Just got my hands on an O2 XDA II. Being the curious man I am, I want to install the Special Edition Rom (if possible). Before I do it and end up wrecking my XDA II, I thought that one of you might be able to advise me. My question is - Will this file http://cuba.calyx.nl/~jsummers/XDA/XDA-developers-SER-v12.exe (found on the Special Edition Rom page) work with an O2 XDA II in the UK? I am on Orange. Cheers.
Sorry!
The Special Edition Rom is for the original xda NOT the xda2. Various ROM upgrades are available for the xda2 and these can be customised by changing the contents of the Extended ROM. There are many threads on the subject on this forum.
Happy reading!
Good job I asked! You may have saved my bacon (or my xda II more to the point). It's a tough job for a beginner to find the right file to use for an O2 XDA II on Orange (nudge hint).

This could well be the holy grail we have been waiting for,
If someone can get a hold of this, we can install it and see......
Thoughts please
...it is sooooo long, that i'm waiting for that... ;-)

Would O2 XDA IIi's BT v1.2 work in O2 XDA II?

Looking to choose between the One X and the S3.
Upgrading from the Desire. All the devs I'm used to seem to have moved to the One X.
Just wondering who will develop ROMs for the S3?
Never had a Samsung phone before so not familiar with the S2 devs.

Well Gadget Check who is the co dev of the best ever ROM for the SGSII said he will be getting a Galaxy S3 so there is just one of the leading developers who will be coming onboard.
The developers of SiyahKernel and NEAK and Chainfire have also already signaled their support for the S3.
The only question is, whether there will be one or two development threads like the S2.

There will be at least two because im sure the retarded US Carriers will want there own branded version to be different. I expect most developers however will either be buying the international version themselves or will be getting one from our community on XDA ... So if u want the most dev support I suggest the international version.

To each their own.
Sarcastic mode on
There will be no ROMS/KERNELS/MODS for S3 and it will rot in hell just like any other low activity devices.
Sarcastic mode off
As soon as i have source i will be cooking. Im an oldie not a newbie. I already have in works. Also i may put together a bulk buy for S3 if interested. I have business acquaintance's at Samsung corporate that can make this happen. The gods of ROM will squat on S3!
We will sort you out!

Have a happy day.
PS: you need improved search and reading skills to continue.
I want to trade my US Titan for a UK Version or a UK Android. Is there a forum for this purpose? I can't find it. Thanks.
Post the details in the want to sell forum on the main xda forum page, you will need to scroll down and it will involve using your mouse and possibly use of your eyes ;-p
Yes xda marketplace - google it.

Hi to both of you and thanks for the reply.
Seriously I was going crazy about this, especially after I saw your replies cause I still could not find it. I just learned there was a reason I could not find it. Apparently I have no access to that forum because I am too new here. Therefore it doesn't matter how much I used my eyes or scrolling with the mouse
I guess I will have to wait.
You might want to pm Dmac1984 to possibly make a trade on his unlocked UK titan phone. Check out this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1699600
Will do, thank you!
Title says it. Need a T-Mobile radio dump to get T-Mobile frequencies working for you guys. Thanks so much.
I want to give the community - especially the ones with a developer edition or ATT - a way to flash Tmobile radios
Please post the download link here and we can all test it out and see if it works.
This can be done with S-Off too! Please see this thread:

Well, I actually pmed the mods today and they created the t-mobile forum and thats so fantastic! However, I hope im not wrong when I say this but it looks rather pale of there right now since they just transferred all t-mobile related content over there. So, I think its still great to ask for help in all HTC forums except sprint lol. Lets do this! I'm all for it.
Btw, Im due to get my T-mobile phone in about 2 hrs and I wish I knew how to extract the radios from it! Then I can post it for you or others to test it. Can any pros show me how to extract the radios from the T-mobile phones? thanks alot
