same question for dutch telfort (kpn) here.. i recently switched from Vodafone to telfort.. and the incoming voice from everyone I'm calling with is really noisy.. even if I silence the incoming volume it's not fixing the loud voice.

I tried the radio version 1.54.00.10.
First impression : good. Better signal gsm, no longer have a echo.
Try this maybe for Germany.
I'm using 1.47.00.10 on vodafone in the Netherlands.
Together with the Schaps 4.30 rom, all works fine to me!

I use and Mobistar and Proximus in belgium with 1.47.00.10. No problem at all (3G included). As there are some rumors that the radio versions above 1.47 could have a negative impact on the radio hardware, i decided to stay at 1.47.

looking for good Rom that suite my device (Xo5HT) by softbank (Japan) 3G W-CDMA 2100 Raphael 100.
i know there is lots out there but i do not know which one will be fine for my phone .
its also my first time flashing .....
any recommendations will be appreciate it .

i got my first mine working great .
please close it
Last 3 months i have been trying to figure out a way to make S12HT / NIKI500 / Emonster lite etc etc work on GSM.
i unlocked it , SuperCID it and installed the HardSPL 1.22.
tried radios 1.58.21.23, 1.65.14.06K,1.65.24.36, 1.71.09.01K.
changed some 3-4 ROMS.
Apart from the phone function it works beautifully.
so the Problems are :
1)At present the device info shows this phone as " NIKI100"
2)No signal detected ( i m in India and tried using Vodaphone, Airtel and MTNL sim)
3)In some ROM it does not allow to change the Band in phone settings
4)No one in this forum has a thread / reply which could solve these problems (there are similar problem - posts: - at least 5)

this was a similar problem... and a change of radio was suggested.
also as per the information as on pdadb.net , this phone supports all the networks
so if you r correct then i will need to show it to some htc service center.
can it be just the hardware problem??
before taking this phone to service center , i will try the CDMA USIM (Reliance or TATA) with this, hopefully that should work.
If not then no other option than the service center.
that was my problem too. but now i fix it by change radio board which is gsm radio ( from mobile shop that have touch dual spare part in MBK center , bangkok ,THAILAND .) it's cost 2500 bath .

Which part did you replace exactly? Main board?

No hope for GSM network
According to a japanese site niki500 only works on 1700MHz. So I guess no chance to use this except hardware replacement.

hi just purchased a Verizon Droid Razr XT912 off ebay
the seller said that he hasnt paid the bill so the phone is likely to be having a bad ESN and wont work with VZN , ( i guess am fine with that )

3..... my third question would be Camn it be used with a CDMA OMH sim as well , which are available there in India ?
4..... I hope the battery backup is decent on this phone ( especially when GSM radio will be used )
5..... what is the easiest method to root this phone ( does the rooting differ if you are using the cdma or gsm radio )

i have only one concern please help me guys....
im from Mumbai India ! since i have inserted my sim card i do get only 4g connectivity in my mobile i want to switch accordingly to 3g & 2g as well.
can any one suggest me how can i do this ??? im using Airtel - Mumbai Sim Card. i have tried *#*#4636#*#* nothing works for me, guys please suggest me im waitng for your help !!!

There is a option on ur mobile network setting to enable 2g ...
It sounds like you need to set the APN for your carrier.

On the AT&T version the necessary menu is not enabled. Check this thread where someone asked the exact same question a week ago and I posted how to enable it.
