Hi Guys
When will we see the wm5 rom up again. I have requested from few guys here for the wm2k5_106a. Rob Pennington denied me and even doubted me afraid that I'm someone tracking him.
I looked around ftp search engines and torrents to no vail. P2P too slow and two days I've got only 50kb.One guy care to send me but it was corrupted. I itched to test the latest wm5.
Anybody can do the favour of sending it to me personally? Very much appreciated.
all 2k5 versions and other software written by me, themes by xda2jojo, registry and bootloaders stuff by toenailed will be very soon (monday ?) available on http://buzzdev.net
site is still in alpha phase, so don't expect miracles yet...

Hi want to ask all the expert here,after i upgrade to 1.60a.00WWE WM2005 then the storage only 14.54mb but the program have 120.32mb and after i turn on flight mode then i can't turn it off unless do the soft reset

you need to install 1.17.00 radio rom.

there are also many other web sites dealing with PPCs, editing ROMs etc...
...and then,there is no more 2k5 development on this site AFAIK (at least for last few weeks)

Finally... a good news after a couple of weeks mourning :!:
In fact I'm back to WM2K3 SE since the 'best thing' in the forum got shutdown.
I miss the Friday upgrade announcements, the download from the FTP & the weekend resets on my device. Hope the FUN begins again & soon.
Keep up the good work Buzz, Toe & Jojo & let us know how we can be of any help if needed! :wink:

and maybe the people who made the french version of 2005 from the english one

well my opinion, viruses are made by malicious people who want to ruin the day of other people. it is true as of now there is no know viruses for the ppc but as we know it is still run by programs so virus is a possibility, but the fact is
1) ppc's are not really a general masses type of device unlike nokia and other "mainstream" cellphones, why waste your time making a virus when only a measly handful of people will get affected, and not at all times I might add.
2)there is not much to ruin with viruses on a device like ppc so there is really no point in making a virus that is worth the effort.

YES he is using the manilla but with windows 6.1, you can find the manilla cab somewhere in the forum, just search for it "qvga manila"

I was relatively happy with my i-mate ultimate 8502 till I dropped it and the display broke.
As I'm against buying new stuff if you can at a reasonable price fix something, I'm asking if anybody is willing to sell almost altrusistically a display or even the whole phone? We could do it through the normal channels (paypal, google, ebay,whatever). Or in person, I'me based in Spain.
