OK ... I try to claim my hermes, but I have flashed ROM there. So I think it would be best to flash there official ROM.
I have found link in the wiki for the ExtRom, but it's dead probably.
So i desperatly need your help.
What about your Telcos support site, they generally hae the firmware upgrade there for a long time. Would be best to check...

i read lots of information here on rom upgrade to XDA II, i currently have ver 1.60.00WWE english and i see that a new version exits but, the new version is for Tmobile or O2 operators.
i try to install the O2 version but give an error concerning "country ID"
anyone can help me to find a generic english rom upgrade that i can install on my xda2?

Yo should make a bit of research through the forum, there is plenty of instructions on how to do this and the best way to go.
I personnally recommend the Qtek Dangaard ROM. It's quite stable and free of "carrier customized" things. Just clean and fast. It's worth the try.

in fact i see lots of references here to the dagaard Rom and i even try the ftp site to make the downloasd. unfortunately i can't enter the site and i don't see any other place where i can find this famous rom.

There are lots of us who have flashed our M1000/XDA2 to SE on Orange UK. This link should help you:

It will give you a link for a UK extended ROM, then all you need is to pick a ROM version (2.02t is the best in my opinion!), make a folder with 2.02t files as well as the extended ROM, and run HimaUpgrade.exe. It will take about half an hour.

As I always have problems, I want to put back Rom Orange.
For Rom HTC, it was easy because it was one file .exe
But for Rom Orange, it is a Zip with 4 files .raw
How it is necessary to make?

You downloaded a dumped rom, you can't flash this. You need a shipped rom, read the wiki.

what have you guys done? try flashing other ROM before reading the post?
Anyway, original ROM is in the ftp, find it yourself.

I don't think anyone here has uploaded the T-Mobile UK ROM yet. I don't think it is currently possible to dump my ROM and for you to then flash your device with it. If someone knows otherwise, I hope you can prove me wrong!
Thx, I use the flash crash rom method to make the Ameo resume normal.
But actually I also wanna know how can I dump the rom out and upload for all brothers.
how do you use flash crash rom method?
you can find it easily in the same forum, using a tool to rebuild the rom and flash it , then the flash program prom the error, finally you can reset it and back to normal operation.
in what forum can you please assist?
