HI everyone,
I bought a HTC HD2 some days ago, and there was win mobile 6.5 and android 2.2 installed. THere were many problem on the Android OS, it was very slow, the auto-rotate function didnt work, the "water scale" didnt also work correctly etc. Win Mobile seemed to work properly...
Today, I installed android 2.2 on my storage card and everything is working fine so far. Of course, WIN MOBILE is on my phones memory. Before installing it, the phone had problems with the flashlight (dual flash), simply, it did not work. Now, it is also not working, neither under WIN Mobile nor ANDROID.
How can I check that it is a hardware failure ? Or maybe its ROM or something ?

What level is the battery at? As I think thart below 20% the flash stops working.
What happens in WinMo when you run the camera and select flash always on and then take a picture?

Under WinMo occurs the same problem, the flash is not working even if I set it to AUTO/ON/OFF.
I also considered that the image quality after taking a picture and comparing it to my friends phone, is more bad than his one

Hi There
I'm not aware of any "diagnostics" modes to test hardware on the device but the first thing I would do from within Winmo is install a Torch App and try and use the torch, if the Torch app initialises the flash on the back of the phone then you know it's a OS fault whereas, if it doesn't you know it's a hardware fault with the flash module itself on the phone

I copied the whole unrar-ed folder to my SD and to phone, in both ways, when I try to start any of those files it says:
There is no application associated with ... Run the application first, then open this file from within the application.
How to run the application ?
Can someone just download the TORCH and explain to me how to install it
Would be very very thankful.

Do not unpack (unzip, unRAR) the file. Just copy it to your phone (or SD card). Use the phone's file explorer and find the file. click on it, and it will install.
.cab files are cabinet files, they pack other files inside them, just like zip files - but they are used in both Windows (the computer o/s) and the WinMo o/s as a unpack and install file (obviously the file should only be run in the desired o/s).

I hope its only the flex cable which is not too expensive, about 10 USD !?
Hi! I need to restore camera drivers in a chinese android phone. I accidentally flashed an early rom with a camera bug (only displayed front camera).
My friend has the same phone (working perfectly) so I could extract its camera libraries and transfer them to the other phone via root explorer.
Where are those drivers located in the phone?

it is in media_profile.xml... i cant remember where does it store...
hi !i really don't know if others open a topic with this problem.....i made some videos with my sgs3 on that moment i could open it but after i transfer to my laptop appear a error...FILM CAN\T BE OPEN!! IT\S STILL .MP4 FORMAT BUT....I NEED HELP !

install proper codecs on PC.
Download vlc player for free on the pc. It will play all video formats known to man

i allready had instaled the vlc and nothing ....when i put those files in my laptopi don't remember exactly if i was asked if i want or not to convert those files....but no reason now i can not watch thoe not on my computer not on my phone....can be because there were to long or why???
CAN ANYONE COULD HELP PLZZ!!!!!!

You need to find the full format information on these dotmp4 files then find a player if not convert .

You say they won't even play on the phone now? Sounds like they have been corrupted somewhere along the line.
I suggest shooting a new video and retry the transfer process and see if you can identify how they got corrupted

I downloaded the new version of the LG camera from the above website, which could be installed normally, but couldn't be opened, there is an error message: unfortunately, the camera has stopped, however, I can open the front camera by long pressing the menu in the camera icon. The rear camera still can't work. How can I make the rear camera work normally?
I think that, although the package name is the same, the version 7 of the LG Camera has been taken from another phone. Of course there are many brilliant developers on XDA, but I don't think that making that app work is just a matter of bug fixing.

it's to do with the camera_config file in system/etc.
if you have root, you can modify the file to get it working.
if you look at some ROMs avaliable, they have LG Camera 7 working, you may be able to use their files as a guide to modify your config to work.

install the contained app normally, no root needed.
from my testing, everything works except cine mode, food mode and popout. Wide angle is a tiny bit odd. Manual video and Graphy features avaliable too.
Feel free to edit the config file to add or remove options.
Tested on a H860

I tried and it worked, it's amazing, but some features are still faulty, as follows: cine video, popout, food, panorama, 360panorama, flash jump-cut, and application will crash when click sticker in self-timer mode, and can not change photo storage to sd card, thanks for your job, you are very kind.

some features are impossible without root as they require files in the system.
those features you mentioned require files not included with the G5.

does anyone here have the nokia x100 and can plug it into the pc with the usb port and go to win10 file explorer and click on there nokia x100 and then internal and dcim and then camera and actually see photos?
i have this phone and i can't. i even just did an internal factory reset and let the phone return to the factory setting i hope! and i still have this issue.
i connect the phone with the usb cable and i see the phone in the win10 file explorer and i click it and then internal then dcim and then camera and up pops lots of icons with a folded corner. i see one actual photo that was taken with an old lg k20 phone. but any photo taken with my galaxy a21 or this nokia x100 show as icons.
if i click on the icon it will open the photo manager and i can see it but that is one photo and i need to be able to see them all in the camera folder on my pc.
i tried to download a nokia x100 driver but win10 told me i had the best driver. now it may be that driver i just got but?
so is this a bug in the firmware. if i can find a way to reinstall the firmware i would give it a try. as when you turn off the phone and the use the power and vol dn buttons you can't get to the actual real hard reset. all it gives you is a real shor bootloader and 3 choices. but you can go into the phone and to settings and then system and then advanced and then reset. but i do not think that is a true hard reset.
i can live with the nokia BS and turn it iff but i need to see photos in the file explorer so i can pick the photos i want to save to the pc.
does anyone have a fix for this? thanks
ok i think i found a work around. i installed a different camera app called open camera it will show the photos on the pc but not in the camera folder you have to use open camera folder. but they show up on the pc. i then now created another folder and i just copy them over to that folder and use the don't copy and the pc will just copy the new photos in the new folder. so in a few months or so i may have enough new photos that i can just use the open camera folder and not have to copy them and will be done with the extra step. or by then my tracfone a51 will be ready to unlock and i will switch phones then. but at least i can now see the photos. i can't see the older photos in the cameras original folder but open camera creates a folder on the phone so it is a work around for now.
