Sorry Guys , I know i amy be a bit dim , but has anone flashed done this upgrade to an Orange UK XDA2. ! if so are there any problems?
Is there a specific rom or do i have to try to figure it out myself?

There are lots of us who have flashed our M1000/XDA2 to SE on Orange UK. This link should help you:

It will give you a link for a UK extended ROM, then all you need is to pick a ROM version (2.02t is the best in my opinion!), make a folder with 2.02t files as well as the extended ROM, and run HimaUpgrade.exe. It will take about half an hour.

I had problems with and I installed Rom HTC.
As I always have problems, I want to put back Rom Orange.
For Rom HTC, it was easy because it was one file .exe
But for Rom Orange, it is a Zip with 4 files .raw
How it is necessary to make?

You downloaded a dumped rom, you can't flash this. You need a shipped rom, read the wiki.

I need to get hold of the original shipping Orange UK M3100 ROM, I have had a look at the RapidShare links here and the one posted is Romainian
If you flash with this All Connections/GPRS/ etc dont work, have tied setting up the comms settings from info available on the web.... no luck.
Only option is to reinstate the original ROM, anyone know were I can download this. Orange site has no link....

As far as I know, only the Romanian one is available.
I'm using the Romanian Orange ROM in the UK on my M3100 (believe it or not, it's the only one I've tried where everything works perfectly - if a little slower than I'd like).
I've got a T-Mobile SIM in mine, and to get the data connections working I had to remove all of the preinstalled Orange connections from the Settings menu, then I used a registry editor to delete all the remaining Orange connection bits which I think were in "HKCU\Comm\RasBook".
Once you've done that, try entering the Orange UK settings manually (as provided by mousey), and it should work?
Also Orange UK Have Never Released An Update To Their Shipped Roms So That Means Theres No Upgrade Tool And Therfore You Won't Be Able To Flash Your Device With A UK Orange Rom.

This is the same for a UK tmobile rom...there is no offical release so you will not be able to roll back to your shipping uk rom.

Go to your "Home Page" in IE, tries to go to orange.ro, also in regional settings it is set to Romanian
Could Someone Extract The Connections Settings CAB From An Orange ROM As This Would Be Really Helpful To Anyone Changing Their Phone Images.

that means I've sent Orange a PDA with the Romanian ROM... just as well it was a swap!
to be honest though... if that's the only customisation difference, it'd be trivial to rectify that by changing the setting post-install

I've finally managed to get WM6 on my 3100
However took the opportunity to dump the rom I was using before hand just in case...
This rom was the rom the phone was shipped with (UK SPV m3100), however I had used pof's v2 unlocker when I first got it to unlock it, would this have modified to rom in anyway? Or just the radio rom?
So I have a (what I believe to be) a UK m3100, I have a Part02.raw (written with no errors) if anyone would like to reconstruct it.

I've entered my number but the only options are to receive settings for Internet, Email and MMS. No firmware updates are available for the Vario II. (unless I've missed something?)

Sadly it will only allow you to download the wizard rom and not the hermes.

That ROM has Hungarian language settings and would show as the locale defaults i.e. date on today screen that when a hard reset is applied. I was also looking for an original UK ROM image and found one courtesy of the forums.
Thinking on is the default locale settings for a given ROM held in the extended ROM ? The reason I ask is that I flashed with a Hungarian image and then a UK ROM image, but the Hungarian locale settings are in play when a hard-reset is applied. Given I need to return the unit for a screen fault I obviously want to restore the unit to it's original state.

OK ... I try to claim my hermes, but I have flashed ROM there. So I think it would be best to flash there official ROM.
I have found link in the wiki for the ExtRom, but it's dead probably.
So i desperatly need your help.
What about your Telcos support site, they generally hae the firmware upgrade there for a long time. Would be best to check...

Hi I would like to unlock my TG01 (simlock orange UK). I bought a unlock code (vitamise), but there's no the screen where I can type it... When I'm rebooting and windows is ready to use I can see 'SIMUnlockP.exe cannot be opened' ... Could anybody reup this file for me? I have FFboy's 6.1 rom. Or any ideas?
