I tried to downgrade from ROM T-Mobile to 1.60 WWE asia rom, but received the message 100 Device ID Error, what should i do? I have changed my model id to PH10B and still does not work, and i can't even up rom to T-Mobile, because the same error, anyone have an ideas?

After failed update Ive decided to go back to 1.66 imate rom ( my device is imate) but whenever I try to do it it gives me error ERROR 100 - deivce ID error. imate stuck in bootlader.

C'mon people, help me out here. I've tried all roms 1.52 original, tmobile, o2 - they all give me this error! Is there a way to avoid device ID checking?
Becare full you guys!! This ROM is FULL of ****!! Upgrade is OKEY!! But DOWNGRADE or STUCK in the MIDDLE while you UpGrade it, YOU WILL GET MODEL ID ERROR!! THAT"S FREAK!! I'm now using T-Mobile ROM lastest version, and I want to try downgrade my ROM to 1.60 Asian Rom (o2), but i'm stuck at the stage 1 (erase rom) and then it skip to the final page where said "Error 112 CE ROM update error" I tried both O2 UK and O2 Asian ROM, it has the same problem, But when i try with T-Mobile, its work!!. Anyone have an ideas? btw, I change the header of device type from PH10B to blank , bcoz it would appear another prob--> model ID error
if your device is originally branded by t-mobile ... you have to modify the country ID in the ROM file to be T-mobile

1. Clean Device ID in all oarts of rom
2.flash it
I've got the same problem just now :x . I know something about flashing myself :shock: . Still I don't know how to "modify the country ID in the ROM" or how to "clean DeviceID in all parts of ROM". Where to look for step-by-step instructions :?: :?: :?:
Try this trick:
1. Get to bootloader (power+navi-key+reset)
2. Put device into cradle
2. Run update

I am puzzled ! I can not upgrade my XDA II anymore.
It was first a 1.66 FRA/Orange XDA II.
I succeed in upgrading it to 1.72WWE.
When using HimaGetDevice, I get PH10/CDL/WWE.
I would like to get back to the french version of 1.72,
but no way : country code error.
I patch the file to CDL/WWE : no way.
Orange/FRA ? Same.
Orange WWE has no more success, nor CDL/FRA.
Seems I am stuck in 1.72WWE...
Does somebody ever meet this strange behaviour ?

try to delete all id-entries in the three update files by using er2003edit and re-start updating. that should help.

Since my last post, I have tried many other things,
but still Country Id error.
I have tried without PH10 stuff, and the error
changed in Model Id error.
So I put back PH10.
I have tried the following settings : PH10/Imate/WWE
and Coutry Id Error again. With O-O-O-O-O flags.
Someone knows the meaning of the flags ? Seems
the second one is the model (when no model in
ROM, then PH appears in second place).

I try to upgrade XDA2 rom from "ruu172104wwe_t-mobile-uk" to "XDAII_172181_Final" and I got this error "ERROR 100: MODEL ID ERROR"
How can I slove this problem?
First I have O2 rom and I upgraded to "ruu172104wwe_t-mobile-uk", when I try to upgrade to "XDAII_172181_Final" everything look fine till the error occur I can open my O2 anymore on the screen show just message "serial v1.03"

I tried to upgrade my Device but When i install new update after two next Give me Error message said " Error 120:country id error" 5-5-N-8-N
and turn off my device and show only on to screen serial and on bottom Ver 1.06

Do you remember what OS was on your device? Which update did you try?
