Hi
I had my QTEK 2020 (bought in sweden with english system) stolen in Paris and bought a new one in Paris with French system 1.66. .
I tried to change to English system with ruu16021wwe_dangaard.exe it started the upgrade correct but newer ended, no error whas displayed.
Tried once more and it stops at" getting information from the device"
Now the QTEK 2020 starts showing serial and v1.06 down att the screen.
can´t connect to active sync. XDA tools works until programA starts and tries to connect.
My rom copy of the french system1.66 is also not possible to reinstall
I use windows XP system with XDA Tools and also tried to use the http://xda-developers.com/~itsme/download/wbt-1.5.tar.gz, image but it is not recognized by XDAtools and can´t be copied to any SD. Should it work?
What to do?
Any one in sweden with some good rom´s for me?

hi, im total newbie and my english stinks i need to unlock my XDA IIi for another operator-WM2003SE installed. I try xda2unlock over USB cable step by step with directions from xda-developers forum - it connect with device and read first sector very long time - 9 hours over night and nothing. . When i try 2 update ROM and other in XDA, only one version work - officialy downloaded from O2 site(Xda_IIi_LaunchROM_v1.10.124.exe-on site is nothing more). Now i have ROM 1.10.00 WWE, Radio 1.00.00,Prot. 1337.39,Ext. ROM 1.10.124 WWE. Another ROMs write(for example Xda_II_Upgrade_v16050) error " its not for this device" and display is gray with "serial" or "usb" and "v 1.01" and i cannot turn on or HR. When i try create log file with htcpocketunlock.exe-it write: error #1 connection problem. have andybody same problem and is here someone who knows where is another ROM-radio for XDAIIi and HOW 2 remove F*****G simlock :?:
Hello all, i need some help with mi Qtek 1010, i was trying to downgrade from version 3.04.00 Eng WM2003 SE to version 4.01.16 eng, with a usb cable sync and charge, it´s starts with upgradig but for mi bad luck i receive a message in pc that it was an error to do a softreset in xda, but the only thing i receive in display is upgrading and nothing more, i´ve already try to make the upgrade but now with the cradle and nothing, i´ve already try to copy an rom to sd card with osimage tool start in rescue mode to install from the sd card and do nothing, i´ve no option to flashing from the sd-card!!!!
Please help me, anyone!!!!!!

I tried to upgrade my imate jamin s200 to smart1_wm6_pp8mb. since the operation did not finished I unplugged the usb cable, therefore the machine didn't work and opening now. now some messages are appearing on the screen (IPL:2.15.0001; SPL 2.15.0001; GSM 02.19.21; OS:10.1.0.811)
i need your urgently help... How can i fix it this problem and upgrade my rom again?
Put your Jamin into bootloader mode (camera button hold+softreset with stylus), connect it via USB (not on a hub!!!!) with your PC and try to flash the last update of Qtek, Orange, iMate or something else you like! If your device booting after this correctly you can re-try the flash to WM6!
I switched yesterday many times between Qtek 2.20 Ger, Orange UK, O2 Ger nd smart1's clear WM6 and had no problems during this!

When you want to know what ROM you have flashed to your device, go to Start -> Settings -> System -> Device Information! Here you can find all information you need!
By the way: the latest Qtek update for the S200 is 2.20! You can find it trough Gooogle or the board search! Good luck!

Hi animelover,
Just a question...Do you use the OS extract tool to flash only the os without changing the IPL/SPL, or the roms that you wrote about have no IPL/SPL upgrade? I mean did you fash directly or you flashed only the extracted OS?

I have a O2 XDA Atom. I bought it in Hong Kong so it has the Hong Kong (Chinese) firmware/ROM on it. But I want to upgrade to the English version. So I download the ROM update software from O2, but it does not allow me. It says "Error: Country ID Or Device ID Error". What should I do?

Download ROM you wnat to up.
Run ROM .exe file.After extracting,don't click next button,go to Windows\Temp folder on PC,find pass.32.
Open it with ultraedit32 or winhex,find CHT(with chinese),change to WWE(if you want to up WWE ROM) and save.
Go back ROM update window and click next.After a few step,your phone is had new ROM!

Believe (correct me if im wrong guys, IMO) if you upgrade from one of the ROM's available here at the forum. lets say any updated WM6 cooked rom or even a WM5 that is WWE . it will change everything! the language will be english since it's a WWE.
the error: "Country ID or Device ID Error" has been posted here for the nth time already. You need to enter bootloader mode "camera+reset" prior to upgrading the ROM.
Upgrade Procedure: FYI
1. Put device to bootloader mode: (CAMERA+RESET)
2. Connect device to PC under Windows XP using USB cable
3. Extract files to Windows/Temp then execute Device Software Update Utility.EXE<-(DSUU for Atom Pure)
4. Follow on-screen procedure

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY QTEK 2020 (XDA II) O2 FROM GERMONY.
IT HAS GERMAN LANGUAGE INSIDE AND I TRY TO MAKE IT ENGLISH AND GET ERROR AND NOW EVERYTIME WHEN I TRY TO UPGRADE IT GIVES ERROR 201.
NOT CONNECTING TO ACTIVE SYNC ..... BUT WHEN I CONNECT IT SHOWS ON THE SECREEN SERIAL TO USB .
