I have a problem o upgrade my qtek2020. I tried to upgrade to wm2005, but because I could not sync with outlook, I downgraded again to win2k3se, version 2.06, ext rom 1.13 and radio 1.18. The funny thing is that the upgrade doesn't flash the exetnded rom. Only after a restore of my backup I find the extended rom back. But I want to have a clean copy of 2.06 without to the restore, because this is causing problems.
I can't find a solution in any forum.
Has anybody else having tese problems> Does anybody have a sol;ution?

Hi All, I'd ike to go back to an original HTC 5 or 6.1 ROM and need to restore the original bootloader. I've been to MrVanx's SPL downgrade guide but the custom wrapped spl downgrade files are 404.
Does anyone either have these downgrade files or another way to acheive the above?
You don't actually need to restore the original SOL to go back to WM5 or 6.1. Just run the flash file either on the pc or by the sd card method. SPL won't make a difference.

Not too long ago i tried to flash my spl to 2.8 in order to upgrade and flash some roms
Unexpectedly, it gave me some problems, so i want to try to re-flash the old spl and instead of sticking with winmo, i'll try to move on to android.
Is there a way to downgrade/flash back the old SPL?

I rooted my HTC Hero and loved it, but my digitizer is having some problems and the touch screen isn't responding well so I need to revert the phone back to its original state. Would simply flashing the original ROM do it? I'm on TELUS, the original version was 1.6.
Yes just flash the official ruu (rom) from htc and it should be back to the original state

hey guys, I'm sending my phone back due to crazy overheating and battery issues, but I need to first put everything back to stock before I ship it back to T-mobile. I'm currently using hspl 2.08 and illuminati's custom rom version 3.14
Is it as easy as downloading the stock version from htc's website and running it in boot loader? or do i have to do something else??
the last thing i wanna do is brick the phone before sending it back lol.
Flash the stock ROM via SD card, this will replace HSPL with the original SPL.
As easy as that.
