Hi,
About the QTEK2020 ROM:
------------------------------
My current ROM is the HI_TMNL_17200_190_11700_Ship from the official T-Mobile.NL site.
I want to upgrade to WM2003SE, where can I get this ROM ?
I downloaded some WM2003SE roms here, but always country ID error.
This can be fixed with a rom editor i read, but it looks complicated, if anyone could post me a link with the SE ROM link (or send me a short simple text to edit & modify a rom to clear the country error)
Thanks!
Innovator/Belgium
try this link
" Fix and prevent ROM upgrade/downgrade Country ID errors "
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=12101
and this
"Genuine English WM2003 SE upgrade for Himalaya uploaded here"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=13588
Hi Innovator,
try it this way:
Unpack the WM2003SE
Delete HimaClearJumpCode.exe and HimaGetDeviceData.exe
Start your XDA2 in bootloader mode manually
Connect the USB cable
Run the upgrade HimaUpgradeUt.exe
If it doesn't work, you need to get modified HimaUpgradeUt.exe, which doesn't check for countr/operator ID.
Or you can do it "traditional" way by editing all .nbf files manually.
If you'll run into problems, just let me know...
good luck

I'm now using T-Mobile ROM lastest version, and I want to try downgrade my ROM to 1.60 Asian Rom (o2), but i'm stuck at the stage 1 (erase rom) and then it skip to the final page where said "Error 112 CE ROM update error" I tried both O2 UK and O2 Asian ROM, it has the same problem, But when i try with T-Mobile, its work!!. Anyone have an ideas? btw, I change the header of device type from PH10B to blank , bcoz it would appear another prob--> model ID error
if your device is originally branded by t-mobile ... you have to modify the country ID in the ROM file to be T-mobile
use er2003edit
1. Clean Device ID in all oarts of rom
2.flash it
I've got the same problem just now :x . I know something about flashing myself  . Still I don't know how to "modify the country ID in the ROM" or how to "clean DeviceID in all parts of ROM". Where to look for step-by-step instructions :?: :?: :?:
Try this trick:
1. Get to bootloader (power+navi-key+reset)
2. Put device into cradle
2. Run update
maybe this helps :

Well first of all i like to say Thank You very mush to WAXX who helped me in upgrading my o2 1.66 to 1.72. Thanks You WAXX.
********************************************************
Well... firstly download this file came from WAXX.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/download.php?id=1261
After the download extract the zip file inside it, you shoul be seen 7 files.
I recommend you to extract it in desktop/new folder.
Plug the cradle in your USB.
Insert your XDA II in cradle
Run HimaUpgradeUT.exe, Then follow the steps.
if error appeared, remove the device in cradle and soft reset it, then run the HimaUpgradeUT.exe again.
if error appeared again do a soft reset again.
If no error then it will now smoothly running up to 100% of the proccess.
For me the process takes only 15 min. There are stage 1 to stage 5 for completion.
That's it.

Goodluck.. GodBless..

Hi
I downloaded the file and unzipped it, when i try the upgrade it says error 120 country id error. my rom is 1.60.00 wwe dutch what is the problem?
Thanks
I would strongly afvise anyone who wants to upgrade to use the 'manual; by dcs together with any ROM Upgrade to prevent (future) country-id errors.
see http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=62760#62760
double_ofour,
pare i certainly hope you modified WAXX's ROM to set your Device to O2, instead of CDL You may have had a successful ROM upgrade now, but setting your device to CDL has major implications for future ROM upgrades (Hint: You cant use official O2 ROMS).
Pare how can i convert CDL to o2? step-by-step please
Hi
I have a friend with I-mate and he does not really know how to upgrade to WM2003SE (me neither ), he said he got error 120 and some language error. Can somebody help?

I had the same problem, this is what I did:
1. Get GetDeviceData from http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HimaGetDeviceData and run it on your device, check the "\Windows\DeviceData.txt" file to find out what operator name you have (iMate is "CDL")
2. Get the "xda2nbftool" from http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=xda2nbftool to change the code in the rom
3. Then I got the "OperatorUpdate.zip" from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=13588&highlight=imate+2003se
4. and with all that stuff in the same directory as the rom update typed "OperatorUpdate CDL" to change the operator to CDL
5. then run the "HimaUpgradeUt.exe" from the 2003se rom at the start of this thread.
it worked 2003se! (note this may not be the easiest way, but it worked)

Hi guys, I'm VERY new here
I have a UK Orange SPV M1000 with the following details:
Operator Version: 3.66.1.230
ROM Version: 1.66.00WWE
ROM date: 02/20/04
Radio Version: 1.10.00
Protocol Version: 1337.18
ExtROM version: 1.66.230
I want to upgrade to 2003SE because of what I've read about improved battery, improved BT and widescreen use (and cos I just do )
I've downloaded the ROM and ExtROM from the massive 26 page topic further down the page but ran the .exe and got ERROR 120: country ID error.
Hmmm....
I looked through the forum but to be honest a lot of the stuff went over my head and 30 pages of topic is a lot to read through...
Can someone PLEASE put down a step by step 'idiots' guide to upgrading my ROM with links to relevant things i would need to download/install/whatever
I know I'm asking a lot but it would really help me and I suspect many other people who might look at the forum and leave after a few minutes with spinning heads.
Also, I've not been able to find any posts in reference to the M1000, only O2 branded and original HTC devices. Does this mean I'll have problems connecting to Orange and will need to set up GPRS connections, etc myself?
One more thing.... I have an original Orange 1.66 ROM (downloaded from the Orange UK website). If I mess things up, don't like it, have to send it back to Orange, will i just be able to run that ROM update and everything will go back to how it was?
Phew, long 1st post!
Thanks for reading!!!
I upgraded mine yesterday with the help of a post on getting round the country id, however bluetooth and camera didnt work so had to go back to old rom, so yes you can go backwards.
Hi, I'll try to help you.
Now unrar the files you have. There you'll find "HimaGetDeviceData" file. Copy this one in your PPC.
> Then run it from there. HimaGetDeviceData won't do anything.
> then go to Windows directory and search for file called "Device Data". Copy it to your PC and open it.
there you will found data for your USB, Rom version, this meen 1.66.00wwe, PH10, and the last two are very importaint.
They can be ...
first one O2, Qtek, CDL, TMOBILE. Remember your. This is your Operator.
Second one can be ... WWE, ENG, GER. This is your Language.
After this, you need to download ER2003Edit. You can find it in the forom.
When you install this run the program and open ms_.nbf file first.
You will se the operator and Language. Change them if they are different from yours. ( this is the O2, QTEK, and WWE, ENG ).
Save the ROM file ( CTRL+S ).
Do this with the other two NK.nbf and Radio_.nbf files.
Then run " HimaUpgradeUt " and wait for " Congratulations " and you're ready.
Oh, when you get the Congr... Do hard reset.
(dont wory if you see on the screen of your PPC Radio stack or something like this isupgrading "Please wait" do your hard reset. )
Sorry for the bad English.
If have any questions ask
Hope this will help.
Ok, I have ER2003EDIT installed but when i tried to open ms_.nbf and it said i had the wrong password and asked me to enter one.
Any idea what it could be??
Thanks!
I think that you must not use the autodetect ROM, but the specific filetype: ms_.nbf. This worked for me...
Hello everybody from Russia (Moscow).
My phone model is O2 Xda Neo (Germany)
I have used this
278638-ruu_prophet_215746_2157138_023021_qtek_rus_ship
RUU_215737_2157135_023021_QTEK_s200_RUS
and return back to original O2 Germany without problem.
But I have installed next:
RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship
Now I cannot install any other software. only this english version.
In install time (on 95%) I got next message
error 326: invalid command - the NBF file could not be used for your PDA phone - please check your NBF file
Boot screen has
IPL 2.15.0001
SPL 2.20.0001
The phone is ok. I can install this english version again, but I would like return to original German version or Russian.
I tried to use
pdamobiz.com_downgrade_and_unlockcid
and RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID
but it does not help.
Can you help, please?
piece of cake:
what do you need is
reCOOK the ROM using molski.biz devpack...
just be sure to remove the ipl/spl nb file after you've extract the nb.nbf file
downgrade
Hi,
I have searching for a long time and used so much tools to downgrade my Qtek S200 Pocket PC to JAMin_WWE_1000925_10009114_11420_ship.exe (SPL 1.xxx, IPL 1.xxx)
When directly run "JAMin_WWE_1000925_10009114_11420_ship.exe" I get this error: the NBF file could not be used for your PDA phone - please check your NBF file
JAMin_WWE_213923_2139123_022021_shi.exe ROM is not my solution. I need to change my IMEI. iWizard and Lokiwiz03a don't help me to change IMEI.
Can anyone help me how to do Rom Cooking for SPL 1.xxx?
http://www.molski.biz/ here the rom cooking program and it is complicated a little bit.
