I had a lockup occur, firstly it lost signal, tried soft reset, nothing, just momentarily switched back light on then off then just sat there. Any further presses of reset switch did the same. Had to do a hard reset in the end. Anybody else have this happen. :?:

i noticed tho, that it only happened when playing Turjah 2 for ipaq, not xda, or the cpu accelerator.
it locks and would only work with a hard reset.

Observing a peculiar problem with (probably) Radio Stack.
ROM Version 3.17.03 (Jeff's ROMKitchen) or 3.16.52 ENG (Qtek Upgrade) or 3.14 (Original Qtek when I bought it)
Radio Version 3.23.01 (Qtek)
Problems: XDA suddenly stops responding to all the phone applications. No calls, no sms, no gprs connection. Backlight flickers, or shut off completely. Other applications work but infinitely slowly.
Bootloader observations: upon entering into the bootloader (ver 5.15), it takes long time to settle and I get a message GSM Failure instead of GSM OK. If I try to switch band, or reset GSM, I get the same message after a long wait.
Everything gets restored perfectly well after hard reset.
What could be the possible problem?
I recently upgraded the ROM on my XDA and now there is a long time lag in between pressing the power off button and the screen actually switching off (5-10 seconds). Power on is instantaneous.
Has anyone else encountered this and know what's causing it (and how to fix it?!?)?

it happens to me, but no idea why
sometimes, when i push the power button, theres a delay also
and other times, when iv clearly marked in the settings that when i press a button or tap the screen, the backlight should turn on, but it doesnt

I had the same problem and after a couple of days the the system froze. After doing a soft reset, the radio unit would not come to life anymore and i had to do a hard reset. Very annoying!!!
As late as yesterday evening the delays when switching the XDA of started again, so I´m very curious if history will repeat itself......

Yea me2, it can be annoying, espiecally when all you are turning it on for is to check the time
I have problem with my XDA II which is just been upgraded to 1.66 Chinese ROM. The problem is the machine will freeze right when I turn it on. It only shows the last screen when it shuts down with the automatic shut down setting. No buttons will work at all. This happens about once per day. I was not able to softrest or hardreset. Only if I take out the battery and put it back again, the PDA will hardreset by itself. I had no such problem with the old 1.52 Chinese ROM version. Is anyone experincing the same problem as my? Does anyone know how to stop it from happenning again?
I have had a problem for a while. My wifi settings (SSID, keys etc.) disappear when i soft reset making my thumbs sore entering SSIDs WPA keys, user/pass for my network shares etc.
I think this started when i flashed rom/radio, but its hard to tell since i have long since lost count of how many flashes I've done just the last couple of weeks (damn you time stealin' WM6).
I'm now back on recent offical WM5, but this problem persists.
Anyone else have this problem?

Did you try a power off by pressing and holding the power button for 4 secs????? A soft reset will not save registry settings.
Thats how i always do my softresets unless the phone locks up.
i upgraded to wm6 on sunday, great no problems, system froze on wednesday morning, I soft reset with no programs, just phone capabilities. I soft reset again, now all I get is a HTC smart mobility sunrise screenshot. wm does not load.

Is there a way to unbrick, I scoured the web for info but turned up nix.
Do a Hard Reset. Hold down the 2 soft keys - top 2 buttons above answer and hangup keys, and reset with stylus. Hold All buttons in until it asks if you want to reset back to factory. On the slideout keyboard press "R" then "space". It should reset back to factory. I hope you have a copy of all your contacts or a backup program cos you're gonna loose the lot otherwise...

In addition, why one earth is your SPL still 1.11? You are asking for big problems by at least not put HardSPL on there if you plan to do anymore upgrading!
