After seeing everyone else enjoying their new ROMs I headed to the Asia Pacific site to download a rom for my XDA II... and surprise surprise its not there ... BAH... I did some peeking around and its not even uploaded or on a hidden/unlinked URL yet even :-(
So I dispatched an email to o2 to find out when we can have ours... heres the result...

Where I can find O2 XDA II (Asia) latest ROM? Help me please?
It's been a long time since my last visit. I wonder if it's already here a WM2005 version for the QTEK 2020, and at the same time I'm worried beacuse of the MAGNETO post. Did I understood well someone on Microsoft told to take out the rom's??? Why??? Is it possibel to buy a genuine version of WM2005 for my ppc instead of scrambling and waste lots of hours trying to make a new and suitable one?
My friends, this is all very funny, we have bought a Qtek 2020, I-mate, whatever and microsoft doesn't let us modify it's native software, nor give us the chance to upgrade it, because they don't feel the need to work in a new version for old models... MANY TNKS MS.
Now the important question:
Is it possibel to download a WM2005 version suitable for a QTEK 2020??
If you have bought a PC with Windows 95, you also couldn´t update to Windows 2000. You need a license for this.....
In case of PocketPC the secon problem is, that the os are adapted to each device, so the manufactor/distributors have to adapt them and release them....

It would be great to have a WM2003SE ITA ROM... is anybody thinking to do something similar ? I can help if necessary with translation, but unfortunately not with coding; and I am sure other ITA users can help...

and maybe the people who made the french version of 2005 from the english one

I wonder if one of the companies will give out a ROM with WM6. I am sure one of them will come up with it. Because WM6 isnt finalized yet by microsoft. look in 1-2 months htc will release a WM6 rom for advantage x7500 ^^

I know of three models that will be receiving official Crossbow upgrades. IFrom what I've heard it'll be in the next 2-3 months.

welcome to xda-developers... on the top right hand part of your screen... there is a search function... use it..
short answer... no chance...
And the slightly longer answer (I wish all those nagging newbies would read this...): O2 took a long time getting WM5 to work right on the Atom line. When I bought mine, 4-5 months after release, it had barely gotten past the Alpha stage in ROMs! Who wants WM6, which is really nothing that shiny and new, with a ton of new bugs, incompatible software and annoyances?
WM6 on XDA Stealth?!?

I can dish out unsubstantiated statements just as well as him: I have Mac OS running on my Atom right now, and it works just like the IPhone. And I dual boot with Linux Ubuntu, when I want to. See how easy it is?
