Just wondering if anyone knows how i can configure my XDA (Wallaby) to receive emails instantly, in the same way as SMS, with a bubble.

Hi All,
after a pile of googling, I'm still trying to find an application which will send an sms based on an email and vise versa, so when the phone receives an e-mail it sends an sms, and when it receives an sms it sends an email.
Not sure if such an app exists, but i figure this is the best place to ask the question.

I am looking for a Android App which let me Send and Receive SMS via email.
Since i have to submit my mobile before entering my office so i am enable to access call and sms.if have found a app which Frwd sms or call alters to desire email id,but what i am looking for is app which also allow me to reply the sms sender via email.

Here's the app you are looking for. It will allow you to forward your texts to your email address, and you can reply to them from your email address :

I just received new SIII from work (upgraded to V4.1).
I noticed that the push notifications are late over 3G or WiFi.
When i receive a mail from exchange using build-in mail application, Touchdown or Moxier the emails are receiving late in compare to my colleagues phones (BlackBerry, IPhone). Even when I mark a message as read in the application - i must re-mark it again as read in the outlook.
More than that, I receive late push notifications not just in email but in Whatsapp as well, delay of 3 minutes in average. I can ensure it because i receive few messages at the same time.
Have you encounter such thing? do you know how to solve this issue?

Hello folks,
I'm looking for an email app with really persistent notifications, that is: instead of the single tone/vibrate notification when a new email arrives, I need it to keep notifying me periodically (say, once per minute) until I open the app and read the email, or at least clear it from the notification shade.
Can anyone recommend an email app that does that, or an addon/plugin/extra app that accomplishes the same thing?

MissedMessageFlasher (plus K9-Mail configured to the specific email account I need monitored) is exactly what I was looking for.

I hope some of you guys can help me with this one: I try to auto-dismiss certain Whatsapp notifications (say, all notifications of incoming messages by "Peter Petersen") by using tasker. But I cannot by the life of me get it to work. Has anyone already done something like that and could give me some advice or tips?
