Please help me out.
I was able to sync my Xda2 running on wm2003se without any problem till a few days back when i started getting "Synchronization Error" while i am trying to sync. The Activesync hooks up, and it shows the name of the mobile device that is in use, and then when it has to sync the Outlook datas and "files" it says "Synchronization Error".
I am still able to install apps, and use the "explore" feature. just that it is not Synchronizing!
please help me out... thanx a lot in advance!

I have also started getting "Syncronization error" when connecting my XDA2. Does any one have a solution for this?

im a bit new to all this xda stuff.
ok ive just installed active sync 3.5 (from the cd). the phone will sync with my pc, however when i try to explore the xda the window opens and nothing happens. after about a minute this message appears -
critical communications service failed to start. then it says to restart.
tried this and then tried the latest active sync to no avail - what am i doing wrong.
all help much appreciated.
Are you running any firewall software on your PC ?
This can stop communication with the ppc, you can try disabling the software and try to explore again.

tried that but it does exactly the same thing. it syncs perfectly but no exporer.

why don't u install the most recent version ....
which is 3.7.1 is shall do the trick and operate flawlessly

I upgraded the TSM500 to 1.60a and everithing worked fine.
After running out of Battery the contacs and phone tabs on todays screen stoped working.
Syncronization failed and no way to use the himaupgrade tool as it fails when trying to delete old rom files.
The rest of the progras keep on runnig properly. :?: :?:
:idea: Any idea how to get the contacts, calendar and phone working ?
:idea: Any idea how to sync ? I can acces my device but not sync data !!
If not, how to get back to 2003se ?

Hi, my english is not the best but I will try my best.
Got some problems with my HTC HD2 (no custom ROM) and Active Sync 4.5 - I cant connect the Phone to the PC. My computer (WinXP) shows the "connecting..." dialog but nothing happens...
The troubleshooting Program says there is a problem with the IP-configuration...
I unchecked the "high speed data transmission" in "USB to PC", reinstalled ActiveSync, tryed the FixMapi command, restart the DHCP service, installed "ActiveSyncMode.sa.cab" on my phone (don't work), (of cause) deactivate Noton Internet Security 2011... no change.
Strage thing No.1: The Active Sync Program on my HD2 crash instandly after start! I don't know why. Is there a original Active Sync .cab to reinstall it?
Strage thing No.2: I used AS in June without problems but I deleded it some months ago... after reinstall it stops working.
Any ideas? I don't want to hardreset my phone again...

That was much more easier than I expected!
My problems are that When i´m trying to connect zune, i get error: "Connection Error, We Can't create a connection from your phone to the internet. You can still sync content between your computer and your phone."
And on xbox live, i try to refresh and it gives error 80072F89. How to fix? getting annoying..
I have tried to reset phone and make a new account, but still same errors. New activation code maybe??
I have qualcomm, and i have Rataplan 5.0 installed
Remove zune from your pc and reinstall zune, see if this helps about the error with xbox live, this is something that is happening when MS changing hotmail for outlook, I have the same error but the games are still working, I hope this is temporary but I'm also searching for a fix.

Hi all,
After updating to the last stable (12.0.3) it pop up a problem with my work account connected to Office 365. You can see the error on the first attachment. It fails to sync the account. When I go to the settings (2nd screenshot) and try to manually sync the account it simply dont work. What to do? Is there some workaround or something?
