I installed on my xda2 running wm2k5 1.60c 64. Apart from the video, all functions work. Unfortunately the pictures are rotated thru' 90 degrees clockwise! have you managed a fix yet?.

Yes finally fix rotated preview.....
I change some dll and put them to ram disk so MS camera and IA camera not crash.... and it Work... :lol: :lol: :lol: (but please don't delete file from album, there are still bug in it...)
But it's OK with me.... :wink: :wink: (Install WM5CamReg.cab first than Extract camera.zip) :wink:
PS: Now i can try to fix problem with deleting files from Album...

mwilmar, application runs ok but I cannot capture any image .
I had to map the camera in ramdisk (mine is storage ) to the hardware button. It opens the camera app. but does not take shots.
How do you take shots?

Some thing about change files properties like deleting and renaming still have a problems, Contact Photo is for IA Contact only....
And well if u extract camera.zip other than in the RAMdisk (Storage Card or Root) than u need that WM5CamReg....

I've also noticed something besides the 640x480 res issue...
- If you try to make pictures using the picture theme (doesn't matter what resolution or picture format you use), you won't be able register them - that error message(*) will appear. :-|
- If you try to make pictures using the zoom function above 1.0x, (doesn't matter what resolution or picture format you use), you won't be able register them - that error message(*) will appear. :-|
You can ONLY use resolutions BELOW 640x480, IN PHOTO MODE. :-(

I use IA Camera Build 19307 and this DLL (colorConvScaling.dll, MP4_READER.dll, mp4spvd.dll, MP4Writer.dll, MPEG4SPVIDEOENC.dll), not standart DLL form MS Camera. To prevent program crash i use it in defrent folder not in Windows folder.... :wink:

Well i am attaching the IA Caller id Latest software. It was basically included in the XDA-2 software package. I have been using it on the XDA-1 now for about a month and i have had no problems. The software works seamlessly and if you have photographs of the ppl in your contacts list then just upload the photos to ur xda and :wink: it gets going.

I propose to keep track of your system preformance... IA Caller ID behaved very bad on the XDA2... it screwed up the event log.
I was so happy when I got ride of it !

Is this really legal? We yell collectively to people asking for warez but lets be honest, isn't this the same? Ultimately IA Caller ID is a commercial product which is not provided for free on the XDA1...

Just transfer the file to your xda using any way you lile and then simply click on the cab file that you transfered to your xda-1. It will self-install the application. :wink:
actually there is a newer version available, where you can even set ringtones

So after an advise by Jiggs, i decided to port it to our ATOM

The "CF8381PN1" work for our atom, however different device had different key.
However i found our key at
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WZCSVC\Parameters\Interfaces\CF8381PN1]
So you can try to find the key and insert it at the 1st reg i show you and hopes it work

Ckaidi thanks man the comm manager is great I am using it in my Atom Exec and every thing is working perfect even the Wlan is working without modification of the registry. But can u guide me how to replace it with my original communication manager. I want this to be in the settings / connections folder instead of Programs folder please.

battery consumption is ok and Htc Music player auto-turning off also. for the app i use that one for the next rom
All right I'll try it some time, I have loads of eBook software (skyscape softwares) in my phone right now and still lazy to re-install it again if I've flashed it in this ROM. I'll think about it though. By the way, can you share how you fixed the HTC Music Player problem? That would be nice and some of our folks can be relieved by it.

2. not possible to use new upgrade method about this rom unless you have its " .nbf " .

Hi, I have a htc touch as well and really liked the 6.1 Professional that Erofich bought to us... so I managed to make my StarTrek look really cool.. wanted to share these few things to people who use it..
1st is a black Vista theme.. just copy it and paste it in your phone's /windows folder and change it from the today settings..
2nd is my fav.. its called dcinobar.. which remove the bottom bar from the home screen in your 6.1... and that make's your wallpaper look really cool..
and 3rd is something that made me think to add this thread.. its to hide the sim contacts..

4th one which i am testing right now us called HTC X button.. whcih close's a windows rather then minimizing it

i would also be editing more things as i use it....

dcinobar doesnt install on my smartphone...it says that the program is not intended for this device....i have a smartflip runing erofichs wm 6.1 does anyone have dcinobar that works for this?
