Best Nike Internet Browser

From what I've tried so far Opera mini.
Opera Mobile Build1126 QVGA, i kid you not, at this time the best there is. Waiting for Netfront 3.5 and Skyfire.
netfront 3.5 for sure read this post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395118
works like a charm
cheers
Best Browser
Opera Mini is probably the easiest to use that i have tried out. Does anyone know if i signed up for Skyfire for my shadow, will i have to sign up again and wait again since i use a touch dual?
I use opera 9.51beta1 and I think is awesome.
Almost everything works great, pages looks EXACTLY like on PC, even with very complicated AJAX interface.
Bank accounts works very good too - I can make money transfers that must be confirmed with sms-code
and the most powerful tool - downloads from rapidshare with no problems
Opera 9.5 here and I will never go back.
Ever.
Without a doubt: Opera mobile 9.5 beta1. Opera mini is good, but only for device who can't handle Opera mobile9.5 beta 1.
just a little question... how do you get opera mini working on port 80/443 only data plan? i can´t get it to connect
opera mini is now my favourite browser best app ever handles pages so fast!!

Which browser in S740

Which browser does the S740 have?
If it is Opera or IE6 - has anyone ported it?
Best regards
J
Rose have IE.
I installed Opera, too, and working without any problem.
Hi _vlada_ ..
Which Opera did you install ?
I used to have a Touch Diamond, but just switched back to my i200 instead, because i prefer a keyboard, but i need a better browser..
/Jakob
Well, latest from Opera website : ) 8.65
hello, i was using opera the latest version from the website. the only problem, i don't like this peace of software. Now i'm using SKYFIRE and it's working perfect, and faster. so my opinion, use Skyfire, search one Google, on you're phone and you will find it.
I'm using Opera Mini v4.2 and it works just fine
Faster than IE, and navigation is easier aswell!
Another one - "Torch Mobile’s Iris browser" - most standards-compliant mobile browser. Well at least so they say. I haven't tried it myself.
source: http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=3130
Skyfire
I can also recommend to try SkyFire, because this browser support flash and Silverlight. I was testing it at www.dartfish.tv - first animation is flash, click at some videos - they are using Silverlight
Try this one: Opera Mobile 10 Keypad

Enjoy

Best Web Browser For Rose ?

Hi guys is there any alternative to IE for the Rose ?
I used opera for my old HTC TyTN II and the touch interface was fantastic is there a version of opera available for free for the Rose ? Or is there a better browser ?
Best?
Hard to define that. For most intents and purposes, Opera Mini 5 Beta works and is my most used browser. However, if you want to load any site which contains any amount of heavy lifting via Javascript you'd be best to look elsewhere.
My secondary browser is usually IE for mobile optimised (but not designed for iPhone) sites.
And thirdly, the next third party browser I have installed and don't really mind too much (however is no discontinued) is Torch Mobile Iris Browser (v.1.1.9). If you look around hard enough, you may still be able to find a copy of it hosted somewhere.
Skyfire works great, and can also use flash-sites like youtube

+1
And redtube and youporn
What I do is use the default browser for looking up info quickly, like football scores etc and then use SkyFire if you want something that does a bit more.

[Q] Firefox 4

Anyone succeeded in installing firefox 4? Currently Android Market doesn't think FF is compatible with NC.
go to http://www.opera.com/mobile/ and download it from browser or pc.
That's actually Opera which is an entirely different browser.
The correct link is: firefox.com/m
There is no direct apk download there, only a link to the market (I mean for ff4).

I know its not exactly what you asked for, but may i make another recommendation for you trying Opera?
I am a die hard user of FF4 at home and work, so I wasn't too sure when i gave O11 a try; espeically since i had been using the previous FF mobile betas.
Let me say, FF is blown away by opera on our tabs. The GPU accelerated rendering is awesome (no firefox cherkerboarding, no studdering), and O11 looks more like desktop firefox than FF mobile.
That said, if you still are hell bent on trying it, you can find the release here:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla....ndroid-r7/en-US/fennec-4.0.en-US.eabi-arm.apk
I like ff4 on my nook. Haven't tried Opera, though I have it downloaded
Try doing the Market Fix trick here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11626645&postcount=425
and it should download via the market.
Edit: Just tried Opera on Nookie froyo and it makes a fine mirror... gives me a nice black screen and nothing else after the opera mobile logo disappears. Menu gets no response. Not Impressed
I got FF4 and Opera11 both from the market no problem. I am on an auto-nootered 1.1. I wish I could combine both of those browsers into a single browser.
Opera- smoother scrolling and zooming and quicker page loads
firefox - fantastic interface for tabs and controls
Oh yea about opera, the navigation bar is on top for the nook (with no option to hide it) and on bottom for my phone. Is there anyway to force it to the bottom on the nook? Is there an option in the :config?
Thanks for tips! I like the look and feel of opera but when it failed rendering apple.com (no, I'm not a traitor ), I was a kind of dissapointed.

I am on my nook right now, and with opera on a desktop user agent, it renders just fine. What issue were you having?
I can't follow any link (on the top) from Opera on this site

Actually not only on the top, but anywhere.

This coming from the guy using an Android device?
Due to the size of FF4, I've had to upload it to my server. The forums won't let me attach anything over 8MB, and it's 10MB after zipped. Here's the link.

Running Dromaeo test right now - want to compare Ff4 vs Opera.
In terms of user experience and smoothness of scrolling Opera 10 times better!
Thanks for the link.
I like the interface of Firefox better (especially for tabs), but with Opera's GPU acceleration its mobile browser is one of a kind. It is probably the best tablet browser on the planet....
Ok, apparently I had installed Opera Mobile(?) no idea. uninstalled and tried Opera Mini and.. wow, very smooth. Just tested a bit, need to test flash, but very impressive I like some interface things on FF better but this is very nice
Tried FF4, too long to load, not really any faster (IMHO) than Miren
FF is nice, but that backwards typing bug drives me nuts. (types right to left, weird)
After all I decided that Opera is the best for me. Nice looking, fast, opens in a second.
Does anyone have an Apk for ff 6?

Any Roms that have desktop useragent in it?

I hate mobile sites. I know a few browser apps do it but really want GB browser. (what is with Samsung screwing this browser up? They have the best screen in the industry (ok other than Iphone)...so why kill the real deal?: desktop site views???
No need for a new rom (although the CM7 browser has a huge selection of User Agents to choose from). Dolphin browser is free on the Market and has a desktop UA mode.

I Know that... as I said I'd really rather use GB browser... FStest one... I've tested them all many times. (I use boat browser mini now...2nd best in my 25 site download test).
But.. Do want GB.
I will look into C7 when more kinks are worked out.
type in url "about:useragent" to change user agent on stock browser. I like Opera Mobile the best though. It can download anything from filesharing sites.
