I'm an atom exec user. last couple weeks my atom exec could not sent any SMS or MMS. at first I tought it because of my windows mobile that I 've upgrade from WM6 to WM6.1. than I change my WM6.1 to any others WM6.1, every time I change my WM (format),at first all services are OK,both SMS & MMS. but after I reconnect my atom exec to my PC using ActiveSync, it always happen again,the SMS & MMS does not work.
my atom exec won't be able to send or receive any messages.
My atom exec always connect to my PC when i'm home or office.
Master, would you help me on this disturbing issue?

Hello, you can use the FRING. It has SIP, too. It is true there are many others protocols in FRING, but you needn't use it. Just easy, use only SIP protocol...
Thanks, but I found a way here in the forum to use the WM 6.1 integrated Voip function.
Do you mind sharing how did you do it ?

Hello all,
Since 1,5 week i have the HTC s740 (rose), so i am experimenting with it these days.
At home i have wifi-access. My internetconnection can also be used to call with (with a normal phone). Therefore there are some settings in my modem.
Now i want tot know if there is a way to install an app on my HTC, put the sip settings from my internetaccount in there and call with my mobile phone instead of my normal phone.
the tool i found at xda presents an error, in a moment i am going to try Fring, but any tips a welcome.

But no matter what I can not load the SIP server configuration. Anyone has a .cab config that works on the HTC Rose?

I bought my Rose in November last year, when it had just been released. It's my first smartphone, I'm very happy with it, and I was very happy to find this forum. I'm looking forward to learn new tweaks and tips for my phone, and getting some problems solved.
My first issue with the phone is rather pressing, so I will start with that one.
Since a few days back, I can no longer read or send text messages. I can see the list of messages, and read the first line of each, but when I try to read them in full, there is just a blank screen. The same happens when I try to write a new message from scratch. I don't know why this happens. My only theory is that it has to do with the memory, a few weeks ago I got a warning that the SMS memory was almost full. I deleted a lot of messages after that. However, I just realized that those messages were never deleted. Then I found the "empty deleted messages" option in the menu, and tried that. But still, when I entered the inbox the next time, the deleted messages were back again.
So my guess is that the problem has to do with the full memory, but I don't know. Could anyone help me with this problem, or should I go back to the store?

You can always try a hard reset before going back to the store.
I wondered when see the htc s740 in iran, kish island ; i had before imate jam , tytn and tytn 2 and now have both tytn 2 and htc s740 . s740 is first smartphone and i have not imagination of it's menu and interface . however worked this and now is my favorite mobile becase of good speaker and 1234... keyboard .
But Since of buying s740 i have a problem in sms date !!! for example from one operator sms sent in 1 pm and this recived at the same time (1 pm), but in mobile write sms recivied 5:30 pm :-?? and other operator if sms sent and recived in 1 AM , mobile shown 4:30 PM !!!!! before this, i seen this problem in nokia 6131 and 5310 !!!
i have not this problem whit tytn or tytn 2 . please help me for this BIG problem !!!!!

Hi,
does anyone make Internet Calling work on Rose? I have Rose with genuine ROM, unlocked from the box and have in settings Internet Calling option. I have tried to make SIP setting from tread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299950 but I have problem, I could not install any CAB file I made, anytime I received an error "installation of VoIP.cab was unsuccessful". So, does anyone know where is the problem, why I cannot install .cab file?
Or are there another way to make Internet Calling VoIP/SIP working?

fring? I am having trouble with wm6.5 but I think your using 6.1 so you should be fine (I think). If there is anything else just let me know
No Fring. It is disaster... Latency, Jitter... If other side starts to speak I cannot hear anymore couple seconds, one have to listen and another to speak. But clearance is 20%. This is not even decent.
