- flash SPL 1.01.0109 to mobile til 100%, ask about reboot phone, rebooted ..
- start phone = white screen
Somthing wrong with bootloader ? reflash it ?
What we must do ? help please.

its because the WM5 upgrade is for typhoons not hurricanes. youve just trashed your bootloader by installing a typhoon one. back to the manufactuer now.

1. I´ve first try flashing a windows mobil 5 rom from my qtek 2020 on the m3100 for 2-3 times
2. then I´ve flas it with the new rom from Cingular ther are using bootloader 1,06..... and IT COME BACK ALIVE....
and if you have a HTC HERMES Then you just find a rom with you phons cid her

- Which CID does your hermes have? If it's a M3100 from UK, i guess it is ORANG001, right?

I do not know what the flash didt to my hermes but it seems on usb monitor like it slowly after trying to flash the old 2020 rom 2-3 times went further and further in to the program. the screen turn silver and read USB like on the 2020. Every time it just stop (frozz).
Then I just try the new cirguler rom.
yes my m3100 is a orange001 cid -bootloader 1,04
I don´t know what the original rom was I think it was on off the first orange releast I got it 20/7-2006
(Do you whant me to upload the zip file containing my windows 5 mobile ?)
P.S. now my problem is that I can´t unlock the phone because imei-unlock do not suport bootload 1,06

It's ok, it was original rom from M3100... no problem, no need to upload anything.
If you have dead Hermes try to flash with Hermes_1.18.416.1_1.18.416.101_1.14.00.10_WWE_Ship.exe For me - it`s work.Regards

I have A SPV M3100 anyoane write same ... for unlock and new freez in "Windows mobile"
when i put in 3 color and i see:
"Herm100
IPL-1.01
Herm100
SPL-1.04"
And when is in 3 color and connect to PC ActivSync get error cannot recognize this device
I tried to upgrade my athena (french rom) with wm6 english version, and it was the crash
the original rom is dammaged and athena w'ont start enven with hard rest ???
(I did unlock it, it was bought in belgium and its was sim-unlocked).
Any help please to re-install original french rom or any thing else ???
Enter Bootloader mode and check if it says SPL: Olipro
If yes, that you should be able to flash a ROM (the one for your device)
even without ActiveSync Connection
If not, you haven't unlocked correctly.

During th eflash of my rom radio with 1.54.00.10 the program stopped and my mobile restart in bootloader.
The problem is that the flash program doesn't want to restart flashing and my mobile stay on bootloader menu.

I flashed with RUUWrapper.exe on my PC with usb connection but during the verification the soft said me error 260 the device not connect.

Looks like the FLASHING TOOL is not compatible to your device! What OPERATING SYSTEM are you using?
I am not sure if your device is already CID unlocked?
If you run on XP and your device is CID unlocked use the CustomRUU (search the forum), if not: read the WIKI!

HELLLP (ive been upgrading since the xda II) and i recently got a tmobile hermes with wm5! then got wm6 upgraded it and got to about 78% and my pc died and then i tryed recovery did not work had to go to work so i left it! got back and ive tryed so many more upgrades of the image with no luck its stuck on splash screen! ive placed it into bootloader mode then ran ruu wrapper and it gets to the bit of updrading (25mins and a progress bar) and the phone goes white with upgrading image 0% then on the pc i get error 262!! and thats as far as i got please can some1 help thankyou so much

Have you tried the command "boot" in mtty?
If you had unbricked your phone and are trying to change the Rom, don't forget to use USPL. Tell us if it works (or not ^^')

Next ... if it stops via 2% with ID Problem -> your device isnt cid unlocked!! This is your main Problem!

i cant explane ... no rom in my OEM folder can flash your device without Hardspl or uspl is installed!!! you need MTTY and use command "boot" to start your os! then you flash again! if your OS partition is deleted with useing Task 32 ... you have a problem!!! your device has a FR CID ... only a original FR rom can flash your device and i havent see a original FR rom in the moment! this is why i collect them! this is in a lot errors the best way to fix!

I have HT7 Phone it bricks during upgrading the SPL because it had WM5 and I went to install WM6
I can boot the Phone in Recovery Mode ( Holding the Camera Button and Boot ). Three Color Screen and I can communicate with the phone through the MTTY but during installing the Update it says ERROR 300
is there anyway to get the phone alive again ?

jafer mainly error 300 comes in when you are using wrong rom update utility... atleast in my case...after running spl pgm from phone and mtty program make sure you run the rom update utility inside the spl folder before running the rom update utility inside the rom folder... hope this helps.. and make sure that the rom is for old gene...

The Phone is HT7 , during the upgrade it bricks , I used the " Orefkov " but it seems it only works for new Phones
Anyway by no I can Boot the Phone in Tri Color Mode but when i try to upgrade a rom it says ERORR 300
is there any way to BOOT the Phone through the SD Card ? I already had the same issue with another phone , I boot the phone with SDCard and it became alive again !!
But I don't know the Instructions for this GENO Crappy Phone
