Cingular 1.34.502.1 VS i-mate 1.31.305.2 - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam Software Upgradin

Hi
I would like to Upgrade the ROM on my trion but I am undecided among that of the imate and that of the Cingular.
Does someone know how to tell me which both the best among the two?
From that little that I have understood the best combination it would be the Cingular with the radio of the imate.
The only problem should be that to make to work the anterior camera.
Doing choose the cingular where I can take the cab to make to work the anterior cam?

Cook Ext_ROM for Qtek 1.60.21

Here is my cook Extended_ROM for Qtek 1.60.21
I add all the O2 Asia autoconfig, ClearVue, VideoMMS, GPRS Monitor and O2 theme to the Qtek Extended_ROM
Follow this thread for how to install:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=22283#22283
Use the Qtek file instead of the T-Mobile file.
Thanks, I miss the GPRS monitor and video MMS from T-mobile. I'll give it a try tomorrow. Anyone else tried this Cook'ed rom
Is is for xda I or xda II. ??? Is this special for the qtek or any other xda will accept it. I have a siemens sx56 will it work with me. I use cooked rom 40.00.05 in vodafone coverage.
This is for the XDA II/MDA II/I-Mate/Qtek 2020 only that have the Qtek Danggard 1.60.21 Installed. In theory you could put on a T-Mobile 1.60 NL with the Country ID fix hack. Haven't try it yet. But second thought is not a good idea since the Radio and NK will be TMobile and the Ext_ROM will be Qtek.
T-Mobile NL ExtROM on Qtek 1.60.21
Tried it and still using it
I modified the header your cooked T-Mobile ROM and install it on my O2 XDA2 running Qtek 1.60.21.

This one is little bit different than the cooked T-Mobile. It have all the Qtek ExtRom plus the other stuff. One noticably different is the OEM_WWE have newer version.
But Murphy law said if it ain't broken don't fix it.
Upgrade
Thariman!
I need your help! I have upgraded my o2 xdaII with the t-mobile 1.60, I am in Italy and in the mex month will be on market the qtek 2020, so I like upgrade my device with the dangaard 1.60.21 but with your cooked extended rom( is goo for Italy, yes?) can you please explain to me the procedure (or I will not have the country id error?)
thanks in advance
roatto
The cook Ext_Rom is more specific for the Asia Operator. You can still use it in Itally but you still have to configure your GPRS and MMS manually.
If you are already upgrade it to the Qtek ROM there not going to be a Country ID error:
On how to upgrade to Qtek ROM please follow this link:

Remember this is useful for those who have their Extended_ROM read only. Otherwise you can just modified the content of the Extended_ROM.

T-mobile 1.60.0 Vs Dangaard 1.60.21!!!!

hi 8)
it seems to be there r many roms but we need to which one is pretty....
i have dangaard 1.60.21 rom, its cool, fast and slove port prblrm(port4,port5).
SO we can make a good discussion about it
Interesting, but I am still trying to find out what the essential difference is between the two Roms, I now have the T-mobile one on my Qtek and before installing the Dangaard one I need to understand if it makes sense or not.
Who can say anything useful about the real difference?
I have tried both and I prefer Qtek one.
Almost no difference. The operating system and the radio stack are identical. The only difference is in de provider specific additions.
dangaard 1.60.21
Hi to alls,
I come also from t-mobile 1.60 to dangaard 1.60.21 and that is much better, no charge problem, no mms problem and with the dangaard I have the signal where was not possible with t-mobile and at last with dangaard 1.60.21 is not necessary the soft reset after the hard for stop the personalization, for all that I take the occasion for give special thanks to spanky for the upgrade develop from t-mobile to dangaard.

T-mobile 1.60.00 WWE upgrade?

Hi All,
I upgraded my QTEK2020 to T-Mobile 1.60.00WWE. Everything normal except with radio on (radio vers. 1.06.01) sync hangs up and when i use contacts it usually hangs too...
What is the best upgrade available?
Anyone can help me? :?:
Thanks
MMoura
The latest radio stack is 1.10.00 and included in all new o2 (and i-mate) upgrades. I suggest that you take this radio stack 'cause I did not experience that kind of problems yet.
Think it should be possible to use that radio stack for qtek as well but I think that there is already an upgrade for qtek containing the latest radio stack. Maybe you should check with your provider first...
How specifically do you take parts and pieces from a ROM upgrade, or in the case of this thread the Radio Stack?
I have an MDA II, with 1.60. I did not upgrade to the 1.60.36, because I did not really hear positive things about it and my device is working quite well.
I would however like to improve the Radio Stack independent of upgrading the ROM Ext.
How do I do this?

WM2003SE or WM2003 NON SE ?

Hi,
I currently own a Himalaya (XDA II) with WM2003 (non se)
1.72.00WWE
Radio : 1.17.00
Protocol Version : 1337.28
I see that there are Various WM2003SE Roms avaliable for the Himalaya here :
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Different Customized WM2003SE for HIMALAYA
Are these more stable and do they have better bluetooth performance? As I notice my himalaya cannot connect to many other phones on bluetooth, apparently thats a problem with the Himalaya I have been told.
Or is WM2003SE basically just WM2003 with Landscape mode option? or is there more to it? example bugfixes, better bluetooth performance/compatibility ?
Thanks if anyone can give me some info.
kidcash.
can soime one reply. id also like to know as i am same situ
