mine is tytn and i need the same info...have tried quite a few but they dont seem good..always lacking one thing or another although the creator hs done a great job... hats off to all! but i need guidance
The ONLY way you'll get a rom you like is to cook it yourself... If you want to use the roms cooked by others you aren't going to get exactly what you want. Either live with that & add what apps you want or learn to cook yourself...
There are a heap of roms out there, find the closest to what you want then tailor to your needs, thats my advice.

I read this forum for a while now and was just wondering if anyone has built a custom WM2003SE ROM for an Alpine or Andes device with romkitchen or other tools - I'm very interested since I'd like to add some files to ROM - or is it just not possible yet? Maybe I just used wrong search criteria?

romkitchen is ONLY for wallaby devices(xda1's)
the whole concept dont make sence for the other devices
where the only part of the rom you can alter is the extented rom
and you can add to that any time you need not just before flashing rom

That's the problem - it's NOT possible to unlock the ExROM.
if it's unpossible now then you can always hope that somebody are working on it i guess

i think its possible to unlock the 2i's ExROM...
u can try this sw... it works for 2i
Doesn't work for XDA2i running WM2003SE
As there isn't a WM2005 for the XDA2i, I can't test that

Real or fask...it is a 70M+ [email protected][email protected] as LARGE as an official one....
Anyway, "HTC" official and Korand's official----I personally prefer the latter^^"

I think the way to know the best rom is try rom after rom, searching for the one that fits perfectly with your own needs!

Try Rom_My_Black_2 by Varanusvincent... works perfect for me fast with minimal appz installed. then you can go from there... no HTC today screen though.. u just have to install a cab for it...

For me a ROM how much closest to official the better. And with that in mind
FOR ME Korand 3.1 is the best.
But i have not tried much of them, i'm not flashoolic. Maybe there is better. Some of them are nice, but i like official. And then change .

Yes, I was dumped my german iolite (thanks to manaamanaa for his help), and create a working kitchen. I´ve build a rom, but without CID-unlocker its only a training.

Jupp, it´s german, because I´m a german too. And why don´t other peoples place a ROM? I don´t know. Maybe, I am the best cooker for german Iolite-ROMs in this time?
Okay, isn´t so, it´s so, that the Iolite in Germany is only a short time in stores. In a quarter of one year it maybe looks other.

I´ve a XDA Guide from O2. My ROM works only of XDA Guide´s without CID-unlock. I hope, a programming-guru writes a CID-unlocker in next time.

Up to now the HTC Iolite is only shipped by one company in Germany so far. That is "O2" and they call their slightly alternated phone "XDA Guide" but it is more or less still the same cellphone.

is there a ROM that can fix the caller id for this phone? it recognizes both numbers +639209245283 (with country code) and 09209245283 as different even though its the same. i read that this issue is only for HTC roms only... can i install other roms to my htc cruise 09 that can fix this issue?

No, you can´t install ROMs from other devices, because the hardware of the devices are to different. The ROMs was exclusive made for the different devices.

Come to think of it, the shipped ROM is the best . Atleast for lazy pple
The best ROM depends on the individuals choices. A ROM which I think is best could be not that great for somebody else.
Personally I feel all the ROM available in this forum for GENE is best. Because it is giving we owners of GENE to taste the latest in the Windows Mobile technology.
For that we should be thankful to all Chefs here.

I suggest you trying Manila based ROM, than a cube ROM. As I personally feel Manila is more fringer friendly, responsive and has more Icandy to it. Just a personal opinion.

u need unlock ur SPL and i thing u have not done this so pls click on the but last column of my sign and read it many time this will give u all the answers u need and also guide u with req tools on what u need to do

Only then try to do a HSPL
