So now I have a blank slate.
I've been doing ALOT of reading today. About 12 hours worth and I'm still left with a "DDDUUUUHHHHH" look on my face.
With SOO many ROMs out there I don't know what to choose.
I don't want a "light and fit" ROM. I LOVE features. I LOVE to show off all the "cool" stuff my phone can do to all the iPhone loving friends I have. I don't care so much about speed. I mean I want fast internet, and good video streaming. Other than that I've got no problem waiting an extra 500ms or whatever for a program to open. I just like having alot of STUFF.
Can any of you not so long ago newbs feel like telling what ROMs you chose and why?
Is there a better list of ROMs out there with a 3-5 sentence description all in one place? I've been to PPCGeeks looking at all the ROMs over there, but my god there's too many!

NFSFAN 110. Has WM6.5 and TF3D2. Has some apps installed, most ROMs come with the basics, you have to search the forums for everything else you want.

i'm looking for someone to build a clone of the word-game boggle. I'd like to work with a developer to create this app. I' am happy to fund this project and work out any arrangement which would be in the developers best interest.
in the iphone it is called wurddle (http://semisecretsoftware.com/wurdle/), it is probably the best boggle clone out currently. there are several apps out for winmo (Wordly, Scramble, etc) but they are all rubbish; actually, Wordly is very good except that the developer didnt pay attention to several important factors( the algorithim for letter distribution is not thought out, so you can never make any real words due to the consonant-vowel distribution).
i am an avid word game enthusiast and would like to build this to proper specs (most updated dictionary, various dictionary options, 5x5 and 4x4 optionality, proper letter algorithim, i could go on....)
please note i am not looking to steal anyones work nor am i requesting warez. i would like to build this from the ground up and incur whatever costs are necessary to do so.
i am not super rich but i can afford to fund this to a degree, perhaps fully. mostly because it is killing me that the iphone has this app and my awesome hd2 has junk. i've attached a few pictures of wurdle, wordly, and actual boggle to give you an idea of what im looking for.
let's create something great!

Hmm...This seems like a rather interesting project. I could take this on! I'm not the best dev out there, but this would def. serve as a great learning block for me, and I could definitely get it done. I just need the ideas and how you want it to look/work, and I can do the rest

that's a good sample, but there is no trail version. So it is not the solution to see how it works or do some tests before pay. I think in this case we must find out the wheel a second time .

actually that game sucks. i bought it, like many others. they all suck. there is at least one inherintly wrong thing in every single one of these boggle clones that make it nauseating for me to play. it has the right idea but clearly no developer understands how to create a great, realistic boggle app; which is why i have decided to step in and do this myself.
that game show thing looks pretty cool actually.

Could you make a little storyboard what functions, actions, options this program should have. I'm interested in the development but don't know for sure what should be in or out.
Sharp has made a pretty nice Keitai-style Android phone: sh7218u , but has crippled the OS only to run chinese apps. (They call it DimSim)
What would be the best way on approaching a potential "uncrippling" of this software.. and installing a full blown Andorid on it ?
All suggestions welcome, (I don't wanna hear any "buy a HTC instead" replys) 'cause they don't make clamshell androids)

Now, I don't really know how to read Chinese well so Ive gotten all this info from lurking Chinese forums searching for keywords or just finding these because of others. So, if anyone can help me out with translating this link I'm about to give, ALOT of helpful things will result since it's basically a thread on SH7218U optimization.

Also, if you check out this vid, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmTf300BhpI ,this guys SH7218U is modded so the notification and virtual android buttons have a different look to them. I asked the guy and this is what he said, "It is similar to how to modify the status bar is other android phone (which you can search from google or XDA forum), but the tricky part is instead of modify the frame-res.apk. you do the modification on dianxinos-res.apk". Now that seems simple enough but I can't find any guide on HOW to do this, and him not replying any further didn't help me out.. SO yeh, if anyone can read/write Chinese lets look up on how to mess with the SH7218Us framework.apk and dianxinos-res.apk, as for now Ide rather not mess with those important files without a clear English guide.
So let's try and get something going here possibly maybe perhaps?
