i d'ont think that anyone eve thought of that. - MDA, XDA, 1010 General

is thete any tool or program that i can put my xda in the cradle (or usb)
and use the phone through my pc's mic and speakers?

If you only had Bluetooth...
With Bluetooth you can use your PC's multimedia as a handsfree device...
Obviously you need to have a Bluetooth enabled phone and PC to acomplish this... Just pair the two devices and the phone will tell you that your PC can be used as a handsfree....

Analogue telephone and qtek 2020

Hi,
My qtek is connected via USB to my laptop computer wich have a voice modem installed on it.
Now the question is, is it possible to use the qtek; to phone via the modem and use a bluetooth earphone to speak?
i would require a 3th party software program on both the pc and the xda
Ok, Rudegar and whitch one?
sorry if i dident make it clear that i had never heard about such a software
of cause that dont mean there is not such a software
but why use the xda at all i mean if you got a bluetooth headset anyway then why not just bond it with the pc and use it that way directly?
because I don t have a bluetooth connection on my pc. and instead buying 1 I was wondering if I could use my existing equipment.

New Idea Replace your wired PC headset with your own WM

[Q] BT pairing

Hi.
I decided to ask You about BT.
Only device I was able to pair with TG01 was my PDA HP ipaq 214. This way I was able to use internet on ipaq 214 utilizing GPRS connection in TG01.
Unfortunately, I have never been able to pair TG01 with PC or PNA device.
BT manager on TG01 seems to be hopeless in comparison to ipaq214. Maybe it only pairs devices via PAN and that is why I am not able to do it with mentioned devices ?
Any solutions ?

Hi fxdjacentyfxd
I conected my self the TG01 with a friend of mine who have a Samsung wave S8500(BADA OS) and it worked well!
I start the BT after that i just go in Total Commander and chosse the file, click on it and choose "send via bluetooth" and the manager start by himself and find the other phone!
Not to mention that I pair my phone everyday with my car audio sistem!
I think the PC drivers are to blame for your problems!

Thanks.
In pairing process I always get to step that I type autentication password. After this devices stay unpaired. As I mentioned, only with ipaq 214 it works perfect.

I am also having problem with Bluetooth transfer to Android phones, while TG01 in Winmo mode... (of course, we don't have Bluetooth in Tg01 android - yet)...
With other devices I didn't have any issues sending files, back and forth. But no file transfer whatsoever with the Samsung Galaxy S (not mine) having a stock Android 2.2.1 on it. Although that Samsung is talking ok with another Samsung mini Galaxy.

Try not to step the autentication password! I tried and works for me!
And the freezes I encounter (I told you in other conversation we have) is because of the SIM card!
I change the carrier and now the phone works without freezes!
And a_nini75 we should meet at beer! (see that you are from Buc. also! )

I paired tg01 with PNA at last .
It seems it was my mistake in interpretation ? Even if not authenticated after discovery, tg01 requests password when PNA wants to open BT port. An icon I got on tg01 after pairing, represents headphones so I thought I did not get port but .... remote headphones .
Now all works perfect. PNA can serve me now as better gps source for navigation software on tg01 especially for garmin mobile xt which is very CPU demanding.
It works rather poor on PNA.

[Q] Bind desktop USB Headset to connected Android device as local headset

Hello everybody,
I'm searching for following solution. During office day my Android (SG2) is bound to USB and so connected to workstation for the whole day. I'm also using a headset bound to workstation also connected by USB for VoIP and Music (of coz).
Question: To avoid a second headset (for the phone), is there a solution, which could bind the workstation connected headset virtually to the attached Android device as local headset. So whenever a call comes in on the phone, I would use the desktop headset for the call?
Thank you
Dejan

Moving to Q&A
I purchased an ASUS USB-BT21 that allows me to do this on my Windows 7 PC. It uses the Broadcom 2046 chip (use to be WIDCOMM I believe) and the software that comes with it (or download from their site) allows me to pair it with my SGS and answer calls on my PC.
I think any Bluetooth 2.1+EDR adapter should allow you to do this, but I dont know that for sure.
Software Link: http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php
I use the Plantronics Voyager Pro UC2 headset because it pairs with my computer and phone simultaneously. It's also capable of some interesting "presence" stuff when it connects to either device and if you're on the phone or not.
Hello all,
thank you for the input, it seems more fisible to enable BT on PC as merging any USB to BT gateway over PC to Android.

[Q] Use pc audio for smartphone call?

Is there a way to use the pc audio output (microphone, speakers) for the smartphone incoming calls?
With the bluetooth software on my windows netbook you can use the computer as a set of bluetooth speakers. You can simply connect to the computer like you would with say bluetooth headphones. However the microphone does not work, so you will still have to use the microphone of your mobile phone. Maybe you can look at the options on the bluetooth software on your computer? To the left of the time there should be a bluetooth icon (if your computer actually has it).
