i noticed tat my friend who has a XDA 2 had alota cool stuff in his xda, but he told me tat he juz installed the rom from here n hadent installed any other stuff... so i was wonderin if i sorta 'upgrade' my xda2i wif the latest xda2 rom? only thing im curious of is if the wifi connection will hav problems, n where can i download the latest rom?

Hmmm....Now let me get this clear.....U have an XDAIIi,and ur friend have an XDAII.....now u saw ur friends phone(with all those cool stuff),and now u want to WALK BACKWARDS???!!!!!! :shock:
Now back to the subject,i think,besides that it's impossible to put a Himalaya ROM in an Alpine device(wich u do not need at all),all the cool stuff u saw in ur friend's XDAII were softwares install(wich u can also install).....and the fact that he just upgraded from here when his phone got full of utilities,makes me beleive that all he did was installing one of those cooked EXT ROM u can find in here(most probably toenailed,xda2jojo and sin merged.....it's one of the best :wink: )....
So my friend,as a conclusion,u can have ur friend's cool stuff only by installing softwares,or even making ur own EXT ROM....read the wiki to learn more.... :wink:

i m also searching for this rom since 6 months
but i can't found it. the available rom is not usable for us don't try to flash it.
only service center give u this rom but the don't give any one.
if u got any time plz inform me

sure man....i'll let u know...whenever i get this....
actually couple of days ago my phone got bricked by flashing some ROM for p3400i, than i tried everything to make it alright.....but nothing worked...
thn i hd to give my phone to HTC service centre...
they fixed my phone in just some hrs....cuz they hd the original ROM
so i also wanna hv this ROM, or wnna keep backup of this...so that in any chance , my phone again get bricked...i can fix that only by flashing original ROM.
still m wondering if anyone here has this Indian version of HTC GENE's WM5 Rom.

buddy i have bricked 3 motherboards when my phone was in under warranty so i scared so much.but if i got original rom i will defenatley cook my own wm6 rom
because rom available here has a lot of problems.
where are u from???
talk to any service center guy and offer some bribe then i think he give u rom.
i offer someone here but he is not a good man! hope u can do anything in this matter. plz email me ur phone no or ur orkut id if u have thanks!!!!

this rom is not new for us.this rom is for p3400i and wm6 with new spl ,ipl
if anyone flash this rom on p3400,this will **** the device so
don't ever suggest anyone to flash this rom .

Mind your language since you are in valuable forum.
If you want to flash this to P3400 you can do that too. Take out .nbh file and flash with RUU.
If you don't know any thing properly, please do not make any false statements.

gene ht7xx devices comes in 2 types
1st
spl/ipl/os is 1.07.000
and second
ipl/spl/os 1.10.000
and this rom is ipl/spl/os 1.17.000
this rom is built on 12-march-2008
so what how can u say that this rom is for p3400 ???????

Use these if you want stable WM6.1 ROMs:
- My Little Green or this one (21057) from our great chef, Bikirtibi (you can find his WM6.5 branches in his signature too)
- 21056 Stock... from Xsite
WM6.5 ROMs are also stable enough.
With a little search you can find many more ROMs.
