GPRS will be disconnected if i put it into cradle

Hello all,
my current GPRS connection is always disconnected if i put my QTEK2020 into the cradle. Is there a solution that the connection wil not be interuppted?
Thx Yoshi
This not a bug, this is feature (there can be only one connection on PDA)... But if you want only to charge your MDA2/XDA2, switch of USB ActiveSync and then it won't disconnect you from GPRS...
but why can i establish a new GPRS connection after activesync is connected via USB? in that case i have 2 connections :?:
Regards Yoshi
Because you cannot have two connections on the PPC.

Click to collapse
Search the forum for "tethering" or just go to Wireless Settings -> Share.
I think he means to allow the phone to use his PC's broadband connection, like you can with WinMo and Activsync.
there is no way to do this as far as i know with ANY android phone at the moment.

Please help. I have already rooted my phone with Superoneclick. Downloaded a Terminal emulator on phone. Still not able to connect to internet.
My Internet connection on PC is a cable connection with it showing in XP as WAN Miniport (PPPoE) connection. My Android phone connection, after tethering shows as Local Area Connection-2 (Android USB Ethernet/RNDIS#2). I am unable to bridge the two connections....
Hi
You can probably share internet connection thru bluetooth if you dont have wifi adapter!
Google "Sharing internet connection through BT"
Try this:

@kats17
The links that you mentioned have already been seen by me. Either they are talking of tethering (and not reverse-tethering, which is using PC internet connection on phone), or of bridging two LAN connections in XP. Nevertheless, thanks for your help.
As said earlier, I have a cable connection on my XP PC, which is showing as a WAN Miniport (PPPoE) connection. This connection is not getting bridged with my LAN (Android) connection, and therefore I am unable to complete the connection.
Please help anybody..

Turn phone to USB Dongle for 3g router??

Hello all:
I bought TP-LINK TL-MR3020 travel router which you can plug in a USB 3G dongle for internet access. I am wondering if I can use my phone(unlimited data plan) as 3G modem? The tethering is working if I connect my phone to laptop, but when I plug it in to the router, the router won't recognize. There is an option to upload a modem file (.bin) to the router so it can recognize the "unknown modem". The question is how to write and compile the modem file for android phone?
Thanks for advice
