How do I just get sound to come out of the earphone when it's plugged in?
I want to listen to music using "Pocketmusic" yet the sound comes out from both the earphones and the pocket pc speaker.
I'm running windows 2003 rom 4.01.16

Right now i'm using the headset that comes with the phone to listen to music, basically my Wing as an MP3 player for me, but the sound is a bit low even at high, so i was thinking maybe its cuz its a hands free and u dont want ppl yelling in your ear... so if i get a BT Headphones like http://cgi.ebay.com/MOTOROLA-S9-STE...yZ133229QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
or similar
will it be louder ?
Thanks in advance ( i like loud music )
Sooo... does any1 know if there is a difference in the sound ?
im using an htc 11pin to 3.5mm adapter with air sealed earbuds, but the sound is still lower than it would be with the headphones and an mp3 player.
I tried using the Headphone adapter yesterday but i had no sound..it did turn off the sound from the main speaker wheni pluged in the headphones but there was no sound..I an using DCD rom 3.2.6...also i know the head phones work anyone one have some ideas on why it might not be working?
I don't understand why my headphones sound amazing when connected to a computer or my ipod, but when it's playing the music on my aria it sucks. I'm not asking to make my phone louder or my speakers louder or anything. I just want to know why it sounds so bad connected to my headphones
Does it happen with any headphones or just that one pair of headphones?
Have you tried cleaning out the headphone jack on the phone? (i.e., check for any lint or anything stuck inside and pull out with tweezers)
1. Does the s3 have the audio Jack on top or bottom?
2. I briefly owned a s2 and when I had it connected to my fm transmitter I could hear it turning on and off via a somewhat loud pop....this was the case with calls and music / notification sound...it would ding for a txt then I could hear it shutting the audio Jack down....this compared to my vibrant where I never noticed it....could someone test it with headphones or computer speakers turned up loud?
I ask because the s2 was horrible during calls while headphones were connected. I had to hold it very close to be heard clearly. Not sure if it's all connected but hopefully this was worked out?

I have a Sprint Galaxy S3 and I have a pair of headphones with a mic. When I have the headphones plugged in and trying to make a phone call, the call audio plays through the phones speakers and not the headphones. When the call is over and the headphones are still plugged in the headphones no longer play audio. Audio plays through the phones speaker. I have to unplug and plug the head phones back in.
Anyone have this same problem ?
Its very strange but the only headphones I have found that work perfectly with the S3 are the included ones. I also have Ultimate Ears and Sure headphones with mics but they dont play well with the S3.
Have you tried the included ones? This does not solve your problem but out of curiosity.
