I tried upgrading to wm2005 and then installing tt5. but i keep getting invalid application.
will tt5 run on wm2005 without any probs or do i need a patch?
my version of tt5 is a legit version.
anysuggestion gladly received

After many months of trying, I have finally managed to get my imate to recognise and work with my Nokia CK-7W handfree kit.
Neither 2.02 or 2.06 Windows 2003 SE would work, I was a bit worried about trying the 2.20 version but it works... and there appears to be no difference ie chinese charaters.
All I need to get to work now is the Blackberry functionallity.

That's very interesting! Which upgrade file(s) did you use? There are so many at this moment, can you share the instructionplan in brief? And have you encountered problems with the 2.20 CHS upgrade.

Does anybody use blackberry on his MDA II with WM2003 ?
I used to have ROM version 1.72 with Blackberry stack. Works fine.
Now I'm having troubles with the Blackberry stack on WM2003 ... (the t-diamondbuildROM)
Any suggestions ?

Can't help you but man do I need help as well!!!!! spent 12 hours on this now tried- the latest from t-mobile-dl but it won't install on device due to un signed software!

Have currently WM2003SE running, but how can I get this to install without getting the Error 120 Country ID ERROR message?

Can it be solved by upgrading with a SD card?
I got a Country ID error when I was upgrading to 2003SE; I retried the upgrade after I got the country id error and I didn't receive it anymore.
As I'm typing I'm upgrading to WM2005; haven't got a country id error anymore. However, I'm using the himaupgradeut_noid.. Maybe you should try it with that upgrade tool. It's on the FTP
Yes, after using the himaupgradeut_noid.exe, it all went ok.
Still have some small problems (synchronisation and lak of memory) but it is nice to play around. Shame that TomTom is still not working.....
did someone try boardcom or widcomm on WM2005 (Magneto), i tried them but they don't work, can someone tell me how to change the BT STACK on 2005?

Tried it. Doesn't work. In fact, I managed to lose my bluetooth because neither of the stacks would start, due to memory issues.
Mercifully, my i-mate ran out of battery life and hard reset.
maybe we will wait for Buzz to come in & get his heads around it
or for them (broadcom) to release a bluetooth stack which support 2005
get it as cab file and use that
thats how it was don with the stack for 2003

ive downloaded the "v. 000.5b WM6 Essentials ROM for Charmer (8.10.2007)"
to upgrade my charmer. Its a Tmobile from AUSTRIA.
connection is good. (with Active Sync)
as soon as it supposed to upgrade it says:
ERROR [300]: INVALID UPDATE TOOL
is there any other way to do it or do i just not see something?

i read meself thru much more stuff and was able to upgrade me phone to wm6 with the awizard tool. didnt hang so far.. well, seam to work at last...
