I have a sanDisk SD Wi-Fi card. I don't know how to configure it, please let me know how to configure it. I already use router. But my XDA can't detect my access point.
Perhaps Hitchhiker is a solution?
tried installing but needs .net framework. could you paste link where i could download it. thank you.
I think, it's this one http://www.kasuei.com/hitchhiker/ for the program and this one for the netCF http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...6b-356b-4a2c-857c-e62f50ae9a55&displaylang=en

Hi,
Since the drivers in Magician is reputed to work for SD Wifi+256 card, I've been trying to replace the drivers.
There has been a couple of workarounds I've been trying. Insofar, I've only managed to get the Wifi working, but not the Memory part.
I was hoping that registry experts here can impart some knowledge on the stuff. Or better still, perhaps someone has the updated drivers can post it here?
Anyone has BSQUARE SDIO driver 1.2.0.0 in their Himalaya?
I'm having the 1.1.0.0 version on my 2.06 ROM, but the Magician version is 1.2.0.0. Does anyone has the 1.2.0.0 in their Himalaya ROM?
so you can use a sd wifi 256 mb Sandisk with a xdaII but only in wireless?
If yes, please post the driver pleaseee

Here it is. It is to be used in conjunction with the PegasSDN.dll supplied by the sandisk pocket pc 2003 drivers for the combo card.
If you are able to use WinCab Mgr, you will find that the sandisk pocket pc 2003 drivers has a SDBusDriver12.cab inside. That also contains a copy of SDIO 1.2.0.0 drivers dated Feb 2004.
Anyhow, be forewarned that the new drivers is not that compatible with XDA2 device and will disable flash storage (means that your "Storage Card" folder will be gone). Not a very good trade to enable wifi using the combo card, if you asked me.
My pocket pc doesn't allow me to overwrite SDBusDriver.dll. Any idea?

I still wouldn't recommend trying it. But what the heck, remember to backup your files and be prepared for hard reset.
go to your registry and edit:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\SDBusDriver]
edit value "Dll"="SDBusDriver.dll" to
"Dll"="SDBusDriver.bak"
cold reset
copy the new SDBusDriver.dll over (it will override the function of the original version, but will not remove it).
cold reset
Storage card folder is disabled (as new SDBusDriver.dll is incompatible with XDA2, I reckon).
Install Sandisk Wifi+256 combo software from www.sandisk.com. This will provide the Wifi software and SDIO multi-function drivers for the SDIO slot.
Alternatively, if you know how to operate WinCAB mgr, replace SDBusDriver.dll in SDBusDriver12.cab in Pegas2577.cab of Sandisk Wifi+256 combo software. You can just install the Pegas2577.cab and all the required drivers and registry settings will be set automatically.
Sandisk combo card Wifi will work fine, even though Storage is still disabled.
I did tell ya, no point right?
But if someone can make both function works, I will have utmost gratitude. In fact, I'm waiting for my fantasy to happen - that some kind soul in MS or MS partners will release an updated version of WM2003SE ROM for XDA2 - complete with new SDIO drivers, BT stack and WMP10 mobile????
Finally got my hands on this.
Enjoy.
Taken from latest Ext rom.
Also does any one know what ChgScutAttri.exe does.
In file info it says it's a cold boot app?
Do you think this one is better then SPB Insight?

Update ROM to required version Setup Error
I am using PDAViet Transformer 1.0.
When I install the cab, it gives a Setup Error: Unable to install application. Please update your device ROM to the required version before trying again.
Does this mean that Info Feed is tied to the Dopod Roms?
Thanks,
Alex
I did see that it checks for which device it installs to. But that can be circumvented if someone Extracts the cab and makes a new installer for it.
Sorry but it's not on my to do list.
I hope you can forgive me for that.
But you can read my "Extracting a Cab Tutorial the manual way"
Or look for that magic cab maker i'm also after that makes Cab files out of OEM packages. It's mostly text in the end that needs editing.
problem placing cache on storage card
When I set Info Feed to store its data on my storage card, then attempt to manually Update any channel, I get an error message, "Not enough storage is available to complete this operation." As long as it's set to use memory, there's no problem.
Current size of Info Feed's data = 3MB
Free program memory = 66MB
Free storage memory = 97MB
Free storage card space = 2.5GB
Obviously it's not a space limitation, per se. Cache/reg value?
Anyone know what's causing this?
@mtn_lion
I encountered the same storage problem after switching to a new 4 GB SDHC card. Info Feed worked fine on all of my other memory cards but I couldn't get it working on the new card.
I found out that there is a strange bug that causes Info Feed to display the "Not enough storage is available to complete this operation" message when there is a lot of free space available on the memory card. After copying some large files to the card Info Feed was working fine again. (At the moment I have a little more than 2GB of free space available.)
It is a stupid workaround but give it a try! It worked for me...
@HipNosis
Thanks for working that out! I'm very pleased to have an answer to the mystery. I'm not gonna waste space on my 8GB card by copying "placeholder" files, but your discovery will make me hurry up and copy more of my music to the card. Do we think that the 2GB threshold is significant?
BTW, I have a line open to support at InfoFeed's maker, Jeyo, about this issue and will share your info with them.
G'day!
Hi all ...

3. I can download apps from Market how can i get Apps by my PC and in APK format and where?
4. My wifi connection is to slow and it didint connect good . its only connect when i reset my Router . how can i fix this problem ?
Thanks for your answers
Hey
Yea your phone is rooted otherwise you would have not been able to install a custom ROM.
I'm not going to describe the APPS2SD method just search it on the forum, there is a tutorial somewhere.
If you download a file manager (Astro/Linda) you can add .apk files onto your SD card and install it through that. There is no specific place for .apk files you just have to search about, your best bet is probably using torrent downloads.
That isgenerally a problem with your internet speed/connection so there is very little you can do unless you are willing to upgrade it. I don't think you can improve the phones WIFI status either :/
Hope I helped
As above. Apps2sd requires you to have partitioned before installing modaco 3.0 though. I didn't bother but if you want it, wipe and partition. Easily done with AMON RAs recovery image
Installing apks is simple with a file manager. I use Astro. Put the apk on to your sd card and navigate to it with astro and choose package manager to install, nothing simpler. It's just getting the apks .
Sometimes it can take a while for me to establish a connection with my router. Other than that, see this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=548807&page=2
I've installed Navigon, Mobile navigator 7, on my HTC HD2.
I've copied the two maps; 2577 and Navigon, on the root of my SD card. Then i've installed the cab-file in the map 2577 on mine HTC.
But when I want to start Navigon, I got the follwing message:
The system could not find a memory card.
Does anyone know what to do??
open navloader in wordpad and put the ight path for the exe
I will try that, but not quiet sure what you mean
navigon can't find the path to the .exe so plug your hd2 as hard drive then open the file navloader on your pc, from there you can enter the path to the .exe
Thanks, I will let U know if it works

Under path \NAVIGON\Settings you find a file named "ApplicationSettingsPathes.xml". Here you have to change "Speicherkarte" to "memory card" or whatever your memory card is called.

JUST BUY THE SOFT AND INSTALL EVERYTHING VIA FRESH! Using WAREZ and then complaining... this sucks!

Hi, if it doesn´t work, you should try this one: [F***** WAREZ LINK]
I use this one on my HD2 so it works, but you should read the comments because the solution for your problem is there.

I did something wrong, I had to copy the two maps on the root of m phone, bus instead I made a new map (I like to order my phone).
So I remove my map and had the two maps from navigon on the rootof my sd card, and voila... it works.
Thanks for thinking with me
I have the same problem)))) I install Mobile Navigator 7 on my SD card but I can't even find folder where it was installed so I can put maps in there))) And when I starting it gives me error that "can't find memory card"...

Again: BUY the software then you won't have to put any maps anywhere. Or ask your questions in the WAREZ forum in which you found "your" MN7(-crack)...
Well I have come to this. I have been enjoying this thread for some time, and wow, great people all around. I have a Sprint unrooted 16GB SG3. Ever since I discovered the art of modifying my phone it has been non-stop. First problem is that my SG3 is not processing files I download to my phone. I do it all directly on the phone using mostly androzip. No I do not download to my PC and then transfer. That is the next problem. My phones memory is down to 3.5 GB and my SD card is mostly empty. Tried to connect phone to PC and try to transfer files to SD card but for some reason after I installed the necessary programs it does not work. All download through play store and APK's are working fine. I can see the files I download on my phone storage>downloads but when I ask to open it, androzip will open but not process file. I am missing out on so many beautiful UCCW skins, icons and others that I am planning to reset my phone to factory setting if I don't learn how to transfer all this to my SD card.
Thanks in advance to anybody that is willing to help or point me in the right direction.
