SAP settings

Hi,
Does anyone knows which roms are fitted with the SAP settings soft?
I need it for the hand free bluettoth system of my car.
I already loaded and installed the Fantastic b4 and my S200 is recongnized and coupled with the car but with that ROM I do not have enough free memeory to synchronize my mails and contacts through the push/pull mail system.
Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions
Did you do a hard reset after flashing the rom? I had exactly the same problem (not being able to sync due to low memory) and it was because I forgot to hard reset. After resetting, everything worked like a charm!
Thank you for the suggestion.
In fact, I don't know if I forgot or did reset it. In the meantime, I tested unsuccesfully other ROM. I switch back to Fantastic b4 and try again.
It works
I have reinstalled the Fantastic b4 again end got the same merror message I did not mentioned in my previous post. "Init_tray.exe" was corrupted.
After having made a few hard restes, finally the file was correctly installed and my PDA is synchronizing.
The only remaining slight problem is the qwerty keyboard that I would delighted to replace bu an azerty one.
The Fantastic b4 looks great.
Thx again.

Random Freeze on HTC Athena X7500 WM6

Hi guys
I've been facing since I bought my HTC Athena irregular freeze everyday.
I upgraded the Device to WM6 the next day I received it, it went very soomth with my applications installed.
However, the freeze appear very randomly, it could be while launching a new program, or playing backgammon, sometimes after device wake up, also once when received an SMS.
A very weird behavior also, is that sometimes I need to soft-reset 3/4 times in a row to get passed the HTC and the Windows Mobile splash screen.
For info, the soft-reset is not necessarly done after a freeze ....
I decided to start this new topic in order to see if other people are facing same symptoms on their Athena, and to share our experience together.
Cheers
Hope you run Oli's SPL Unlocker/patcher...

Sorry no such problems here, but did you run Olipro's SPL patcher/Unlocker before flashing thee ROM? I know tupsindin released a few WM6 ROMs a while ago that could be flashed without CID unlocking your X7500, but Olipro's Unlocker will make your device unbrickable.
If you have already done this, try flashing the new WM6 Dopod U1000 ROM seems very stable to me with no issues so far and slightly snappier than the other WM6 ROMs.
Thks mackaby for your reply
I did unlock it via the UK website I found on XDA forum, sorry but can't remember the name (soemthing IMEI), so I did that then flashed with the WM6 ROM ver 2.20.405.1
Im doing some more testing
what is really annoying is that I need to do 4/5 soft reset very ofently in order to pass by the HTC/Windows Mobile splash screen
I just bought my HTC Advantage X7500 with WM6 already installed and I have lock up issues if I have auto shutoff enabled it will not start backup after a auto shut off I keep using the reset to get it back up. When it is up I just disabled the auto shut off and now have no problems.
Im not having same pb as you, but I saw on one thread on XDA forums that people having that problem fixed it by assigning a the turn on/off device to a hardware button. and apparently it fixed their problem.
Try that and it must fix it for you

Hi,
I have encountered in the past this problem, and I observed that it was happening after I installed HTC X-Button v1.5, and it was even worse after HTC X-Button v1.51.
Later on, a new version was published, and it works flawlessly since. The exact file is HTC X-Button v1.51 build 30229.
Hope you have same issue. Good luck,
Zohar
Thks zoharbl for you reply
I don't have HTC x-button
For now, I found an alternative with Running Pocket Hack Master at 663 Mhz, and I modified the sequence for startup processes using SKTools putting Pocket Hack Master as #1 in the order, Wisbar Advance 3 as #2, SPB Diary as the last one and Norton Antivirus just before the last one.
I noticed that SPB Diary is slowing down a bit my device, and specially after a reset, this is because I created custom tab adding plugins inside this tab such Phone Alarm, SPB Weather and Resco Explorer Plugin ...
I tried many config, and found out this one works the best for me, the device is resetting with less then 30 sec without any hanging anymore.

Really interesting comment. I have original WM5 configured UK Ameo and have always experienced random crashes. After reading this, I looked again at my settings and found the X-button configured - I don't need it as I use the same functionality from Wisbar. Turned it off and it hasn't crashed since.

Hi there BigDede
Don't know if this will help...
Even since before I have upgraded to WM6 I have had problems similar to yours. At the time I had WA3 and WAD installed as well as Spb Weather, Spb Diary and certain parts of Pocketplus. I did a trail and removed all software from Spb and Wisbar and everything worked perfectly. In the meantime I have now only added Spb Mobile Suite and use iLauncher on my today screen together with the plugin from Resco Explorer - no more problems!
It seems to me that some of the above software have compatibilty issues with the U1000/Athena/Ameo (whether wm2005 or wm6 makes a difference I don't know).
Cheers
Thks Superdawie for your reply, you are right, I was suspecting Wisbar, SPB Diary abd phoneAlarm to be the origin of my problems.
But as I said previously, I found a workaround to make the Athena runs ok by playing with the order of startup programs. It's been more then one week without any freeze

Same for me, working well on WM6 since I turned X-Button 1.51 off.
In WM5 I had this problem all the time as WM5 totally sucks!
In WM6 I only experienced this problem when programs "collided" due to timing issues as you've found out. By changing the load order or timing of some applications (some programs have it built right in like SmallMenu....it's resolved all of my lock up issues, etc. Most of the problems can be resolved by playing around with the software you have loaded, as you found out. Not sure if it's because of a crappy OS or because of crappy coding by the developers of the software we're installing...maybe both.

HTC Cube hosing cooked roms

I've had some problems with ROMs not getting past the 'Calibration' screen at startup...I think I've isolated the problem to the cube.
every time I select the cube or Touchflo in the kitchen, I get this problem.
Everything else the same:
Cube = no worky
No Cube = worky
Anyone else having these problems?
Anyone find solution?
Thanks,
Matt
Bump.....no one has the solution?
I tried to use OEMizer's No Calibration options, but my phone still seemed to go thru calibration... hmmmmmmmm
I made OEM's of the Cube and Touchflo just fine and I dont have problems with the calibration screen at all.
I am going to cook a rom with out FtouchFlo or HTC cube and see. Maybe something with those programs when cooked via OEM.
I was experiencing problems, but I put my calibration information directly in a .rgu and I bypass the welcome altogether.
What i did was disabled the welcome message and skip all that calibration. once the phone booted and everything, the green window mobile will get stuck and start menu bar shows up, all you do is click Start and that'll go away.
The above only works if you use DCD kitchen, or if you use other kitchen search for welcome and delete the link and the welcome.exe.
vboy,
Disable Welcome? I didn't see that option in dcd 169? how would I do this?
does anybody know how to cook a cube that will work into a rom?

Resco's 'Today Plugin' doesn't work on WM6.1?

I flashed to DCD's 2.10 ROM last night and loving it (thank you DCD!) The one issue I have is with Resco's Today Plugin. I've installed the full version of Resco but I don't see anything in the Today>Items.
Any ideas what this is? Any workarounds, or am I just stuck here? Are there any Resco-esqe Today plugins that do essentially the same thing?
Any thoughts on this?
I have had it working on my 6.1 installs. I don't usually use it though.
Just curious, why do you install that on the today screen? I use resco as well for the registry editor, but I never install the today plug in. Is it really convenient or does it add something? I guess I like to keep my today screen clean.

only that it's pretty frustrating...
i've tried as well different skins and themes, but nothing was displayed properly. either the plugin was completely missing from Today or there was no icons displayed. reinstalled couple of times, but no luck.
i think there's something wrong with the plugin itself. waiting for a new release...
ps. using WM6.1 Test2 from Lenny on my x50v.
pss. 1999TL^, to answer your question: apart of giving a good overview of what's the memory and battery status, this plugin is a great quick-launcher from the desktop. very handy.

I found this thread....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2144958
I uninstalled pocketcm keyboard and all returned working...
yeah ok ... I've flashed my device with Mary 0.2 rom with touch.dll from s600. It worked well BUT I still have problems with the keyboard!!!
In most standard Windows apps it seems working normal. SMSes and emails are fine and stuff but e.g. in Opera I get only numbers ... The same in Java apps. Does somebody know the solution for that??? I've already enabled T9 in rom options and made a hard reset if that would be your fix ...
Please help !!!
