1- i use downgrade_spl.rar it cannot downgrade crached one.
2-iuse mtty.exe "task 14 0" it just pass the boot screen and stop at "Windows Mobile " screnn , please help me to make life to my died tytn pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssssssssssssssssseeeeeee

i had the same problem and, for now, i think there is not a solution. what you have to do is twice:
1) you wait for a solution (don't worry, it will arrive.... just patience!)
2) take it to support service (as i did. i joice this way because i could not live... the whole time of mine was spent in searching a solution!)
choice: patience or support!!!

Hm - only a slight chance that this may help, but - when you are in that Windows Mobile screen, did you try a hard reset (hold both softkeys, then reset)?
My Trion used to also hang in the WM screen on nine out of ten soft resets, although all I did was flashing the official O2 Germany update and 1.16 Radio (i.e., no bootloader experiments ). A hard reset cured the problem 100%.
Your situation is a bit different, but at least it can't hurt to try, right?

There's an outside chance your USB port is bad. Try re-flashing using a different USB port or different computer alltogether. Another poster with your identical problem recently traced it to his USB port and successfully re-flashed his hermes device. It sounds like your bootloader is still intact and that's all you need.
Hi everyone.
im a beginner for PDA's..i have read your post about prophet then i decided to upgrade to WM6 PDAVIET.
While i connect pda and execute software i had mistake and turn off phone.i did turn on phone after cancelled process
it just showing operator logo and IPL SPL GSM OS infos..
and i have run again Upgrade_ROM.exe than its stopping " Clearing the existing Extension ROM " ..
What did i do PLS i wait your helps
goto bootloader and flash again
follow the direction on the link to enter bootloader mode

That is not bootloader... It should show a three coloured screen, and when plugged in to USB, the text in the bottom right hand corner should say "USB"

i have ATHENA 100 in T-MOBILE Ameo........ i update lot of rom's on my ameo with success . my phone status is: IPL-v1.00 SPL-v1.20. Olipro.
my bad luck i try to update with that rom (Athena_SPL3.5_WM6.1_WWE_R6.1-Michy) after 92% rom got error & phone restart. after that my Ameo hang on startup. i put my phone into usb mode by pressing CAMERA key + POWER & try to upgrade with lot of diffrent roms but i got ERROR[244] INVALID MODEL ID (pic attached below) plz help me how can i update my phone in working condition??>......................
Dear friend
I think you have to install the original rom on your phone , not another cooked ROM.
If you can do that , your phone will be downgrade to original spl .

my frnd i got the 100% same problem pls do let me know if u could get rid of it im also trying my best to solve this but im still there....
Set your wifi adress with Mtty software after that upgrade with original rom all ok.

Do you already do a SPL unlock?
If yes, just flash with another ROM.
Go to bootloader by press and hold camera then reset, release reset but still hold camera untill tri color appear, connect usb cable to pc then flash again with another ROM.
How thing i have all ready done that?but show-me how i do to see if i done well

as per the nos u have posted u have not done HSPL
ur spl should end with .olip or .oref at the end instead of .0000
go to the tut given by Krazy and read many times use the tools and do the needful given in the same section viabhav has also given a tool
chek on both good luck

There is a thread named upgrading ... by krazy as well as a thread by vaibhav named automatic SPL Updater. Just search a bit, son.
or may be you can take the cell to haree who will patch it for you

I used SumitsProUsersROM_WM6.5_build21815_OldGene_Fixed to upgrade its struck at windows mobile 6.5 screen only nothing happening.
not able to flash again. Aslo want to note that while I was ugrading it shows me something like "sudden loss of power"

After 6 hours of trying to change spl to flash the rom i haven´t manage to do anything more ist´s exactaly the same that i have all ready i have download a lot´s o rom´s and nothing i have tried the to do updating the spl by the sd card and nothing happen because i can´t put anything in the memory of the phone i only can put thing in the card from my computers card reader to trying to change the spl to 1.10-Olipro to flash the rom but i can´t
I don´t no what i have do more?

u go to the below links and save them on ur comp and Read no one is going to hand hold u and u dont need it with such nice tutes given pls not im a guy with Zero tech skills and i did it so u can as my boss would say its not rocket science
& i dont have any gene tools with me as i have upgraded to another phone (see my sign)
