Dear All,
I have been reading (with great interest !) all the posts on upgrading an XDAII to WM2003SE and must admit that I am still a little confused about the Country ID bit.
Does country id actually only mean O2 or QTEK etc. or does it pertain to Australia, USA, UK etc.
In summary, if I have an O2 XDAII running with TELSTRA, what do I need to do?
Many Thanks in Advance!!!

After having been able to get in touch with QTek France, they pointed me towards HTM.
HTM told me that to get this update (if it's the last one), THEY had to do it, that they will NOT provide the update on an internet site and that it will cost us poor froggies 59€ !!!!
Can someone confirm this ?
Hello,
Why don't you use the last Swiss Rom Orange? I upgrade 3 days ago and it's perfect for Orange France users, because it's french and Orange
And last but not least, That's totally free!!!!
Regards,
Well, i must change my signature by the way now....
Well I could, thou it's not an SPV M3100 that I have, but the plain french version of the HTC TyTN.
So if any warranty issues appear, I won't be eligible
Hello folks, need some advice here. for quite a few months, I've had an I-mate Jamin/HTC Prophet/Dopod 818Pro and I've been able to upgrade consistently (which is why I have not been able to let go of my unit). Now, my telco in the Philippines is offering me an O2 Zinc at subsidized rates. My question is this (especially to senior members) - what do you think I should do - buy and sell my Prophet or keep the Prophet? what are the pros and cons? any advice from anyone would be appreciated.
Thanks and best regards...
Winston
Hi all,
I just started a new meeting-place for all Dutch owners of a Qtek 8500, HTC StarTrek, Orange SPV F600, Cingular 3125 or a Dopod S300. Most of you are probably familiar with Hyves (friends network), so i decided to create a Qtek 8500 StarTrek Hyve. There's not much right now, but it's a great place to get in contact and share experiences and info. Let's build it together!

See you there!
