Hello all,
current version is 1.4.1 beta
my own attempt to add the missing "missed call" and "missed sms" reminder to WM 6, WM 6.1 and WM 6.5
the idea here was to keep it simple. the program can vibrate and or generate a chosen sound at a set interval, to notify the user that there are missed calls or unread sms messages. it will wakeup the device if needed to give the notification.
Note: The program has been created and tested on PocketPC phones only. This program might or might not work correctly on Smartphones.
to use:
install the cab on the device or the storage card.
launch the application and set your preferences.
click apply, the program will minimize. it is neccessary to keep the program running to have it generate new reminders, but it only uses the cpu when needed it does not poll every minute or so to see if a notification came in.
hope that someone will find this usefull
The program currently offers the following:
missed notification for missed call/ sms / mms and e-mail
No reminder when call is in progress
Option to set sound per reminder type (the sounds will,if needed, be generated all at once for the moment, this could be changed in the future)
option to "minimize to taskbar" or "minimize and hide"
Lock screen on phone call connect (I am using this myself and decided to keep it in. it locks the screen using the windows lock when a phonecall is connected. it unlocks the screen when a phonecall is finished. Default this is off, and you do not have to use it if you do not want to.)
Option to set vibrate time in seconds
LED vibrate number can be chosen from 0 till 20
Option to not wakeup the device
Option to not give reminder in set timespan (if you specify from 2300 till 0700, it means that the program will not generate a reminder between 2300 and 0700 each day)
About box
Should display in QVGA/VGA/WQVGA/WVGA
The program uses almost no cpu time, only when it is needed
one "advanced user" registry key in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/MissedCallReminder:
debug: Default is "False", if set to "True", the program will generate debug information in a logfile. to help me indentify problems.
NOTE: apparently Omnia devices use the sms count for both SMS and MMS, that means that the program should generate a MMS reminder if SMS reminder is selected. I would like to hear from Omnia users if this is true.
1.4.1 beta release
bugfix: Reminders are given for a notification even if the notification is not selected in the notifications tab. (second attempt )
bugfix: If no reminder between is used the program does not correctly follow the time rule
bugfix: program still vibrates the phone if phone sound is set to silent
TODO (Things that will be in a next version):
Multi language support
WISHLIST (Things that might be in a next version, if i have the time and can make it work)
Option to stop generating a reminder after x minutes
option to stop generating a reminder after x times
KNOWN BUGs (things that,if possible, be fixed in a next version)
A small FAQ
Q: what does Vibrate LED number mean?
A: The LED number specified here is used to vibrate the device. This is different per device. Using the "Menu - Test vibrate" you can test if the number entered in the vibrate LED number field is the correct one for vibrating the device.
Q: what does the menu option "No icon in taskbar mean?
A: the option "Menu - No icon in taskbar" controls the "minimize to taskbar" or "minimize and hide".
When "No icon in taskbar" is NOT selected the program will minimize to the taskbar. the program can only be reopened using the icon in the taskbar. it is not visible in the taskmanager.
When "No icon in taskbar" is selected the program will only minimize. it can be reopened by relaunching the program. it is also visible in the taskmanager.
TouchFlo user should select the "No icon in taskbar". when doing this please close the program and relaunch it for the setting to take effect.
Q: What does "Lock screen on call connect" mean?
A: it locks the screen using the windows lock when a phonecall is connected. it unlocks the screen when a phonecall is finished. Default this is off, and you do not have to use it if you do not want to.
Q: I cannot relaunch the program when it is already running using the program icon.
A: please see post # 2:

Further explanation for the program does not start from program icon
I'll try to explain with some pictures how the program behaves when the no icon in taskbar option is selected or not selected. Just to be sure that it is not the cause for users who are experiencing problems with reopening the program using the program icon:
first situation:
You have installed MissedCallReminder and you start it for the first time, If you change nothing and select Apply the following will now happen:
Menu - no icon in taskbar is NOT selected (noiconintaskbar.jpg)
The program is not visible in any Taskmanager's application list
The MissedCallReminder icon is visible in the taskbar (Iconintaskbarnotselected.jpg)
When this is happening the program will not react to clicks on the program icon in the programs list, it can only be reopened using the taskbar icon.
second situation
You have installed MissedCallReminder and you start it for the first time, you select Menu - no icon in taskbar AND completely exit the application using Menu - Exit. You then restart the program and select Apply and the following will now happen:
Menu - no icon in taskbar is selected (Iconintaskbarselected.jpg)
The program is visible in any Taskmanager's application list (visibleintaskmanager.jpg)
The MissedCallReminder icon is NOT visible in the taskbar
When this is happening the program will react to clicks on the program icon in the programs list.
Request: If users experience this and are certain the above situation is not the case then i would be very interested in what the program registry settings are. if you are able to do this could those users please open a registry editor and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MyMissedCallReminder and tell me the value of the key "minimizetotaskbar"
cool.. i'll be using it

Looks neat
Throwing in an idea, hope it's ok. It would be good if you could have reminders for only missed calls and not messages (or the other way around for that matter - looks like you will get the same reminders from both on the screenshots).
I'm biking a lot and don't always won't to stop to read a new message, hence reminders can be a bit annoying. On the other hand, I'm wearing my headset so I always pick up calls

i am currently working on some "improvements" like having it minimize to the taskbar. i think i will also include the option to turn a reminder on or off for unread SMS or missed call
OMG thx man very much,i was looking for a prog. like this for a while now,thx again great post
Good Job, it works on my KS20
I like it, it is simple
No Vibrating
No vibrating on ASUS P535!
How do you HTC people cope with the reminder witch turns on the screen. In your pocket, an unwanted touch on the screen could run an application?
The Asus P535 has an HOLD button!
Too bad the button apply can't be reached with a 240x320 (landscape) display like the one used on the IPAQ 914C

when applying the settings you can also specify the LED number to vibrate (default is 1) . please try this. perhaps it will be usefull to have a test option.
regarding the unwanted touch problem, i personally use S2U2, so when the device wakes up i do not have this problem.
what i can do is add an option that the device does not wakeup when a reminder is given. but that does mean that you will not hear any reminder until the device wakes up.

There are programs that still work in SLEEP MODE (for example, autoflight is always telling me the time....even in sleep mode).
*Memory heap size = 1Mb (OsRemindMe = 1,6Mb)

i think the LED number for vibrate could be any number between 0 - 5, but i do not know for sure, it is 1 on my Touch. i must admit that setting the LED number is not very clear for first time users. I do not know how to make it so that it automatically uses the correct number.
I'm in the impression that you can not hear a sound if the device is in sleep mode. but perhaps i am mistaken? Autoflight generates a sound without waking up the device?
Thanks it's great
Always wanted an app like that for my WM6.1
nice piece of work
pretty nice work.. however, it would be good if following things can be revised?
--> can you plz add in a feature "number to repeat". FYI, i'm now using Throttle Launcher. So, i can't trigger off the reminder alarm. it would be good if it stops automatically after x-times (which can be set by user),
OR..
whenever i read/aware the missed call/msg, this reminder program would detect that missed call / unread msg = 0, thus OFF the reminder automatically. (This would be preferable)
Many Thanks....
add in some extra information..

regarding above statements, perhaps i shall further clarify....
a) add in "number to repeat"..
example: reminder will give notification every interval of 2mins for 5 times
I'm now using Touch (with Throttle Launcher interface, 240x320), perhaps this reminder program need user to off it manually? yet, it's too bad that i can't trigger this button... so, i suggest 2nd option which stated above....
Thanks...

if the user dismisses the missed calls and marks the unread sms as read while the program is running ,the program should know when not to give the reminder anymore.
however problems can arise if the program is not running and the user dismisses the missed call/unread sms notifications. the set reminder will then not be cancelled. this should be fixed in the next version. the next version will also have an option to clear generated reminders.
Hi,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Personally I think this program has great potential. Just wish it could be revised to a better software.
I tried it yesterday. It rings to notify me that i have missed calls / unread msg.. somehow, I went to read the msg and checked the missed call.. yet, the reminder won't stop.. (and i din see any button to be pressed to stop, if there is any? )..
plz advise?
Thanks
I've written a script called "RandomRingtone". This script allows to automatically change the ringtone after each incoming call. It needs MortScript to run (I'm using 4.3b15) and .NET Compact Framework 3.5. Tested on Benq E72, Windows Mobile 6.5 Standard.
Features:
Various work modes:
Regular - it doesn't change ringtone, little useless, but good if we want to "lock" current ringtone for a while,
Random - allows to select random ringtone,
List - user can specify the order of use.
Exlcusion lists: user can specify which ringtones shouldn't be used by script or which calling numbers shouldn't cause to change the ringtone.
Various notification types: after each incoming call name of actually selected ringtone can be shown as a message, displayed on the homescreen or omitted.
Ignore missed calls: when enabled, only answered call will cause to change the ringtone.
Don't change when meeting profile is active: in this profile no ringtone is used so there is no need to change the ringtone.
Detailed informations:
When work mode is set to "Regular", you still can change ringtones. Just click "Next ringtone", then new random ringtone will be chosen. When work mode is set to "Random", each incoming call will cause to select random ringtone. You can also force the change like previously, clicking "Next ringtone". In this mode, when "Loop" option is enabled, each ringtone will be used only once as long as there are ringtones which have been not used yet. When all ringtones will be used, the cycle starts from the beginning. Even if this option is disabled, next ringtone always is different than actually used. When work mode is set to "List", user can create the list with specified usage order. Clicking on ringtone's name will show context menu with options ("Remove", "Move up", "Move down"). When the list ends, it can be repeated or mode can be changed to random or regular (with given default ringtone). Regardless of chosen work mode, user may select to ignore missed calls - ringtone's change will be done only when call was answered.
User can specify excluded ringtones list. These ringtones will not be used by script, so e.g. these ringtones can be assigned individually to some contacts. Clicking on ringtone's name will display additional context menu. There is also one option which may be useful for that purposes - excluding some contacts. Contacts added to the list will not cause change ringtone when they are calling to us. These options are not connected, but when we assign static ringtone to specified contacts, it would be good if their calls will not cause to change the ringtone .. These options give us ability to do that.
Main script ("RandomRingtone.mscr") is automatically executed after each incoming call through other script, "RandomRingtone_loader.mscr", which is executed by "RandomRingtone_preloader0.mscr" or "RandomRingtone_preloader1.mscr". Those scripts are executed by a small program, "RandomRingtone.exe", which is running in the background and checking for incoming call. User should always run main script, not preloader's application or loader's script. When we want to turn on/off preloader, there is an option in main menu - "Active". To automatically start preloader when system starts, enable "Autorun" option in Settings.
After incoming call script can inform us which ringtone is actually choosen. This can be done in two ways: displaying automatically hiding message with countdown (5 sec.) or through plugin on homescreen. I used "CTestUIPlugin" which is the part of "SlidingPanel" (Bronze plugin), unfortunately I don't know how it looks in other phones. In the attachements I've added modified .xml and .cpr files. User may also supress this notifications selecting proper option.
Strings are stored in file "Language.ini". I've created two files (polish and english, sorry for poor translation, there are probably many linguistic errors, so it will be nice if someone would correct this file...). Error / warning / information messages are part of scripts and are only in english. While normal work you shouldn't even see these messages, but when something going wrong, see if in directory where script is stored exists file "ErrorLog.txt".
Ringtones need to be stored in "\Windows" or directly on "\Storage Card".
Installation:
Unpack archive and run "RandomRingtone.mscr". You need to have MortScript installed (tested on 4.3b15).
If you are using "AppToDate", place "RandomRingtone.xml" into your AppToDate folder (usually "\Application Data\AppToDate").
If you are using "SlidingPanel" (Bronze plugin), you can put "SlidingPanel.home.xml" into "\Application Data\Home" and "SlidingPanel_240x320.cpr" into "\Windows" directory. Standard plugin's icon was changed to "2401;2401" (you can do this manually, key "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\CTestUIPlugin", value "ICONPATHS").
I've attached polish language file, if you want to use them, change name to "Language.ini" and replace with existing one.
Known bugs:
Please report in this topic any bugs, even small or related with poor english translation...
Code:
1. Actual MortScript beta version (4.3b15) seems to has a problem with ExitSub or If...EndIf section, what causes unexpected behaviour even when ExitSub command is in condition which is not true, so shouldn't be processed. By this reason, there is no "Exit" option when we enter into "Ringtones list" submenu, instead of this we need to use "Cancel" softkey.
2. Probably from this same reason MortScript doesn't serve correctly some strings (in "Choice" window), so some ringtones name or options can be displayed incorrectly.
3. Very short incoming calls can cause to not recognize incoming caller number, so when we are using "Excluded contacts" list, script may change ringtone although user is on the list.
4. Few times when system was very low on memory and caller with unknown ID was calling while "Ignore missed calls" was disabled, my phone changed ringtone to default stored in rom.
5. When system is very busy, message which informs about used ringtone may stay in background and not shown.
Changelog:
Version number describes release date (YYMMDD) and version number released in that day.
Code:
100927.01
- Now small .exe application is responsible for incoming call detection, not script like previously. This application is less power consuming than continously running script, which was draining battery too fast.
100503.01
- User can enter script for meeting profile. When meeting profile is active, script will not change the ringtone.
- Minor bugs fixed.
100502.01
- Initial version.
I like it!
An exceptional piece of work!
is it supporting Inesoft Phone 6 ??
I didn't use Inesoft Phone, but it will be working, script uses system registry entries to detect incoming call, not dialer window's title. I don't know exactly what are the features of Inesoft Phone, so some functions may be overlapping but I don't think this happen.
Hi,
I don't know if u r interested in adding any features, but with all the architecture in your script, you might:
Personal tones for text messages
You could also select contacts by using the Cyclone command line app. This way it would pull up the contact list and then select a contact from their...
Of course you would need to handle the playing of the sound for sms.
Mortscript forever?
Is there some way to change the tasks and appointments notification system behavior in WM? Mine is already tweaked for use the classic alert interface, instead of the HD2 default one, and which I can choose between several predefined options for delay the task reminder, but from my point of view, this is very unpractical, because, in most of cases, this predefined times are not the ones I need. Other think that annoys me a lot, is the behavior of this notification interface when I choose the option for edit the task -> if I edit the task and change the hour of the reminder for, let's say 2 hours later, after press the ok button, WM doesn't closes the notification (as it does if, I choose the "delete task" one); it remains opened, and if I push the the dismiss button all the changes maked in the edition will be lost.
Moreover, most of all PIM apps, like Agenda One, ThumbCal, an so forth, use this built in WM interface for throw it's alerts, so this apps, in some way become unusables too.
SO... The questions are:
1. Is there some way to change the WM behavior with the alerts?
2. Is there some way to via cab, registry hack or so, for to get a menu where you can choose a desired delayed time for the task, alert or appointment in a precise way?
3. Is there some way for auto-close the tasks alert popup after edit it?
Thanks in advance and sorry if I didn't express mysell better. English is no my home language.
So is not possible?
I have found a very nasty bug in the file RingtonePickerActivity.java, but I don't know how to fix it.
The problem:
some applications that let you choose a ringtone FAIL to show the ringtone picker. An example is Gmail Label Notifier and Metal Detector (by Kurt Radwanski).
Description:
when you choose the option to select a ringtone in some applications, a force close is shown, but depending on which build you use, it even REBOOTS Android.
Steps to reproduce:
dince Gmail Label Notifier is a paid app, I will show you the steps for Metal Detector:
Install the app, run it.
When the main screen appears, press the menu button
Choose Settings
Check "Play sound?"
Then press "Change sound..."
a FORCE CLOSE or REBOOT will hit your device.
More info:
Eclair builds were working perfectly.
Now that the source has been released, I'm sure it will be easy to fix.
Hi, I'm new to this and really hope that I'm in the right forum.
(I've returned to the top of this post as I am way further down typing it I realise how long it is, so please accept my sincere apologies)
I may just be being a little paranoid, but I just have a feeling that something is not quite right where my phone is concerned and I am worried that it may have been compromised, i.e. it has had some sort of spy app/ spyware installed on it / it is being tracked / tapped.
First started to notice new background noises when making calls and specific other device(s) around me (not mine) making notification (email) sounds immediately as I was sending texts (this at what would normally be considered unusual hours early in the morning) and some apps and services 'running' on my device that I've not really noticed before and when 'Googled' throw up some worrying possibilities. One of the most noticeable was an app that began running only when I receive an text message (see below in running apps, first one listed).
Like I say, it may be nothing, but I just have something in the back of my mind, especially as I have left my phone at of times in recent months around people that, well, may have motive to do such a thing.
I've read that if some sort of spy app/ spyware has been installed by someone with access to my phone then it can be very difficult to identify, but not impossible?
Perhaps now I should make a list of some of the apps and associated processes that are running on my device in the hope that you can either confirm suspicion, or ease my concerns.
Oh, my device btw is a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) - Android Version 4.4.2 - Kernel Version 3.4.0- 1955971
RUNNING
1. Exchange Services
This app only starts running whenever I have received my first text after starting up my device. It states '1 process and 1 service' and when accessing it from running apps under Services is shows SmsRelayService and under Processes it shows Exchange Services with com.android.exchange directly below that.
This concerns me because of what I have read on Google, in that it could well be that my texts are being forwarded (relayed) to an email account. Particularly as it would appear that 'Exchange Services' relates to Hotmail/ Outlook and I don't use either of these.
2. S Voice
This app shows as running constantly and starts whenever the device is started up. What concerns me about this is what is listed under Services which is LMTTService. The reason this concerns me is because if you Google LMTTService or LMTT Service it throws up a number of results, most/ all of which direct in one way or another to some sort of Spy App/ Spyware site!
3. Remote Controls
This again is running constantly and the Services listed is XDMService and Processes showing Remote controls with com.fmm.dm directly below that.
4. Software Update
Again running constantly with the same Services as 3 listed XDMService and Processes showing Software update with com.wssyncmldm directly below that.
5. Google App
This may one that is completely expected, but under Services it has BroadcastListenerService and I don't use the Google app, I use the Internet app.
6. Google Services
This again may be completely expected, but I'm just not sure if I have ever noticed it before. It also shows an Android as its icon and no Google icon, but then I guess that's no big deal right? The Services listed are as follows on this one (note that the whole name is not always visible, probably due to its length:
- DeviceConnectionService..
- GoogleLocationManager..
- GoogleLocationService
- DispatchingService
- GmsCoreStatsService
- PendingIntentCallbackSe..
The Processes show tow which are Google Services with com.google.android.gms.persistent below it and Google Services with com.google.processes.gapps
7. S Finder
I'm not sure what this is at all? But under Services it has LocationTagReadyService and TagReadyService with Processes listed as S Finder with com.samsung.android.app.galaxyfinder:tagService
8. Samsung Link
This shows under Services just one which is Samsung Link Service and under Processes it shows Samsung Link with com.sec.pcw below that.
Well at the minute I guess that's enough for the RUNNING apps and maybe I can list a few (or more) that appear under ALL apps, but before that may I mention that when I started my device yesterday an immediate checked the RUNNING apps something briefly popped up which was Device Test with DummyFTClient any thoughts?
ALL apps
I will just add a list and if then there are any that immediately stand out (should I get any views and replies on this post) then I can provide more info on Permissions, as this is always a concern!

Ok, that's it and again I AM VERY SORRY for the length of this post, but I am just very concerned by some of the behaviours my phone is demonstrating and I hope that you (someone or some of you) can appreciate that.
Many, many thanks in advance for any help!
Hi, do you have any ideas what went wrong with your phone now? I have the same feeling (something ist wrong, be afraid to be spyed and battery runs out very quickly nowadays). I have the same RUNNING like you wrote and com.androidstorageback.... is new on my device...
Hope you´ll answer, if you get some news!

I am having the same issues with my fone. I have almost no batt life now and some of the programs that was listed above I've found on my fone... can anyone help me find out what these programs are, who is behind them, and how to get rid of them and protect my phones privacy from this happening again? Please help. Thank u. I am on a galaxy s4...
I've even tried doing a factory reset and starting new but same things occur. My husband has been weird and thinks I'm up to no good but I think he's got a guilty conscious so... idc to spy on him I just want to know if it's him or who is behind the programs, what the programs are and how I can protect my phone from privacy breaches again in the future. I am going to point out now I am 27 and unaware and unlawfully being monitored if I am.
Have almost the same exact apps running on my phone. These apps have RIDICULOUS lists of permissions. I mean Jesus himself would be jealous of the abilities given to these apps. This is way to complex to be some commercial spyware, gotta be law enforcement, government, or hacktivists.
Edit: gonna type in an example of these permission sets. This is from the innocuously named Bluetooth Test. There are 30 plus apps showing almost identical permission sets.

- Assistant Menu
Has the Settings icon
- Automation Test
Android icon
- AutoPreconfig
Document with a Cog icon
- CapabilityManagerService
White board with Android/ Android icon on it
- com.android.providers.partnerbo..
Android icon and can't see full name of app
- com.android.sharedstorageback..
Android icon
- com.sec.android.app.FlashBarSe..
Android icon and can't see full name of app. This concerns me because of what I have read about some Spy apps installing as Flash something or other, but at the same time I believe this could relate to the Multi-Window / Multi-App function
- com.sec.android.app.minimode.r..
Android icon and can't see full name of app
- com.sec.bcservice
Android icon
- com.sec.phone
Android icon
- com.stri.golfviewer
Android icon and a very bizarre one. golfviewer ????? I have nothing at all relating to golf on my phone
- CSC
Document with a Cog icon
- DeviceKeystring
Android icon
- DropboxOOBE
I'm not sure I even noticed this one yesterday and although it has a Dropbox icon, it's not exactly the same as the standard Dropbox icon
- DSMForwarding
Icon is a blue screen I guess with a red arrow
- DSMLawmo
Icon is a blue screen like above but with a padlock
- Enterprise Sim Pin Service
- Enterprise SysScope Service
- Enterprise VPN Services
- Enterprise Permissions
All have the Android icon
- Exchange Services
Envelope with gold letter in it and @ icon on that
- FlashAnnotateSvc
Android icon and having read articles about anything relating to Flash where Android is concerned I get a little suspicious.
- Fused Location
Android icon
- Google Partner Set Up
Android icon
- HwModuleTest
Some sort of Android icon holding a white HW banner
- INDIServiceManager
White board with Android/ Android icon on it
- Interaction control
Settings cog icon
- Key Chain
- KeyguardBackupRestore
- KeyguardTestActivity
All Android icon
- LocalFOTA
Android icon
- LogsProvider
Android icon
- Manager accessibility
Settings cog icon
- MDMApp
Android icon
- Mobile tracker
Document with a Cog icon and I know that there is the whole tracking option through Samsung, but surely it would have some sort of Samsung icon if it were that
- MyScript Resource Manager
Android icon
- New enrolment
Blue circle with a device and arrow icon
- OM Customize
Android icon
- OMACP
Message bubble with
- PacProcessor
Android icon

- Preconfig
Document with a Cog icon
- ProxyHandler
Android icon
- Remote Controls
- Remote Controls
- Remote Controls
Adding this 3 times is not a mistake, I have it 3 times on the list. First 2 have the Android icon and the 3rd the White board with Android/ Android icon on it
- RilNotifier
Document with Cog icon
- RootPA
Android icon
- Samsung Camera Filter
Sits with all other Samsung apps but has an Android icon unlike all the others that have various Samsung icons
- Security policy updates
Android icon. I've seen some results on Google about this and the fact that it's been a concern for some users?
- Service Mode
Android icon
- Service Mode RIL
Document with Cog icon
- Settings
- Settings
Again, adding this twice is not a mistake as I have 2. They both have the Settings cog icon, but the first is slightly different in that it is not as bright in colour, i.e. it's faded a little
- Settings Storage
Grey cog icon and one that again I don't think I noticed yesterday
- SettingSearchProvider
Android icon
- ShareShotService
- Shell
- Silent Logging
All have the Android icon
- Software update
- Software update
Again no mistake it's listed twice as there are 2 present and both have different icons. Similar in that they are both green squares with a device and an arrow on each, but different in size, shape of device and arrow on the square background
- SyncmIDS
Server looking icon
- Tags
A Tag icon with blue waves on it
- USB settings
- USBSettings
Again two showing and different names in that they are exactly displayed above and both with the Android icon
- wssynccmlnps
Android icon
Ok, that's it and again I AM VERY SORRY for the length of this post, but I am just very concerned by some of the behaviours my phone is demonstrating and I hope that you (someone or some of you) can appreciate that.
Many, many thanks in advance for any help!

Hello, if there is a spy ware installed,it will have a be in a App. Unless you have root, you can exclude system apps. It has to be a App installed from outside. Then someome granted it administrator permission.....
this happened with me once, what you need to do is, reboot your device into Safe mode(check your device's forum for How To) and then go to apps(in settings) and remove all the unwanted apps. (Don't disable any system app as they don't get infected unless you have root...it's rare. You might find some apps with generic names (user installed apps...) Like Smart Booster, such apps don't usually have a UI, they run in the background, hidden. Remove all such apps.
This should solve your problem(if there is a spy ware...)
Me reading the app list doesn't make sense cause I don't know which apps are visible in you app drawer and which apps are hidden. You need to reboot to Safe mode and remove unwanted stuff...
Hope this helps you
Plz help! Ur not paranoid. What did u find out? Any suggestions?I have all those com.secmobile things too. i recieved a WAP SI push notification from a known hacker who lives 2 doors down. The message says
//LL:1563:1473279512830:YPB:XdjXgu0u8KCCaChbA9QMxVzILr8=:480221282:40VM61NC60NMH4PKFQ4OJZGN53X4DLNY
It was from 8737 google it but add 8737 spy. Its a company that sells tracking spying stuff. It cannot b removed. From all i heard. Ive filed police reports, ic3.gov,hell i e en went to fbi building!
He claims hes been recording me, spying on me, accessing my emails, texts, camera, passwords, messages for 8 months. . I know its true bcuz my accts gwt deleted, my passwords rwset daily. Ive bought 3 new samsungs. He moved out then demanded $2500.00 or my car or hed ruin my life by sending stuff to all my contacts. I heard from neighbors they get pics of me and transcribed conversations
Did anybody figure out what this is? I have the same thing going on with my phone and I'm freaking out! Please help!!
I've only seen one answer so far guys and he said the hackers would use a app. The part that caught my eye was he said the good apps u want to keep WOULD NOT have UI in front of them? If I read that right my heart just sunk cuz i've seen that somewhere on my phone. I've got a spider Web of a mess with all the file paths I have.
However - Guys, I understand that relentless nagging feeling u KNOW somethings up... (I did last weekend and finally caught it, just a stupid Facebook spam hack but it felt good know I wasn't crazy. But just keep remember to breathe - most of u soundsounded like u had chewed all ur nails off worrying. My mom worries about big brother and hackers and I just remind her, she's not that interesting. They have a middle class income and are normal. If someone is gonna hack they'd either go for super easy or super worth it right? U guys sound pretty security conscious so good luck!
Turn OFF.
NFC.
There lies your weird noises
Sue x
What if you cant remove the apps... there is no option to uninstall, just disable or force stop?
