Anybody here any rumors if the Netherlands T-Mobile Site is going to get an official upgrade out for us MDA II guys? After all the 1.60.36 has pretty much sucked.
Just checked for you on the T-mobile nl site but still the old 1.60 version...
You'll have to wait a little longer...
Thanks. can't read Dutch.
Hi,
I've a Dopod 696 on the way into my hands, which has a Chinese WM2003 ROM in it..being from china, of course.
Would like to get the unit into English software, and being in Asia, I am wondering which ROMset should i be using? Hopefully retaining some local operators etc. I'm not particularly famillar with the XDA II because i am currently using a XDA I but it shouldn't be much of a learning curve.
Dear All,
I have been reading (with great interest !) all the posts on upgrading an XDAII to WM2003SE and must admit that I am still a little confused about the Country ID bit.
Does country id actually only mean O2 or QTEK etc. or does it pertain to Australia, USA, UK etc.
In summary, if I have an O2 XDAII running with TELSTRA, what do I need to do?
Many Thanks in Advance!!!
After having been able to get in touch with QTek France, they pointed me towards HTM.
HTM told me that to get this update (if it's the last one), THEY had to do it, that they will NOT provide the update on an internet site and that it will cost us poor froggies 59€ !!!!
Can someone confirm this ?
Hello,
Why don't you use the last Swiss Rom Orange? I upgrade 3 days ago and it's perfect for Orange France users, because it's french and Orange
And last but not least, That's totally free!!!!
Regards,
Well, i must change my signature by the way now....
Well I could, thou it's not an SPV M3100 that I have, but the plain french version of the HTC TyTN.
So if any warranty issues appear, I won't be eligible
Anyone knows how to do it? Where can i find official support for O2 models in my country (Cyprus)?
please help me

Dont bother my friend! These products are sold by the official O2 network in countries that they have chosen Greece and Cyprus are not included.
Try other sites and you will get some relative info. www.myphone.gr is one of them.
In there you will find localization ways and which Keyboard products na support Greek with the ability to send 160 chars SMS.
It will be more difficult to get a solustion for full localization of the ROM.
Good Luck!!
