If you only had Bluetooth...
With Bluetooth you can use your PC's multimedia as a handsfree device...
Obviously you need to have a Bluetooth enabled phone and PC to acomplish this... Just pair the two devices and the phone will tell you that your PC can be used as a handsfree....
I have a bluetooth usb dongle connected to my computer, I can stream all audio from Prophet to PC (some settings needed to do this). For example when I play any music from my Prophet I can hear it from my PC speakers. Is it possible to do the opposite. Can I use my Prophet to hear all the audio from PC just like a bluetooth headset. This way I can use my Prophet with my wired earphones as a wireless audio receiver. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Was wanting to know if there was any way that one can use a USB headset that connects to his PC to make/take calls from his phone that is also connected via USB?
I know you can do it with bluetooth (using the PC as a bluetooth headset) but is there another way to do it if you don't have a bluetooth dongle?
Thanks.
Is there a way to use the pc audio output (microphone, speakers) for the smartphone incoming calls?
With the bluetooth software on my windows netbook you can use the computer as a set of bluetooth speakers. You can simply connect to the computer like you would with say bluetooth headphones. However the microphone does not work, so you will still have to use the microphone of your mobile phone. Maybe you can look at the options on the bluetooth software on your computer? To the left of the time there should be a bluetooth icon (if your computer actually has it).
