[Q] The EXACT bands of Nexus 9 LTE

I searched many times of websites on the lte bands of nexus 9 lte, but no, I've not got an exact spec of the lte bands that Nexus 9 LTE supports.
Until now I've got details of it from ht##tp://ww##w.bh##photovideo.c##om/c/product/1087410-REG/htc_99hzj002_00_nexus_9_volantis_32gb.html which the bands are
2.5G (EDGE, GSM/GPRS) MHz:850, 900, 1800, 1900
3.5G (HSPA+, UMTS/WCDMA) MHz:850, 900, 1700, 1900, 2100
3.5G (CDMA2000, EV-DO) MHz:850, 1900
4G (LTE) Bands:1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 17, 19, 25, 26, 41

Now I'm sure whether this is right, are they the exact bands of Nexus 9 LTE?
I've got a Nexus 9 LTE from US to China, all three carriers have deployed either TDD-LTE or FDD-LTE, so I'm wondering whether I can use the LTE network with Nexus 9 LTE in China.
According to the specs above, it seems that it would work at TDD-LTE band 41 which China Mobile supplies, but I only got an EDGE with the 4G-SIM card inserted.
However China Unicom gives FDD-LTE band 3 network and China Telecom gives FDD-LTE band 1 network. Only lack of experiments.
The supported bands might be different depending on where the device is bought.
From the HTC site: http://www.htc.com/us/tablets/nexus-9/
Network (see note below)
2G/2.5G - GSM/GPRS/EDGE:
850/900/1800/1900 MHz
3G - WCDMA:
850/900/AWS/1900/2100 MHz with HSPA+ up to 42 Mbps
4G - LTE:
Bands 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,20
NOTE: Network bands in regions may be different, depending on the mobile operator and your location. 4G LTE only available in select countries. Upload and download speeds also depend on the mobile operator.
Built-in memory and connectivity vary by model. Wi-Fi only Nexus 9 features 16GB memory, and LTE Nexus 9 model features 32GB. Please see your local carrier for complete details.
data point for you: i have t-mobile spec nexus 9 bought in us. in hong kong a csl sim shows lte data status. speedtest showed 20mbit up and 20mbit down so i think its working fine. csl web site said bands 3 and 7 iirc.
csl web site: https://www.hkcsl.com/en/index.html
I actually clicked more than one website to bring you this info.
CZ Eddie said:
Looks like it's back in stock at store.htc.com for $359 for the LTE.

So from my Internet searching, here are the differences between the Nexus 9 LTE International vs. the USA device.
Nexus 9 Part# 0P82200 (EU/ASIA) handles LTE bands 1,2,3 ,4,5,7,8, 20
Nexus 9 Part# 0P82300 (US) handlesLTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 17, 25, 26, 41
What does this mean to us in the USA?
It means that if you buy the USA Nexus 9 then you're good to go for all USA major carriers.
But if you buy the International Nexus 9, then you're hurting yourself as follows:
Verizon missing band 13 (which it uses for most of its LTE).
AT&T missing band 17.
T-Mobile missing band 12.
Sprint missing all LTE bands.
US Cellular missing band 12.
Here is a list of what USA carriers use which bands:
http://www.droid-life.com/2015/02/0...sm-cdma-wcdma-lte-verizon-att-sprint-tmobile/
Oddly enough, the HTC USA website indicates that the Nexus 9 LTE it sells is capable of only the International bands listed above.
So I called HTC @ 866 449 8358 on 12/26/2015 @ 12:30PM CST and spoke with "Daniel" who advised that if I'm in the USA and purchase from the USA HTC website, then I will be shipped the USA version of this tablet.

Nexus 9 LTE version - does LTE band 20 (or 8) actually work?

According to the HTC websites the supported LTE bands of Nexus 9 LTE version are: Bands 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,20
But when testing where only band 20 is available (using the Telia operator in Sweden) it only gets 3G. If I try the same SIM-card in my Galaxy S4 i9505 I get full signal strength of LTE/4G on band 20 (verified using the service menu).
I also tried the Tele2 operator which actually showed LTE service, but from using it in my S4 again it seems that band 7 was the strongest band in that place. When I tried Tele2 in another place which should have LTE coverage on at least band 8 and possibly band 20 it again showed 3G... (I didn't try it in the S4 as I didn't bring all the tools and adapters to use the annoying NanoSIM standard).
So does band 8 and band 20 actually work on Nexus 9? Otherwise it's going back to the shop because the lacking 4G support is not acceptable.

LTE problem

I bought mate 10 lite 5 days ago from Lebanon and when I'm back to Egypt my home land I discovered that the device LTE bands are not compatible with the network in Egypt.
Is there anyway to solve this issue, or add bands or customize it
My phone is L21
Thanks in advance
The bands covered are a function of the chipset, not the firmware - so there's no possibility of upgrading/modifying/customising your existing device.
According to GSMArena, there are two versions of the Mate 10 Lite - one (presumably the variety you have) which covers LTE bands 1, 3, 7, 8 and 20, and one which is more international and covers LTE bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28, 38, 40 and 41.

2CC 8A_20A Carrier Aggregation combination support in UE Huawei mate 20 pro

It is very difficult to find the 2CC carrier aggregation with band B8 and B20 combination with any Mobile device.
We have tested with Huawei Mate 20 pro device but no success, can you please confirm Huawei Mate 20 pro device support band combination as per 3GPP 8A_20A.
I'm sure this Huawei model doesn't support low band CA. Only Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 support low band CA.
Here is database of supported carrier aggregation combinations per device https://cacombos.com/ but your device is not listed. But example Huawei Mate 20 X 5G and Huawei P40 Pro 5G doesn't support 8A_20A.

Help: I bought a Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5g SM-N986N (Korean LG U+ Variant) I live in the Philippines. Will the 5G work in my country?

Hope someone can give me advice. I have 5g in my house, my wife uses an IPHONE 12 promax and it can detect 5G but my device cant. can anyone help me please?
I'd like to up this too. I bought a Korean single sim phone with band n78 but it cannot detect 5g while my wife's IPhone 12 can. Any advice? Tried doing the quickshortcut app technique accessing the 5g signal manually but it won't select it for some reason
Check your SIM card or contact your carrier for help.
hi! Globe uses 5G NR/NSA n78 Band, which the korean varian SM-N986N supports.
Globe also provided information for foreign visitors who would like to hook to their infrastructure while visiting Ph. (see link below. don't mind the partner carrier)
5G Technology for Mobile - Globe
5G technology is the next generation of wireless internet connectivity that offers faster speed and more reliable internet connection than ever before.
www.globe.com.ph
if SM-N986N can't see the 5G network while other locally bought phones can, chances are 5G NR/NSA n78 band isn't available in your area and other phones hook through other 5G bands, or your sim card does not support 5G services.
i wasn't able to verify this when I went back to Ph, since my current provider's partner network is Smart
