I have this SD card and my SPV M1000 (with 1.66 FRA ROM) doesn't recognize the Wifi module and 256Mb !!!
The system want to format the sd but it's doesn't work, the foormatting is aborted
The problem come to the SD I/O drivers, do you have any idea ?

Does the documentation mention compatability with the M1000? I see in your screenshot that the software cant even communicate its own serial number. Have you tested the hardware/software in any other device?
The M1000 have an SD I/O port, also this famous combo SD will be to work....

I am just wondering I dont have wifi card yet but the picture you showed looks like you're using CF card driver? Just some thought....
The latested driver version up now (21.07.2004) is:
3.01.04.3.0037/3.01.04.3.0079
I suffer from the same things you mentioned above.

i have a t mobile ppc edition.i have a 512 mb sd card,and when i install programs on my sd card after 2-3 days all the programs are erased and it keeps happening.can anyone help me pls?
there is a problem with sd/mmc and multiple inserts/removals. Its a bug of WM200X and there is no fix for it. I unlock my sd card only when I need to change the data on it. Otherwise my card stays locked. Do a search on this forum for "Multiple SD" and "SD Erase". Good luck!

This bug only on wallaby's (XDA 1) running "WM2003 " it doesn't happen on WM2002.
I have an XDA 1 running 2002, and the SD card wipe problem also seem to happen to me.
I have an O2 Rom version 4.01.12 Eng.
According to this page: http://www.kbalertz.com/kb_843287.aspx
the problem might be related when two or more programs try to access the same files, so the data becomes corrupted and apparently being wiped...
Anyone have a solution or a suggestion?

I can find in the registry a reference to a SD.DLL, but can't find it under file explorer, even when displaying hidden items.
Maybe one of you other XDA1\Wallaby users can find it in your device?

Not searcherd for it on the device. But in the basic ROM its in there...
Should be located directly in the windows folder. i think you have to enable your device to see all files. Normaly dll's are hidden...

try formatting ur sd card with cnetx flash format .it solved the problem to certain extent.its a share ware.if u like it pls purchase after the trial period.

Can anyone else confirm this? :roll: i really dont like PPC2002 but i dont want a wipeout again...
I'm afraid I can't confirm that, I tried to format many times as FAT32 or FAT16 and I experience the same problems as before...
Try this patch, it worked with me 100% on my Wallaby device with no SD erasings since more than 3 months 8)
Use any registry program (Resco Explorer 2003 is great) to install the registry keys or enter it manually..
Don't worry, the patch is non-destructive at all !
( you can do a backup before running this patch if you wish :wink: )
i saw stefan has a much longer version of this. does anyone have any experience with either file? BTW should i even do this if i have never had the problem before?

I have noticed a similar disease on my Qtek 2020 (XDAII):
When I run it with an SDCard 512 Mb there is no problem at all, goes perfect, but as soon as I put in a brand new 1 GB SD card it crashes within a day or two. And it is irreparable... I've sent back one card to the supplier, but now on my second try with a new card and after reading in this topic I begin to felle a bit coldsweating... :x

Yup. went to use navigator today and found my SD card was nor showing. Tried it in a digicam at work which crashed the cam.
In my card reader here format shows as RAW and am having a help of a job getting it reformatted.

I also face similar problem, what i used to do is just take my sd card out and re-insert
and it worked for me
removing and replacing the card has no effect for me.

Hi i recently updated the roms through O2 site everything is fine just i cant seem to install programs ie tomtom or any other cab files???!! can anyone help me. All it does is shows the installation screen with the spinning redblueyellowgreen box and thats it. Im confused why its not doing anything.

its the memory card. Just brought it from ebay 4gb unbranded. I used a old 512mb card and its fine with that. Its when you activate programs on the card it stops and starts. I already formated the card with windows fat32 that didnt work and the panasonic formatting program. It did work for abit but not anymore. Please help

Not sure, but you can try research on the highest capacity a Wizard can take. And, take note of possible scam on high cap unbranded memory cards. E.g. try copying full 4GB contents into the card, just to make sure it is now a scam card.
ok copied up to 3.88 gb of mp3s so its pretty much a 4gb. I stuck the mini sd into a old pda Acer N30 (adapted) and it seems to work fine. Seems like the card is the problem as i have no problems using my old 512mb mini sd. Apparently its a samsung card. Im really stumped.
I have found new drivers for SDHC but I don't have a SDHC card to test them
I have the drivers on my phone and my micro SD card is still working with these driver but I need to know if sdhc will work
someone pleace try and install this cab and tell me if your prophet can read sdhc cards after.

I doesn't own any SDHC card!
After install, my prophet cannot read sdhc and also no normal cards
When i remove the cab the nromal card works again, but i want sdhc

Also I already SDHC driver tried out,SDHC not working , normally sd also(prophet v6, sandisk 4gb sdhc)
I have tried your SHDC driver and other SHDC drivers. But my prophet did not
recognise it..
I think it it the SPL not the driver, it need to be recognized from hardware niot software, hoping it will be fixed by software, but I don't think so

Seems all of the ASUS PDA (which runs WM5/6 and has SD Card Slot Only) has this same patch to make it support SDHC card.

I just got a Transcend 8Gb SDHC Class6, tried the file and won't work. Normal 4Gb (Transcend 150x) still works fine after the (SDHC_driver.CAB) installed.
If anyone want me try any other drive that might work, pls let me know.

I bought a used Nike that worked very well with its Niki Project 2.1.3 ITA.
Suddenly, with no apparent reason, I can't see the micro SD from File Explorer anymore.
I tried to change ROM (Lilly 1.6.1 Manila, original HTC WM6, Niki Project again), radio (1.58, 1.65, 1.71), SPL (from 1.12 to 1.22), in any combination of those, but nothing. Moreover, I formatted the micro SD FAT 32 and FAT 16 on a PC, and tried different sizes of cards (from 256MB to 2GB) and manufacturers, but the micro SD peripheral seems definitely dead.
Please, help!

Flash the official HTC WM6.1 ROM. It will give you the best idea if there is a fault or not. It will update the SPL to 1.22, radio to 1.65.28.25 and ROM to 6.1

(re)flashed the official HTC 6.1, and also your Phoenix 2.41, both followed by a hard reset: micro SD still missing!
(BTW: I'll take Phoenix, that is fast and very nice!)

Is a patch for WM 5/6/6.1 what can allow me use sdhc card?? I have 4GB microSD in miniSD adapter...my HTC TyTN is death - MB is dead....can I use it on OXY??

Cotulla makes one cab file for supporting SDHC in startrek . startrek & oxygen are similar in hardware . who now's , maybe you can use this on your device . please tell us about that.

Who can make SDHC drivers for SDHC micro with adapter or mini??? Please...
HTC TyTN is too old PPC like this SP...and TyTN supported sdhc card with drivers if I good remember....
