PDA2K ROM?

Deeply sorry, may be this is a selly question, but i have no time to get inform myself. I have a PDA2k of my big boss only for one day, he is highly frustrated from its problems. Is there any other ROMs that i can flash it to enhance its functionality, and if answer is yes, is there the same problem of country ID, and can i solve it with the same tools of XDAII>
Thank u very much in advance
I-Mate released a patch today, that is supposed to resolve a lot of the bluetooth issues. You may want to look into that first. The link has been posted on this forum.

Bluetooth GPS - Which one?

Hi altogether,
I want to buy a bluetooth GPS Mouse to use with my Wizard.
Actually I ogle with the CMJ-1000.
Has someone experiences with this one or can recommend me another one?
Should be not that expensive.
I want to use it in the car, while biking and walking/hiking.
Thanks in advance.

Search just a little please... this is a thread just a few down from your new one... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=295300 I personally have given up on recommending accessories as someone will always have a new/better/different suggestion. Read the thread, you'll see some ideas. Let us know what you end up doing so others can benefit.

Sorry, but I read this thread before I posted this one ;-). First, the thread is quite old and did not contain the information I am looking for.
Perhaps I didn't specify my question good enough. "This device xy works fine for me" doesn't help me, because I don't know the needs of the user who is posting.
Perhaps someone who knows, could give some information, which Specs are needed/recommended/needless to different usages.

Well... just about any BT GPS receiver will work, so look for the form factor that suits your needs. Buy a receiver that has at least a SiRF III chip. Here is a site that has a bunch of receivers http://www.usglobalsat.com/ I use the BT359, I drive, I walk, I use it biking but not while I am riding (electronics, biking, death...all too related ) Someone else suggested the iBlue 737 as seen here http://www.gpspassion.com/fr/articles.asp?id=175&page=5
Something you'll have to decide is whether you want data logging. That is useful if you are using the receiver without a live BT-phone connection.
Mostly you need to think about what mode you are going to use it in most frequently. For me, its the car (where I have power so I can overclock the phone), but I do use it elsewhere but it just "depends".

PS you could have added to the old thread and it would have "become new again".

Nike gps + wifi

Hello everybody,
I’m terribly sorry to disturb you but I’ve already use the “search function” on this site and there are plenty of posts and I’m lost …
Do somebody know if there is the GPS and WIFI functions on the HTC TOUCH DUAL ( nike ) ?
If, it s yes, may someone give me the precise link of the ROM I’ve to use in order to active them…
Thanks to everybody
See Sticky on this forum. Short answer - NO. The Touch Dual does not have the hardware for it.
The Hardware is present but no Radio could use it till today! And there wouldn't be any Radio for it!

[Q] General kernel question - DEVICE SPECIFIC!

Hi All!
I have a question for anyone with kernel knowledge, specifically in the area of COM port settings.
I am a part-time dev on the HTC Kaiser (tilt), and we have it running fairly smooth. My one gripe right now is that I don't know where to look for GPS settings, especially the ones pertaining to port address settings.
The Kaiser uses 9600baud non-parity with 8 stop bits. I'm not getting the correct communication betwen the sattelites and the reciever (phone GPS).
The phone will recieve up to 8 sattelites at a time, but never get a lock on a position or even show that the phone is located anywhere.
What I'd like to do is to fix the GPS issue and send a patch out to those having problems with it. I thought it may have something to do with the sattelites updating their RTCs' as was the case with older GPS units, but this isn't the case. We're dealing with a handful of cases across the planet (maybe 15-20% around the world).
Any direction or help is greatly appreciated!

GPS Fix?

A couple days ago someone posted a gps fix in the 3d forums somewhere. I searched for the specific thread; but came up empty. This search function is really frustrating for me. Anyone know which one I'm talking about and where it is?
Thanks in advance.
I think it was this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1493695
You could also try Fasterfix from the Play Store. It has almost 5 stars and would be easier if it works:
