M1000 Aerial Socket for GPS? - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 ROM Development

Is the socket on the back of my SPV M1000 to connect an external GPS aerial? The plug on the end of my existing GPS aerial is too small to go into that socket.

Just to ensure:
You use different cables for connecting the GPS Receiver to your Ipaq and your wallaby, or?

Leadtek 9531 to USB cable

I have a Leadtek 9531 GPS Mouse which I wired into my car for my previous PDA (An Orange SPV M2000 branded Blue Angel).
I've now upgraded to an Orange SPV M3100 branded Hermes.
I want to keep my GPS Mouse, but I can't find a replacement cable set anywhere. (All the USB - RJ11 Cables I can find are Charging only)
Leadtek's website is no help !
The exisiting cable is a cigarette lighter to PDA cable, with a y split for an RJ11 socket for the GPS Mouse (I'm after a cigarette lighter to USB\RJ11 female)
Does anyone know where I can get one of these cables from ?
cheers
Correct me if I am wrong but I believe since Hermes has no USB host chip one cannot connect any USB devices to it? HermesĀ“ USB port is for audio, sync and charging only, right?

How to connect a GPS mouse (serial)?

For my MDA I, when I use it with TomTom Navigator 5 in my car I have it sitting in an adapter, to which the GPS serial mouse is connected and the adapter routes the connection to the adapter socket into the Wallaby.
Now I'm thinking of putting the mouse circuitry closer to the Wallaby, ideally
building it into the housing would be the optimal solution but that would probably doomed to failure for space reasons, possibly also due to lack of battery capacity.
Has anyone tried this?
Are there any cable adapters to connect the mouse to the Wallaby?

External GSM Antenna

From the UK, looking for an external GSM Antenna.
We use a Vodafone (UK Carrier) version of the blue angel and our users experience some problems in remote locations with signal.
Are there any boosters/external antenna's available for the blue angel?
I've ripped apart one of our car kits and found this is what plugs into the back of the PDA
Probably a standard t-bar or whip antennae for the GSM/GPRS frequencies would work, the trick would be finding the right connector to crimp on... the socket on the back of the BA looks smaller than FME/SMA.
I found this. http://www.masterantena.pl/go/_info/?user_id=0060&lang=pl I need only antenna and see how this work. Connector name is ms-147.
is maybe possible to connect internal WIFI ANTENNA

What is the external antenna connector standard?

What is the external antenna connector standard?
I am trying to buy an antenna but I can't get my head around all the connector standards. What is the name of the one on Hermes? Anything like FME female or something?
Also, can anybody recommend any good antennas that would cover the 2100 band (for 3G) ?
It does not use a standard connector. Do a google search for 8525 external antenna. You will find cables that let you connect the 8525 to standard cell phone external antenna connectors. There are also some sites with external antenna kits that include the external antenna and the adapter cable. Here is one site with both: http://www.alternativewireless.com/cingular/cingular-8525-accessories.html.
Thanks
Thanks mate !
How about tytn vs tytn2
Does hermes share the same antenna connector socket as kaiser? (tytn and tytn 2)?
