i was trying out the ia camera cab to see if it really is better but couldnt notice any improvement in the quality of the pictures
i want to remove it but the registry is all on the settings that were installed with the camera - any way to get back the original settings?

My camera is rubbish with the stock ICS app. I can get slightly better quality with other app's. The best I've tried so far is ProCapture but it's still not up to much. And the poor image quality isn't helped at all by the dreadful over-processing that's going on behind the scenes.
If I go to engineering mode/camera, the quality seems better and also has settings for AF mode, raw capture mode, unprocessed and such. But these settings don't stick outside of engineering mode and I can't even find the pictures I've taken in engineering mode. So what's the point?
Does anyone know if it's possible to use these settings for anything useful? I can't find any relevant settings with getprop so I wouldn't no what to try in the build.prop.
Hey everyone. I was just wondering what was everyone's take on the settings for the camera. I'm still undecided on the Anti-Shake usage in camera mode. It seems that it has a tendency to add more grain/noise to the picture (you can even notice it by carefully looking on the screen when you enable and disable it). Does it really help reduce blurry photos (since the phone does have digital image stabilization)? Also, same thing for video mode using video stabilization. Is it really beneficial to have it enabled? Since if you take pictures while recording, I think the resolution of the photo alters. Just wanted to know what would be the best settings in overall day-to-day usage.
I was just coming in here to complain about the camera myself and see what others are saying for best settings. I cannot either seem to get mine to take pictures without being blurry - in any type of light or with the flash.
Hi guys, i have recently enabled camera2api string with build.prop editor, so i tried some camera apps that have manual mode like Footej, Proshot and Manual camera. The main issue is that the maximum shutter speed that i can have is 1sec on Footej, how is this even possible? I'd like to take long exposure low ISO photos in the night, but it's not possible. Is there any setting to unlock? It's a pity to have that camera without this feature. I hope that someone could solve this, thanks and sorry for my english

I'm really annoyed the camera resets to its default settings after a few minutes, missed a lot of shot because I had to dial in the manual settings again or later noticed I only got a jpg and no dng.
Is there a way around it? Already removed Camera from the battery optimization, but that's not enough.
