Hi , i cooked a rom to change language everything works now BUTTT!!!!
the device doesn t conect to activsync anymore , the comptuer detects it on usb ''unknown device'' activ sync does not !!!
i cant even use the phone any more either .
Can someone please help !!!

I have the tmobile pocket pc 2003 but when i connect it to my pc it doesn't detect it... i don't know wat to do... i need it to connect so i can unlock it.. well any advice will help....
how do you plan to unlock it through the PC ??
It's enough to copy xdaunlock.exe to your device and run it ... unless you have RSU 6.2x whicj will require you to down grade it first.

i lost the cd's dat came with my tmobile pocket pc and i need to put the special edition rom... but i have the activesync software and outlook but it still won't connect through activesync... wat am i supposed to do? i can't just use the unlocker program b/c it's rom version 4.01.16 ENG... please help...

Try downloading the newest version of Active Sync (3.7.1). Than synchronizing should work with your Device....

i do have the newest version of active sync... and during the setup when it tries to detect my pocket pc it says dat there is nothing connected... i don't know wats wrong.. it works on my friends computer...

their usb were always somewhat waco
it's ME and it was working on a XP but my laptop that had XP is not working so i can't use it.. i wasn't able to unlock it with my other laptop before it broke so can anyone tell me if i can fix the usb problem or if it's a different problem?
maybe windows update or some driver update from the laptop makers site

if your computer doen't recognize your pocket pc device for some reason, you can go to control panel select user accounts and create a new user. Then restart your computer with new user name. Try and let me know if it solve your problem.
The problem is in the cable .
my phone now without software, and when i want to connect it with the personal computer via cable it dosn't connect
what ever in the past i was used bluetooth device to connect with pc
but after the format I cant use it.

hey every body i have an prophet and its cant connect on the pc using activsync 4.5 or 4.2 also 4.1?? cuz i wanna to make an upgrade but (usb not rycognized) is appear every time i connect it so i cant cuz of this problem.

When I bought my Prophet (2nd hand) it was as a sh*t....and I decided to change / upgrade the ROM. After this it was impossible to connect to activesync and.......tachan!!! it was the usb cable!!! there are some usb cables unable to connect some devices (as my bluetooth GPS) and I changed the cable....all perfect!
Maybe is this your problem. If it is not the answer maybe you can try to change the ROM and try and try....

so they dont allow to come with a phone that has a camera =)
so i didnt use my HTC HD2 for a month now =)
I noticed a new ROM wanna try it.
BUT >!< when i plug my phone to the USB ( to the back of my comp ) click on ActiveSync ... And nothing happens
-= did almost every thing i could ... restarted deleted the soft on the windows 7 ( with PErfect Uninstaller ) installed it again / Restarted my comp

Try Windows Mobile Device Centre instead of ActiveSync.

what i have on my pc ( windows 7 ) Device Center v6.1
and still ... no response when i try to sync....
( i searched the web little bit, some say they have the same problem but with Evo, seens 1-st of Junuary 2011, sounds not real .. but still )
You don't need to manually run ActiveSync on your phone, it should start automatically when succesfully connected to your computer.
Silly question, but do you get a new external hard drive when you plug in your phone to the computer?
Does WMDC show your phone connected?

i have made a FORMAT to my comp
20 minutes and i got a clean new windows 7...
30 minutes done drivers ...
i wish i knew what WAS the problem ....

no idea for win 8.1 , but you can try this.

it is probably a driver problem and generally happens in win8/8.1, when you perform updates in windows.
NOTE : make sure that you are not trying to connect the phone to usb 3.0 or above, the last time i checked, our phones does not support such connection.

if you have flashed some ROM, and it changes the device id, like LT27i to LT27a ( check it in settings ), then installing proper drivers of flashtool might correct your problem.

i tried it all but i remember week ago i use duplicate charger then it short circuit and second day when i connect my mobile in pc its not recognize only charging show

try connecting your phone with win xp/7 pc ( any friend's or neighbor's ). if the device is not recognized as a peripheral even once in any and all of the pc, then you should get the usb port checked. lets hope everything is all right !
connect your phone in xp/7 and look for any drivers installing notification in task bar.
if not, go to device manager and look for the device in all usb ports the pc has.
i suggest you to try this in 2 computers. if any one has ubuntu ( or any other linux distro ), you can try that too.

thnkx bro but already try its but no result only charging start when i connect my sola in pc i think i fried my charging port and bootloader plssa give me any procedure for fix this problem and my sola is now running carbon rom cm11 but i wanna go to ics then i want help plss help me and sorry for my bad English
