This is NOT a crack or a serial to Caller2Picture 2.26 actually i have bought this software myself but i found a BUG in it
If you install Caller2Picture on you XDA, go to Contacts do a "right click" on any contact then choose "assign picture" Here choose a number for the contact and WITHOUT assigning any picture or Ring tone click on "Remove All". You will get a message saying the all the settings have been removed.
Click on extras, register and you will notice that Caller2Picture will tell you that it is already registered.
:lol: It seems that V2R have complicated the serial number issue by calculating it from the IMEI but has forgot a VERY basic backdoor...
Hey funny, this works except i didnt have a "Remove All" button I had a "Clear Settings" button.

Hi Guys,
Just a quick question regarding contacts. I sync with my outlook contacts at work, when i try and send a sms i press the contacts button. The thing is, it shows me an entry for each type of number
ie
Ali 07833454543
Ali +442078763345
Ali [email protected]
so thats three entries for one person !... as you can imagin it makes the list very long.
is there anything i can do, so that it just shows one line for each person, but when you select it, it shows the other numbers?

Mine does the same mate - don't know how to resolve it, SMS Name doesn't fix it that's for sure, and I've loaded SER 1.2 now... I guess it's 'cos you're using multiple service types, you have to see the different addresses (POP3/SMS)
in outlook, are your contacts displayed correctly?
What would be REALLY intelligent would be some way to have a shortcuts or "speed dial" list for SMS addressing. I only send SMS to a half-dozen people out of my 225 contacts. It would have been smart to allow you to address an SMS with the speed dial contact or some other list.
Any developers want to create some software for this? Guaranteed I'll buy it.

in ppc 2003 you dont have to find the contact by pressing the contacts iclon you just type there name in and it gives you options on the name also it has a character counter so you know how many you have typed. it also seems to run faster and my battery seems to last longer. i havent set the internet up yet but i will this coming week.

Others's name doesn't come out ?
has anyone have similar issue or resolve the problem ?

I have an similar problem
I notice it does not work when try to assign a picture and ringing tone Name (None) Company (None) if your contact has First Name and Lat Name or company name details . i.e. select category Business . Then try to assign/select a picture to the contact name you will experience the above issue:roll: :roll:
There was suppose to be an upgrade out already to correct these issues
with WM2003., so I suggest you check their web site. But if its not available for download yet try contacting them via email thats what a friend of mine did and them sent him a copy.
If all fails take a look at Pic&Ring ($10.00)

Dear,
If you decide to keep using picture2caller as is, you need not alter info in your contact list to make it work. You can manually assign contact number (even when the program does not recognize the contact and shows "None" sign). This trick will work well since the pic will pop up when the call is in via the program and the information of the caller will appear exactly as that in the standard contact program. BTW, you can only assign only one number to one contact at a time

press the picture for about a sec and it will pop up all options for that person call mobil, home, send sms or email

Hi gullum, thank you for your reply, but I did already know that.
I'd like to assign a specific phone number (home, work, etc.) permanently to my Favorite People buttons. By default the mobile phone number of the selected contact is dialed and I couldn't find a way to specify another number. The same applies to the cube...
Then I'll keep using the Speed-dial...
However I've read about this problem in other devices' forums and it seems to be related to the version of the Home plugin.

Great, so on list of SMS click on your "gray square"
Standart SMS/MMS application:
It request you about adding contact <your_phone_numer> say yes, fill some stuff what you want and click again on "gray square" on top, chose picture what you want.
Handcent SMS
It forwards you to Account configuration, where is first menu "Account picture" so just select picture, that you want to use.
In native app sms/mms, that not work if i press on gray square nothing takes place
just an orange border is displayed around gray square.
I have installed handcent and all work fine...
I think that it is a bug of native app...firmware is v10b
Strange.... If I tap on contact which I know, it shows me ikons for call, contactlist, sms and sometime for email if I have configured it. If I click on "unknow" person, it ask me, if I want to add add "xxxxx" to contactlist. I have Neojn's void. based on V10a
Yes that work for me too with unknow contact, i have no problem for add a picture to a contact but for ME not work...MY photo do not appear at right of Me:blablabla...
In same way like for other it worked for me. Try remove your profile information from phone and make sure that you haven't stored number elsewhere and try again.

on French forums several people have the same problem...
Little hazardous solution, but you can try install mms apk from me, for try if it helps.
But backup original apk, or better do nand backup.

LOOOL, you will not believe!!! I was thinking about and I figured out, that here can be only one differences between each other and it is language. I chosen English instead of czech and guess what!! It didn't works. So, dou know some other language or can I write "how to" in czech?

I think, that creating new contact with picture and yours phone number (without country code) should be enough.
so i figured it out ! you go to phone dialer > contacts > menu button > more and my profile and there u go

I think it si a problem of sim card, Mine is more than 15 years old...
On parameter/ about phone/ status/ my number phone is unknow...
If I manually enter a phone number, or get a call from a number not in my conacts list and select Add to Contacts... nothing happens. I'd expect that a space for the name would pop up, as it did in my other phones. It seems that it just adds the number with no name attached.
What am I missing?

Your sig says you run Bionix V. So do I. I can say with confidence when I manually enter a phone number in the dialer and hit "Add To Contacts", that the Contacts list comes up. You can then select an existing contact from the scroll to assign this number to, or hit the big PLUS sign beside the search dialog box to add a new contact.
If this isn't what yours shows, then it's safe to say something is amiss with your Bionix V install. Best of luck.
