T-mobile 1.60.00 WWE upgrade?

Hi All,
I upgraded my QTEK2020 to T-Mobile 1.60.00WWE. Everything normal except with radio on (radio vers. 1.06.01) sync hangs up and when i use contacts it usually hangs too...
What is the best upgrade available?
Anyone can help me? :?:
Thanks

The latest radio stack is 1.10.00 and included in all new o2 (and i-mate) upgrades. I suggest that you take this radio stack 'cause I did not experience that kind of problems yet.
Think it should be possible to use that radio stack for qtek as well but I think that there is already an upgrade for qtek containing the latest radio stack. Maybe you should check with your provider first...
How specifically do you take parts and pieces from a ROM upgrade, or in the case of this thread the Radio Stack?
I have an MDA II, with 1.60. I did not upgrade to the 1.60.36, because I did not really hear positive things about it and my device is working quite well.
I would however like to improve the Radio Stack independent of upgrading the ROM Ext.
How do I do this?

1.42.00.00 Radio - anyone want it?

I have a pristine TyTN from Rogers that I have to return in a week. Is anybody interested in radio 1.42.00.00 that shipped on the device? The OS itself is an old build of WM5. I am not sure whether the instructions for dumping the ROM will extract the radio:

From what I understand, seems like you cant dump radio rom.
yep, I mean nope...
I offered a month ago to dump my Rogers ROM. I flashed my ROM but not my Radio, and the consensus from the maestos was that it couldn't be extracted.
They need to wait for a RTM version by itself.
There is a 1.43 version out as well, don't really know enough about which is "better", but my Rogers 1.42 radio is really solid.
Great, thanks for the feedback guys!

Wallaby RSU

Hi All I'm a Newbie today. I hope this is the correct place to ask this question, if not I'm sorry.
I have recently un-locked my XDA I from O2 and now able to use it on Orange. I upgraded the OS to XDA-Developers Special Edition 1.2.
What are the benefits of upgrading the RS from 4.08 to say 4.16 or 4.21.
Model PW10A1
Bootloader 5.15
Radio Ver. 4.08
Original Rom 3.14.13 Eng
Some people report a better receipient with a newer radio stack.
If you do not have any trouble leave it as it is. There have been a few reports that their wallaby ended as brick after trying to upgrade the radio stack.
Stefan
