Call duration infos... how to reset counters?

I installed new roms many times but I dont know how to reset the call duration counter (Settings>Device Information>Call Duration).
Please if anyone know tell me how i can reset it
This has now been officially added to the FAQ
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde...etx20.thex20.callx20.durationx20.countersx3f.
I will give you my answer here :
As far as I know nobody has found a way. There has been thread about the counters jumping to extreme high values. But no clear solution has been given to set them to 0.

Yup... my ROM from ZeroX shown 'UNKNOWN' after soft reset.
Not always, but after repeated soft reset.
Very easy.
You can set back call duration as you want
While the phone connected, you set the clock back, save and hang up your phone. Now Outgoing time is changed.
example, Outgoing: 14h32min, and it's 11:30AM, simply set clock to 1:30AM, Your Outgoing will be back: 4h32min
You can do it same with Incoming, but this time you have to use another phone call to your phone
To test Outgoing, you can call to Service center because it's free,
To test Incoming, you can connect to GPRS
Caution:
If you set back more than your Counter, it will show million hours but you can set it back

Outgoing---0 hr. 0 min. 43 sec.
have you tried checking the call timers from phone/call history/tools/call timers? it didnt clear the "all calls" usage
hi folks,
Just for my curiosity, why would anyone be interested in reseting the calls timers ? .. I couldn't find any "innocent" benefit
If you want to monitor your monthly usage, i believe there are many s/w for this purpose.
call timer
you can reset timers using the registry editors ..
(for the phone \call history\tools \timers problem )

I know for the himalaya there is another way to reset call timers according to the Service Manual XDA II :
bootmenu : Power/Action & Reset, use navigation up/down : Item 13 : CLEAN TALK TIME.
I don't know if this is possible with JASJAR. but my guess is that there must be something similar.

I don't think that's possible but I'll be monitoring to find out if it is, that'd be sick. Good luck.
If Conference Calling is available from your carrier, have you ordered it?
I just wish that I could go back to the 1st caller after ending call with 2nd caller.....
first call someone as you normally would
then once the call is established press the send key in the bottom left hand side
you will here a tone(other caller will note be able to hear you at this point) dial the next number and press the send key and wait till the pick up
then press the send key and all three people will here each other
give it up CDMA phones are not like GSM phones they dont support conference calling correctly the swap and join call functions arent available! they wont even appear on the phone u have to keep pressin send to switch b/w callers and conference mode...now lets make the situation even worse when your switching b/w these modes the touch pro WONT'T display on screen who you're talking to!! so you could be saying something to the wrong person or even worse the caller on the other line could be on conference hearing all callers without u knowing!!...my advice just call the person bak when your call is done.

Call waiting popup message

as most of us would know, on most phones, when we call a person and that person is on a call, a message pops stating that the person is on a call or shows waiting.. this important feature is missing in my X10 and due to this I keep calling the person without knowing that he/she is on a call..
any idea how to solve that?
Same Problem here
i think that this problem because the roms .. the stock do notify me but with wolf's and freex .. no alert for call waiting !!

Call waiting when 3rd party is on the call.

Hello
I'm not being notified if I call someone and they're on the phone. I should be receiving a call waiting notice, anyone know how to turn this on please
I have a Galaxy SII
2.3.4
Thank You
Go into the dialer and depending on the rom it will be somewhere in the settings. Mine's in dialer/settings/settings/incoming call status/call waiting.
And frankly, this is pretty basic. You should be able to find something like this by going thru every setting on your phone. I know that's the first thing I do when I get a new phone :-/

i have done the setting which you have mention but still when i call someone on there cell phone, it should come up with " Call waiting" meaning that the person is already on the phone who i am calling
Hepe i explained it right
Thank you
Hang on. If you call someone who's already on a call, you should get an engaged signal and probably number busy or similar on the screen. That has nothing to do with call waiting, call waiting happens when you're on a call and a 2nd person tries to call you. You should get a beep or similar to tell you there's a 2nd call for you.
If you call someone who's already on a call, you should get an engaged signal and probably number busy or go to there voice message if there don't have call waiting setup.
If there have call waiting setup then you should see on your screen "waiting"
Sorry
I think this is a service provider thing. It works on Vodafone but i am T-mobile
Anyone has any thing before i call t-mobile

[Q] 2nd call/Call waiting

is theres a way i can silent the sound when u r on ur phone and theres a 2nd call it makes a sound... how can i mute that annoying thing
Probably settings, call, call alerts, alerts on call, none.
Or turn off call waiting, since you won't know there's a call waiting anyway.
thanks what happen is that when im talkin to someone and theres a 2nd caller the 1st person heard the beep of the 2nd call and thats plain annoying
But that's the whole point of call waiting, to notify you someone is trying to call you. Lol

hahha hillarious let me refrase u know when u receive a call and u hit the volume and it mute the ringtone well i want that but for my 2nd call waiting that aint happenin when im in a call and i receive another it just keep beeping till the person hang up and the person that im talking heard the beep too something that aint good with the gf
there has to be a way to mute rigth after the first beep or something
Only you (as receiver of the second call) should be notify of the 2nd call.
But very often the person you are speaking with hears beeps too.
exactly is annoying im now on criskelo 4.0.3 xxlpq and it does exactly what i want only i heard the beeps props for criskelo
