XDA Touch Screen - XDA II Unit - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 ROM Development

Hi, im quite new so and help would be great!
Would it be possible to replace an XDA Touchscreen Unit with that of an XDA? I have an XDA II with a broken screen and a XDA that works fine?
I know that the XDA II Screen is 65k and the XDA screen is 4000+ colours, would that be a problem?
Cheers

Will XDA IIi ROM work in XDA II

I have heard the the XDA IIi finally has a decent Bluetooth Manager. Is it going to be possible (with some help from XDA Developers) to upgrade the XDA II to use it?

Where can I get a black shield/glass overlay

I'd like to use my s3 with black glass rather than opening it up and losing warranty

I don't know who said it was delicate but I dropped mine screen down without so much as a scratch. Doesn't seem very delicate to me...

Performance is good,no glich, for me it is great phone...
Firstly tell us the model available to you.
They have different screen sizes, different cameras, some have NFC, some have Gorilla Glass.
The SoC and screen resolution are the same, though.

The screen IS glass.
The screen is made of Gorilla Glass, so it's tougher than our iPhoney counterparts. I wouldn't get this, buy the new F3, that's what I'm considering. That or the G2 if I can convince my mom aha! xD
Model available in my country is 765

This one has NFC, 4.7 inch screen, 5MP camera and doesn't have Gorilla Glass (please correct me if I'm wrong, guys).
But Gorilla Glass only diminishes the scratches. The glass resistance, if the phone falls to the ground, is basically the same.

In different markets, LG offers four different variants of this phone, with model number P760, P765, P768, and P769. The differences are: P760 and P765 are identical except one has NFC while the other does not; P768 has 8MP camera (others have 5MP); P769 has 4.5 inch screen and a different processor. (others have 4.7).
P760 have NFC,765 doesnt.

If you like custom roms i wouldn't recommend getting this phone. Get an s2 which have lots of support.

There have been a number of identical posts some suggestion it was the suckers used re the glass .
Suggest you return to the vendor .
So you mean the Glass is not Original?
