i want to downgrade from the diamond 1.2 rom to my original t-mobile rom 1.72
I have the country id error and i did everything just like it says in de sticky topic about country id errors but i doesn't work!
here's some information of my divice
bootloader 1.03
currently 2.06wwe
himaupgradeut htc version 1.2.0.0
the diamond rom is 02 so i changed the rom to 02, but it didn't help!

Sorry mate... Doesn't WORK either!! This still CHECK the ROM and PROVIDER!! As long as it contains HimaGetDeviceData, it will be checking the ROM and PROVIDER. Still get ERROR 100 : MODEL ID ERROR!!
This probably because the different BOOTLOADER!! Looks like waiting for "GENIUS - itsme" to fix this problem.

I have Bootloader 1.06, with 1.72 tmob WWE ROM, Qtek 1.58 Frensh Extended ROM, and Radio 1.06

Does anyone know how to upgrade the bootloader on an xda2. Have a number of units with old roms (1.02) which we want to upgrade to 1.72 rom image. The rom updates but not the bootloader. Problem is the unit i use to build the rom images i use is a 1.02 bootloader and a desperatly need to upgrade this.

I have bootlooader v1.01 and I had these opsystems on my device with no problem:
v1.3 ger - o2
v1.6021 wwe - qtek
v1.6036 wwe - t-mobile
v1.66130 wwe - qtek
v1.72126 wwe - imate

v2.0600 wwe - o2
and now win2005 mobile
so why would / want to upgrade?
afaik higher the bl version harder to downgrade / play around (correct me if I am wrong)

If you read around the forums you would have read that there is currently no way to unlock the CID for free. Only way is on www.imei-check.co.uk for £20. We are currently working towards a soltuion however.

This is my first post but with many questions ...
I've a G4 Qtek 9100 (provided by french mob. op. SFR) with the following config :
SPL/IPL : 2.17.0001
Radio : 02.07.10
OS : 2.17.7.6 (ROM 2.17.7.6 FRE / Ext ROM 2.17.7.8030)
Rom date : 2/21/06
Protocol : 413.1.03
I've SIM-unlocked this G4 with lokiwiz03a to use it with Orange in France.
Now first step I would like to remove all SFR config and load the french Orange one -> to do that do I need to remove averything in the current ext rom (with TC for instance) and replace it by the following ext rom "ext ROM OrangeSPV M3000 -1.3.1.105-FRA" ?
However I read that first I need to unlock the ext ROM, how can I do that, do I need a special tool ?
Second step I will probably change the ROM with the following one "RUU_Prodigy_2170706_21707106_20710_QTEK_FRA_Ship" after having CID unlocked my G4 using imei-check.co.uk. However will I need to reload the Orange ext ROM ?

I have a TMO g4 MDA. Now am I correct in that any roms I do load will not get the ext_rom? Just the tmo ext?
Seems that somehow the Tmo ext rom is there even after I add my own or molski's or anyone elses rom.
