I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 and I have ICS Crumble ROM on it and it is acting up, so I wanted to know how to revert back to stock rom or any better roms to use if i cant go back to stock rom. Thank You!
If you have clockworkmod recovery or something like that (Odin3 can be used for flashing too) you can use this stock ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574207) to revert back to your first official ROM.
Or you can try reverting it via Kies, Samsungs software for her galaxy devices. Just connect and click (somewhere in the menu's) an option that's sounds like fabric reset. It will download the latest stock ROM for your device.
And, of course, don't forget to make a backup of at least your internal SD-card. Just in case....
Good luck!

Ok I deleted my og nandroid then flashed a mod that had me stuck on SAMSUNG screen so I then went to restore my ogre android but I deleted it when I partitioned my sdcard, so I had to flash a custom Rom to get it to boot. My question is how if at all possible can I get back to strock out of the box form. I tried to use the method found here but it just flashes over custom rom....

You're in the wrong forum.
Read the sticky-post.
You can find all Samsung firmwares on samfirmware.com for flashing through Odin (Download mode)

I have a white i717 and I can't fix the insert sim problem. I know I'm not the only with this issue. I flashed a T-Mobile radio and tried to fix it and then went back to stock and now it says insert sim. I got my sim card updated so its new and it won't work again. I've read the only fix is to send it in but Im 2 months past warranty. Any help is appreciated.

How are you two months past your warranty when the phone came out a year ago, nearly to the day.
Find the modem thread and reflash the ATT radios. If that doesn't work, return to stock using ODIN and the instructions from the Return to Stock thread.

I got this message today after trying to flash the eye candy theme from a Verizon ROM.
I now know better than to try that again.
Here's how I fixed it:
First I tried to flash a backup ROM - not fixed
Next I odin the stock at&t gingerbread ROM - not fixed
Finally I Odin the stock at&t radio - problem solved
I am unsure if the stock gingerbread ROM was necessary though.
I currently use My flashed droid razr with stock ROM 2.3.6, GB. it is flashed to cricket. my first question is, when i use my safe ROM, will i still be on cricket? and my second question is, by wiping data/factory reset, will this delete the files i have on my internal or external memory for my unsafe/stock ROM? please answer back asap! Thanks!

Factory reset/Data Wipe will clean ur internal storage. Thats all.
It does nothing against ur SDCARD
I went ahead with it. And it didnt touch anything on my unsafe ROM. but on my new safe ROM I dont have 3g. What could be the problem? I still have it for my unsafe ROM.

Did you install a rom that is for something other then gingerbread 2.3? If installed a rom for ICS or JB then you will not have correct radios
